“Little Black, stop it. Let me go. If you have something to say, sit down and talk properly,” Feini said calmly, suppressing her anger.
Jukkido then reluctantly let go of Feini’s leg, acting like a giant infant.
It had to be said that after dropping her disguise, she looked 70% similar to Little Black, both of them being mother-obsessed girls.
Heiqi Long picked Feini up and sat her back in the wheelchair.
Jukkido, meanwhile, knelt on the ground with her head bowed, waiting for a scolding.
“What are you doing here? Haven’t you already cleared all obstacles? Why didn’t you go back to be your Demon King?” Feini asked.
“I don’t want to be the Demon King anymore. I want to take you back,” Jukkido said.
Smack!
Feini raised her hand and gave her a slap, then pushed her over onto the ground before having Heiqi Long put her back in the wheelchair again.
Although such an attack caused no damage to Jukkido, Feini, who could only move one hand, might have fractured her own bone.
“We pushed you to the highest point. Little Black even gave the Red Dragon a beating. She should be completely disgraced, and you could have entirely taken over her niche to become the king of the God and Demon Academy. I’m asking you, why the hell did you crawl over here? Are you going to betray our expectations?” Feini asked again.
Seeing Jukkido’s miserable appearance, she suspected the other must have discovered some secret. Otherwise, she wouldn’t be kneeling before her like a younger sister.
“I read your memories. I know you were secretly assisting me. I know you were able to control my spirit to make precise choices…” Jukkido murmured.
“You clearly knew I was helping you. From the first day, you were there shouting about being the boss, thinking about leading the Demonkind to achieve great things. Now that your goal is nearly within reach, why are you messing around? What are you doing here? Can’t you just get the hell back to the God and Demon Academy and continue cultivating your intelligent Demonic Beasts?” Feini yelled.
Of course, this wasn’t her true thought. She wasn’t that kindhearted; she simply couldn’t think of an excuse to alleviate the situation for the time being and was playing the “good person” to stall for time.
“Why didn’t you tell me your identity? Why did you hide it while helping me?” Jukkido asked.
“Is there something wrong with your brain? Who was the one who exiled me in the first place? Who was the one who threw me into the Dead Lake to sink to the bottom? After surviving against all odds, was I supposed to come and confess my identity to you? Just so I could be punched to death by you again?” Feini asked furiously.
“…” Jukkido kept her head down, silent and unable to refute, because she truly would have done exactly that.
“I helped you, but not for your sake. It was only for myself, so that our grievances could be settled and I would no longer owe you anything. I don’t want to have any more to do with you. Look at me, I’m not even lingering in the Demon Domain anymore. I won’t stop you from building whatever great career you want in the Demon Domain,” Feini said.
“Why do you say that? I’m the one who owes you. I’m the one who failed you,” Jukkido pleaded. “I came here because I want to make it up to you.”
“Returning to the Demonkind to do your big things is already repaying me,” Feini said.
“I…” Jukkido glanced slightly at Heiqi Long beside them.
“You’re not thinking of snatching my child again, are you?” Feini asked.
“She is my child… she is our child.”
Hearing this, although she had basically known the secret before, Jukkido couldn’t help but tremble with intense excitement upon hearing Feini admit it personally.
“Stop being so cringy. Not only did you beat me to death, but you also bullied your daughter every day, verbally abusing her. She gets furious just looking at you. She won’t become your weapon, so don’t even think about it,” Feini said.
“I never thought that way. I truly let her down as well. I want to compensate my children,” Jukkido added.
“If everything can be compensated, what use would there be for a Hero? Isn’t that right, Lord Demon King?” Feini mocked.
“I really want to make it up to you. Just tell me what to do, and I’ll do it.” Jukkido hugged Feini’s calf again, reverting to her persistent “toad” mode.
“Your skin used to be so thin, how did it get this thick now? Can’t you just let me go?” Feini was speechless.
“I’ve realized my mistakes. Come home with me,” Jukkido said.
“Go home with you? Do you even have a home? Northern Demon King, I was a parasite on your hand and witnessed half your life. You’re a monster who only knew destruction since birth. You have nowhere that can be called a home.” Feini’s head was truly throbbing.
“If there’s no home, I can create our homeland! Wherever we are together is home!”
Hearing her words, Jukkido’s spirit was instead bolstered, as if she had thought of some drastic plan.
“No one wants to form a family with you. Go back to your Demon Domain,” Feini said. She felt like she couldn’t stall this person anymore; her thought process had completely fallen into madness.
“A Demon Domain without you is meaningless even if I go back.”
Jukkido’s expression turned serious, and she slowly stood up. It seemed she had made a certain decision.
Seeing things take a turn for the worse, Heiqi Long suddenly launched a powerful elbow strike as a sneak attack.
But this time, Jukkido didn’t submissively let her daughter beat her.
She raised her hand and caught Heiqi Long’s elbow in an instant, doing so with ease.
Her five fingers were like iron pincers, gripping Heiqi Long’s arm so tightly that she couldn’t break free.
“Daughter, it seems your strength hasn’t made much progress lately,” Jukkido commented coldly.
Although she knew Little Black was her daughter and knew she had wronged her, it was still nearly impossible to make an Ancient Dragon bow and apologize completely to her offspring.
“What are you trying to do!?” Feini asked angrily.
“I am going to create a family for just the two of us!” Jukkido shouted.
After saying that, she forcibly lifted Feini from the wheelchair, preparing to snatch her away regardless of the consequences.
This was the situation Feini feared most. After all, she was a Demon King and a Red Dragon.
Logically, there was no need for her to say so much nonsense; if she wanted something, she could just take it.
The fact that she had talked for this long already showed that her brain wasn’t working very well.
“Put Mother down!” Heiqi Long grew desperate. Dragon Blades erupted across her body as she slashed violently toward Jukkido’s face.
However, Jukkido’s attack was even faster. In a flash, she delivered a Flame Kick right to the pit of Heiqi Long’s stomach, sending her daughter flying like a soccer ball.
She crashed into the perimeter wall, causing the entire wall to explode, showing just how explosive her power was.
“Damn it!” But Heiqi Long quickly scrambled up and charged forward violently, refusing to back down even an inch.
But Jukkido had already grown wings — a pair of dark red dragon wings unfurled and flapped violently.
Holding Feini, she soared into the sky.
Her mobility was maximized as she flashed past like a shooting star, flying directly to the city walls of Saint Lisha Academy.
Crash!
However, Saint Lisha Academy was protected by a Sacred Sword Barrier.
Jukkido unleashed another Dragon Flame Rider Kick, blasting a hole through it from the inside and flying out without looking back.
Feini was in a miserable state, being carried along like a salted fish during high-speed movement.
She immediately felt the blood rushing to her head and became dizzy, naturally unable to resist the Red Dragon’s kidnapping.
“Mother! Ahhh!” As for Heiqi Long, the land-bound dragon could only roar in futile rage below.
By the time Blackie ran to the city gate, the Red Dragon and her mother were already nowhere to be seen. In her anger, she smashed the gate with an elbow strike.
“Jukkido Simon! You just wait! I won’t let you get away with this!” Heiqi Long could only howl loudly toward the mountains.
—
At this time, the Trial of the Saintess could no longer proceed because the Sacred Sword Barrier had been broken, which immediately startled the Black Saintess and the old priests.
Not only that, one of the Saint Candidates had suddenly vanished on the spot, turning into a pile of burnt-out fire element ashes.
“!?” Xueyuedai was also greatly shocked.
She hadn’t expected that after being clever her whole life, she would be played instead.
She didn’t know that Jukkido had actually hidden a mysterious Mana Clone, and its disguise was incredibly stealthy, even though she had previously only been a melee Martial Arts Magician.
As for Qingshamu, she used Instant Step to rush out of St. Lisa’s Cathedral. However, she was ultimately one step too late.
When she returned to her own small chapel, she saw only the collapsed perimeter wall and the deformed little wheelchair lying on the ground.
She arrived at the city gate and found Blackie kneeling on the ground in self-blame, and she pretty much knew what had happened.
“Little Black, come with me and tell me everything.” Qingshamu was surprisingly calm.
She quickly pulled back the half-dragonized Heiqi Long and told her to retract her Dragon Blades.
“It was Jukkido Simon who kidnapped Mother. I was powerless to stop her. She’s too strong,” Heiqi Long said helplessly.
“I understand. Rest first, and I’ll handle it. We will bring Feini back,” Qingshamu consoled her, appearing very reliable.
Subsequently, a large number of Holy Knights and old priests arrived at the gate.
Everyone looked bewildered, staring at the dejected current Hero and the solemn former Hero.
“Ms. Shamu, what happened?” the purple-robed, bald Bishop inquired.
“It’s the Northern Demon King,” Qingshamu said, not hiding anything.
As soon as this name came out, although everyone might not have known the Northern Demon King’s true identity, hearing the words “Demon King” was enough to make everyone tremble.
“The Northern Demon King is the leader of the Demon King’s Army. She is also the Beast Lord who has invaded the borders of the United Kingdom the most. I once fought a bloody battle against her in Phoenix City and barely managed to repel her,” Qingshamu explained in a heavy voice.
She quietly hid the fact that she had been knocked off the city walls by the Demon King’s sword.
“After extensive investigation, we have learned that the Northern Demon King’s true form is an Ancient Magic Dragon. Her strength is immense, far beyond that of an ordinary Beast Lord,” Qingshamu continued.
“She can be considered the greatest enemy of our United Kingdom. Furthermore, she possesses the special ability to disguise herself as a human. She sneaked into Saint Lisha Academy today, and our New Hero was nearly assassinated by her sneak attack. It’s impossible to guard against.”
This made everyone’s blood run cold. Even though Qingshamu’s words were only half true, she had hidden Feini’s existence.
“I saw a woman with dragon wings flying into the sky while holding another woman. She shattered the barrier with one kick and then escaped.”
However, a Holy Knight on duty had witnessed the incident, exposing Feini’s presence.
