Lilia dived headfirst into the pile of Magic Crystal Coins.
The cool, pure magic made her groan comfortably.
“I’m rich! Meow!”
She grabbed two handfuls of Magic Crystal Coins and tossed them into the air.
The sound of the coins clinking together rang out melodiously.
However, after splashing around in the money for a bit, her movements slowed down.
‘Wait. I didn’t come here to be a miser. I’m here for revenge!’
‘I want to make that Demon King’s heart ache!’
‘What’s the point of just taking this money? Lucia is filthy rich. She probably doesn’t even remember how much she has stored here.’
Lilia crawled out of the money pile.
Her gaze shot toward the center of the vault.
Dozens of massive crystal orbs were suspended there.
Each one held an item sealed within.
Those were Lucia’s true treasures!
Lilia rubbed her hands together, a wicked grin spreading across her face.
She walked up to a crystal orb sealing a beating heart.
The heart was as large as a millstone and covered in golden patterns.
Each thump-thump of its beat struck her very soul.
“Heart of Titan…”
Lilia licked her lips, a vision already forming in her mind.
‘If this thing appeared in the central plaza of the Demon Capital, just the sound of this heartbeat would be enough to scare those sheltered demons out of their wits. Good stuff!’
She reached out and pressed her black “Private Seal” ring against the crystal orb.
Whoosh —
The sealing runes flashed for a moment, and a gap appeared.
Lilia immediately channeled her spatial magic.
She nimbly packed the still-beating Heart of Titan into her temporary spatial bubble.
“Hehe, the first one is mine! Meow!”
Her courage swelled instantly.
She set her sights on the demonic blade burning with black fire nearby.
“Blade of Doom… a lethal weapon that once cut down an ancient god…”
Lilia stroked her chin and pondered.
‘What should I use it to cut? Oh, I know! That tall, stupid statue of the Demon King in the plaza! If I use this sword to split its head open, Lucia’s face will definitely turn green with rage!’
“I’ll take it! Meow!”
Taken!
“Tears of the Deep Sea… capable of triggering a continent-spanning tsunami?”
‘This is good. I’ll just throw it into Asra City’s moat. I’ll let them experience what a water park feels like!’
“Looks good. I’ll take this too! Meow!”
Taken! Taken! Taken!
Lilia had gone completely wild.
She didn’t pick the most expensive items; she specifically chose forbidden objects whose descriptions read “extraordinary effects” or “unending disastrous consequences.”
The Source of Plague, the Seed of Chaos… she didn’t leave behind a single thing whose name sounded ominous!
Soon, her unstable spatial bubble was stuffed to the point of bulging.
Because of the various energy conflicts, the surface had already begun to *sizzle* with electrical sparks.
Lilia looked at her spoils and clapped her hands in satisfaction.
But it wasn’t enough.
If these things stayed with her, Lucia could take them all back with a single thought.
If she was going to play, she was going to play big!
She looked at these “time bombs.”
An incredibly crazy idea took shape in her mind.
She would take these things — every single one of them — and “deliver” them to the streets and alleys of the Demon Capital, Asra!
She would let them throw a grand “party” in Lucia’s home base!
‘I want that Demon King to watch with her own eyes as her most precious toys turn her city upside down! By then, let’s see how she can stay sitting on her throne!’
The thought made Lilia’s blood boil.
Her face flushed with a nervous, sickly excitement.
She extended her mental power into the nearly exploding spatial bubble, using all her strength to wrap around the heaviest item, the Heart of Titan.
Then, she closed her eyes and pushed her newly mastered Tier 3 Spatial Perception to its limit.
With a buzz, a sharp pain shot through her brain, and her vision went black.
Her consciousness pierced through the thick layers of the ground, through the various barriers of the Eternal Night Palace, and flew toward the outside world.
She “saw” it!
The bustling Demon Capital of Asra, the central plaza where people came and went… and that towering statue of the Demon King that represented Lucia’s authority!
‘That’s the spot!’
Lilia’s lips curled into a grin, and her nose felt warm.
A warm liquid began to flow down, but she didn’t care.
She condensed all her spatial power into a single point, aimed it at the proud head of the Demon King’s statue, and launched the most daring spatial delivery of her life!
“Get over there for me! Meow!”
—
The Demon Capital, Asra.
Central Plaza.
A Minotaur was humming a little tune, carrying the Fire Salt Wheat he had just bought on his shoulder as he prepared to go home.
He suddenly stopped and suspiciously dug at his ear.
“Thump… thump… thump…”
What was that sound?
It sounded like someone was beating a massive war drum.
It wasn’t just him — every demon in the plaza heard the sound.
Everyone looked up, gazing with uncertainty and suspicion toward the source of the noise — that giant statue representing Her Majesty, the Demon King.
Just then, a massive explosion tore through the sky!
The top of the 300-year-old statue of the Demon King exploded without warning, leaving a massive hole!
Debris rained down, and the plaza instantly devolved into a chaotic mess.
Demons scrambled for cover as screams echoed everywhere.
Then, under the terrified gaze of every demon, a golden, beating heart the size of a millstone slowly rose from the hole in the statue.
It floated in mid-air.
With every beat, the ground trembled in response.
A vast life force spread out, and the hard obsidian floor tiles of the plaza actually began to grow green sprouts and bloom with exotic flowers at a speed visible to the naked eye!
Everyone was stunned.
However, this was only the beginning!
In the most prosperous Evernight Rose Street on the west side of the city, a demonic blade burning with black fire fell from the sky.
With a thud, it stabbed into the center of the street.
Cursed flames instantly swallowed several of the most luxurious shops nearby.
At the Magic Academy in the east of the city, a Seed of Chaos appeared out of thin air in the library.
Twisted vines grew wildly, wrapping around the entire building in just a few seconds as screams from students echoed from within.
In the residential district to the north, a Source of Plague exploded in the public well, and a green toxic mist shrouded half the block…
One by one, the forbidden items Lilia had “shipped” exploded in various corners of the Demon Capital simultaneously!
Alarms, explosions, and screams filled the air!
—
Inside the vault of the Eternal Night Palace.
Lilia lay sprawled on the ground.
Her magic and mental power were completely drained, and her limbs refused to obey her.
But on her face was a brilliantly radiant smile.
She “saw” it — the grand chaos she had personally directed.
She had succeeded.
“Lucia…” she whispered triumphantly as she lay on the cold coins, staring at the vault’s ceiling.
“Are you satisfied with this ‘surprise’? Meow?”
