Chapter 95: How despicable!

It was already 10:00, and Lin Mingxin was still lazing in bed, curled up under the covers while playing on his phone.

Chen Zhilong had already headed out.

Wang Zuhao was sitting in front of his computer playing games, glancing at a walkthrough as he played while muttering complaints under his breath.

“Brother Hao, you’re being too noisy.”

Walking in behind him, the yawning Bai Yao suddenly perked up, staring at Qiu Ye with a hint of nervousness.

Qiu Ye, however, naturally stuffed the bag into the wardrobe without any intention of hiding it.

“What kind of date would it be? The weather’s getting cold, so I just picked up a jacket while I was at it.”

“Looks like it’s burning hot to me.”

The high today was 25 degrees, and the air conditioner in the dorm was still set to 26 degrees.

Wang Zuhao finally turned his gaze toward Bai Yao, who was clearly in low spirits with faint dark circles under his eyes.

“What did you two do last night?”

“All-nighter at the internet cafe.”

“Damn you for not calling me.”

Compared to Qiu Ye, who looked full of energy and refreshed even after an all-nighter, Bai Yao’s steps felt like he was walking on clouds.

He entered the room in a daze, sat down in front of his computer without a word, and couldn’t stop yawning until tears squeezed out of his eyes.

It was definitely Wang Zuhao’s fault for being so noisy all day, which had prevented him from getting good rest before…

As Bai Yao sat there in a daze, Wang Zuhao looked at his back, feeling that something had changed.

“When did you buy *RimWorld*?”

“I bought it since I had the money. It’s not that interesting, though. I can’t figure it out.”

Wang Zuhao casually closed the game.

He had clearly said before that this game was just “pixel people running around,” yet here he was, secretly buying it and playing it.

‘He says one thing but does another. If he were a loli, he would be a tsundere.’

Bai Yao silently rolled his eyes, yawned, and walked to the balcony to wash up before heading to bed.

Qiu Ye happened to come out of the bathroom, leaning against the railing with his legs crossed.

He glanced warily into the dorm to make sure no one was paying attention before speaking in a low voice.

“Change your underwear on the bed. Be careful. If you need to wash them…”

“I already took them off,” Bai Yao said, his voice muffled by the toothpaste in his mouth.

“I have my jacket covering me anyway.”

“Fine then.”

Qiu Ye actually felt a bit disgruntled.

For some reason, a sense of possessiveness welled up within him; he was afraid Bai Yao would accidentally expose himself and be seen by others.

“Aren’t you hot?”

“I’m okay.”

Bai Yao picked up his cup, gargled, and spat out the water.

He then used a towel to wipe his face vigorously and stretched.

“Suddenly, I don’t feel that sleepy anymore.”

His mind had been incredibly foggy, but washing his face seemed to have washed the sleepiness away.

Qiu Ye started, hesitating.

Bai Yao returned to the dorm and went over to Lin Mingxin’s bed.

“Mingxin, can I have some of your face masks?”

“Take whatever you want. I have plenty, and they aren’t worth much.”

“Thanks.”

He took a face mask and some facial cleanser and returned to the balcony.

Only then did he ask Qiu Ye, “What’s the question?”

“Uh…”

Qiu Ye scratched his head and lowered his voice.

“It seems like… you’ve never had a period?”

“…”

A period?!

Bai Yao froze in shock.

The face mask in his hand slipped into the laundry sink without him even noticing.

His face turned pale as he looked at Qiu Ye, his lips trembling.

“I heard it hurts a lot?”

“Will there be a lot of blood?”

“I won’t die, will I?”

Qiu Ye scratched his head.

“I’ve never been a girl either… I’m still a bit confused about how you suddenly became a girl.”

To be honest, he felt he had accepted it quite quickly.

Subconsciously, he found it preposterous, yet he still didn’t understand the situation.

Qiu Ye took the phone and looked at it carefully for a long time before looking up at Bai Yao.
