Yeyue raised her head to look at the ceiling and said to Ian,
“It seems you really have no idea where you are!”
“What do you mean? Isn’t this the Divine Realm?”
Hearing Yeyue’s words, Ian asked in confusion.
“This is the Divine Realm, all right, but this specific area is a special space within the Divine Realm.”
“A special space? Could you explain that?”
Ian asked Yeyue.
“This is a place where deities are imprisoned; no one can leave.”
“A place where deities are imprisoned?”
“Does that mean you are imprisoned here?”
Ian asked Yeyue.
“Yes. I committed some transgressions and was locked away here.”
Yeyue nodded.
“How many years have you been trapped here?”
Hearing Ian’s words, Yeyue used her fingers to calculate.
“About 500 years, I suppose.”
“500 years?”
Hearing this, even Ian couldn’t help but feel shocked.
“Don’t you get bored being stuck in this small room for 500 years?”
“Bored or not, what does it matter? I can’t get out anyway, so I just stay here.”
Yeyue looked indifferent.
“However, now that you’re here, you can at least chat with me and help me kill some time.”
‘No way. I can’t get trapped here for 500 years.’
Not to mention that he would have died long ago after 500 years, even if his lifespan were sufficient, being confined here for that long would probably drive him insane.
“Isn’t there any way to get out?”
Ian asked Yeyue.
“Do you think I haven’t thought about escaping?”
“It’s just that every method I tried failed.”
Yeyue told Ian helplessly.
Over the years, she had tried countless ways to escape, but no matter what, she could not get out.
And so, she remained trapped in this room for 500 years.
“Go ahead and try if you want, but you definitely won’t be able to get out.”
Yeyue knew that Ian wouldn’t settle for being trapped just by listening to her words.
He would surely attempt various means to escape.
However, even she, a deity, had no solutions; what could this small Mage possibly do?
“You had better stay quiet, I’m going to sleep.”
After saying that, Yeyue laid down on the floor.
It seemed that for the past 500 years, she had been sleeping on the ground.
Seeing that Yeyue was ignoring him, Ian began to try and escape this space.
“Dark Magic: Instant Step.”
Ian mobilized the mana in his body, using his skill that allowed for instantaneous travel of 100 meters.
However, this Instant Step did not teleport Ian 100 meters away; instead, it caused him to crash directly into the wall.
“A spatial teleportation skill, and Dark Magic at that. Young man, your talent is quite good.”
Yeyue was just lying on the ground, not actually asleep, observing every move Ian made.
“It’s a pity, but this space has been sealed. Unless you encounter the same Space Turbulence that brought you here, you won’t be getting out.”
“Space Turbulence? Is this what you mean?”
Ian rubbed the spot where he had hit the wall and asked Yeyue.
“Sigh, do you really think Space Turbulence is that easy to come by?”
“It was an impossible miracle that you encountered one to bring you in; you expect to encounter another one just like that?”
Yeyue spoke with disdain upon hearing Ian.
In her view, she hadn’t encountered a single occurrence of Space Turbulence in 500 years.
How could Ian, who had only been trapped for a short while, encounter one?
He must be hallucinating because he wanted to leave so badly.
“I’m serious, this really looks like Space Turbulence.”
Ian watched the swirling hollow in front of him and continued to speak to Yeyue.
Just after he finished using Instant Step, even though he didn’t successfully warp out, he had discovered this phenomenon in the room.
“I told you, how could it be so—”
Yeyue sat up, intending to lecture Ian and tell him to stop daydreaming in broad daylight.
But when she sat up and opened her eyes, she truly found a sign of Space Turbulence beside Ian.
“Holy cow, there really is Space Turbulence!”
Yeyue was shocked.
She hadn’t encountered one in 500 years, yet this guy had encountered two within mere minutes.
Could he be some sort of God of Luck?
‘Seriously, what is this luck?’ Yeyue thought to herself.
However, complaints aside, seeing the Space Turbulence made Yeyue so happy she could almost jump for joy.
Finally, finally, finally!
She could leave!
Yeyue was overjoyed.
Only Yeyue knew the pain of the last 500 years.
There was no food to eat and no entertainment to pass the time.
Although she was a deity and her mind wouldn’t shatter, it was still incredibly boring, wasn’t it?
Now that she saw a glimmer of hope to leave, how could Yeyue not be excited?
Having thought that, Yeyue used a teleportation skill to appear right beside Ian, staring at the Space Turbulence as if it were some priceless treasure.
Although she didn’t know where the other side of this turbulence led, as long as she could escape, it didn’t matter.
With that, Yeyue stepped into the Space Turbulence, but unlike her expectations, she was repelled by it.
What is happening?
This space is rejecting me.
Could it be that this Space Turbulence doesn’t lead to the Divine Realm, but to some Small World?
The “Small World” Yeyue referred to meant worlds like the Saint Roland Continent.
Because these Small Worlds were under the control of the Divine Realm, deities usually referred to them as Small Worlds.
Furthermore, Small Worlds would actively reject the presence of deities, which was the reason why everyone who attained godhood in a Small World would eventually leave for the Divine Realm.
A Small World could not contain the existence of a deity.
“Uh, since you can’t get out, let me give it a try.”
Seeing Yeyue being repelled by the space, Ian stepped forward and reached his hand into the turbulence.
‘I must succeed. Aetherinra and Elise are still waiting for me to save them.’
Ian prayed in his heart.
Just like that, Ian’s hand passed through the Space Turbulence without any obstruction.
Ian was overjoyed and immediately tried to push his entire body through.
However, before he could fully pass through, he was pulled back by a force from behind.
“Wait a moment! Are you really just going to abandon me and leave on your own?”
Yeyue glared at Ian with resentment.
Seeing the look in Yeyue’s eyes, Ian couldn’t help but think to himself.
‘What is with that sorrowful gaze?’
‘She acts like I’m some heartless person abandoning her.’
“Yeyue, it’s not that I don’t want to take you. You tried just now, didn’t you? You can’t get out!”
“Now that I can leave, you can’t just stop me.”
Ian was worried that Yeyue wouldn’t let him go and would force him to stay.
If he missed this instance of Space Turbulence, who knew how long he would have to wait?
“Since I can’t leave, do you think I’m going to just let you go?”
Hearing Ian’s words, Yeyue said with a touch of anger.
