Deep crimson Dragon Blood seeped out, scorched by the deep crimson Dragonflame.
Ten-Step Hall could only curse that her hand strike wasn’t ruthless enough, fast enough, or precise enough—anyway, she wanted to beat both the Red Dragon and the Hybrid to death.
“Hybrid, just what are you trying to do?” Ten-Step Hall questioned coldly.
“……” Kurosaki’s face was pale, one hand pressing her wound, but she stayed silent, her gaze stubbornly fixed on Ten-Step Hall.
“You helped me win an opening, so why block my way now?” Ten-Step Hall pressed again.
“I only helped you win the match. But you want to kill the President—and with the vilest methods.” Kurosaki said in a low voice.
“Mere Undercover has no right to call me vile.” Ten-Step Hall sneered, “Victors are Kings, Losers are Bandits. I don’t care who sent you, anyone who blocks my way will be killed.”
“Shut your filthy mouth!” Orange Sea Dream roared in fury, and in the next instant, a blast of Destruction Dragon Breath burst from her mouth!
Ten-Step Hall didn’t dare neglect it. She crossed her arms, turning them into two gigantic shields of Deep Crimson Dragon Scales, forcefully blocking the Destruction Dragon Breath.
“Bang bang! Bang! Bang bang!”
Yet even so, she was blasted back dozens of meters, pushed from the center of the arena all the way to the wall.
Even the Pit Demon Tiles on the floor shattered, the Pit Demon Coating burned away—a testament to the sheer force of that Destruction Dragon Breath.
Ten-Step Hall threw away the charred shield of Dragon Scales.
Though she herself was unharmed, she knew the Red Dragon had regained her wits.
If she wanted to land another sneak attack, it would be far from easy.
It was all the fault of that Half-Dragon Hybrid—otherwise, she would have already won.
“Hybrids don’t use their brains, so they deserve to be mutts for life.” Ten-Step Hall kept cursing.
She still hated Half-Dragons that much, but in truth, only targeted Blackie.
As for the other Dragon Maid, Ten-Step Hall didn’t seem to go after her, and she didn’t even hate the Red Dragon as much.
But this time, Orange Sea Dream truly hated Ten-Step Hall—her gaze was merciless.
Her lower half school uniform was already burned, revealing her snow-white belly, which soon turned crimson again as she readied another Dragon Breath, preparing to avenge Blackie and fight the Crimson Dragon to the death.
The dark Dragon Scale Armor could withstand her own Dragonflame bombardment—she had already defended herself from the attack.
But to help her block the strike, Blackie jumped in to intercept Ten-Step Hall’s piercing blow, and since the Dragon Scale Armor hadn’t completely cooled, it was pierced—otherwise, Blackie wouldn’t have been so badly injured.
“President Haime, please stop, everyone stop! The match is paused.” The Faceless Witch suddenly drifted over, halting the fight for now.
“…..” Orange Sea Dream could only halt her Dragonflame charge for the moment.
Feini flickered forward in a flash, snatching Blackie from Orange Sea Dream’s arms, then let White Feather Dove support Kurosaki and Xueyuedai, taking them to the Medical Room for treatment.
Orange Sea Dream was reluctant to hand Kurosaki over to Feini, tugging back and forth a couple times, finally passing her over, unwilling and disgruntled.
Clearly, Kurosaki had betrayed her, yet also shielded her from a lethal blow—she really couldn’t see through what this child was thinking.
No, in truth, she saw it all too clearly—she simply refused to believe it.
In this era where righteousness was a thing of the past, this little one still clung to her own principles.
It wasn’t justice or evil—she was just relentless in proving herself with real strength, refusing to play dirty tricks.
Yet this stubborn little Half-Dragon would rather betray her to protect what she valued. Their bond was far deeper than she’d imagined—what exactly was their relationship?
Well, actually, Blackie had already stated outright they were Family—it was just that no one had ever connected the dots.
Then again, it wasn’t that no one had realized it. There was one person who felt something was off.
And that was Qingshamu, always slacking off and having a good time.
She knew Feini’s children grew up in the blink of an eye, and now it seemed Feini, White Feather Dove, and this Half-Dragon Maid had long known each other.
“Could it be…”
At this thought, Qingshamu’s heart skipped a beat.
At first, she’d thought this Half-Dragon Maid was the Faceless Witch’s follower, but witches weren’t supposed to deeply interfere in student affairs—at the very least, planting an Undercover wouldn’t be their style.
That was already outside the witch’s job scope—it must be the Half-Dragon Maid’s own will at play.
Yet another wave of helplessness surged up from her heart. Her depression had only just lifted a little, but thinking of Fat Nini, the other’s child, and so on, she still couldn’t get better.
It wasn’t that I’m jealous, it wasn’t that I’m petty—absolutely, absolutely not.
It’s just that this Half-Dragon Maid was most likely the Northern Demon King’s child—the child of her archenemy. That made things much harder, and much more tangled.
The useless Hero’s love had never been solid, and now with all this, things were shakier than ever.
But what happened next, it was finally her turn.
Feini stood there in a daze, staring at the Gymnasium’s doors that couldn’t be closed in time, her face full of regret.
This certainly wasn’t part of her plan—she’d never intended for Blackie to jump out and reveal her identity, nor to have her take the blow to gain sympathy.
Feini had intended to take the Red Dragon’s blast herself—after all, she couldn’t do anything else, except for having high defense.
The plan of using a ruse of self-injury was meant for herself, but now her own little daughter had borne the pain.
Sure enough, none of our schemes ever succeed here.
Whether it was Xueyuedai, Orange Sea Dream, Ten-Step Hall, or herself—no one’s plans ever went smoothly. The changes always outpaced the plans.
Because every character here had an absolutely unpredictable way of thinking—no matter what, they’d never let your schemes succeed.
“Witch Judge, what should we do next?” Ten-Step Hall asked.
“If you two fight with full strength, not even the anti-demon Gymnasium can withstand your Dragon Breath. The whole Tea Party Club will be destroyed.” The Faceless Witch analyzed, “I don’t think you should settle your conflicts by fighting. Why not sit down and talk it out? If you absolutely must battle to the end, then leave the God and Demon Academy and find some open space outside.”
“Good suggestion, I also think we can resolve this with negotiation.” Ten-Step Hall nodded, expressing agreement.
The destruction caused by the two ancient dragons fighting was too great—once they got serious, all the other beast apprentices could only keep away.
This isn’t a fighting game, it’s a gal-game—there’s no such thing as character balance.
“How do you want to talk?” Orange Sea Dream asked.
“How about we stop fighting and each go back to managing our own clubs? From now on, we won’t interfere with each other. Anyone can join whatever club they want, it’s their freedom, and we have no right to interfere.” Ten-Step Hall proposed.
For her, a peaceful resolution without a group brawl was a good outcome—at least she could keep the Tea Ceremony Society safe.
Ten-Step Hall also realized her actions had been too rash, which was why the major clubs had united against her.
She didn’t need to be anxious—she had plenty of time. As long as she kept the Tea Ceremony Society, she’d have the means to keep fighting these people.
“Don’t you find your words funny?” Orange Sea Dream laughed. “You didn’t just split up the Tea Party—you also poached people from the Martial Arts Club. Even if I agreed, I have no right to speak for the Martial Arts Club.”
“We in the Martial Arts Club will follow President Haime’s wishes and decisions.” The Martial Arts Club’s Vice President Jay interjected, making their stance clear.
Suddenly, all the decision-making was handed over to Orange Sea Dream.
She’d wanted to pull the Martial Arts Club into giving Ten-Step Hall a hard time, hoping they’d be tough for once, but now they seemed anything but—they were just waiting for her decision.
In truth, the Martial Arts Club wanted peace, but saying they wouldn’t fight right away would be embarrassing.
So they left the choice to Orange Sea Dream—fight or retreat, all up to her.
It had to be said, Vice President Jay from the Martial Arts Club was smart—no wonder he was called the White Paper Fan.
But Orange Sea Dream was very, very unwilling to reconcile.
So, she could only bring out the information she’d gotten earlier to strengthen her bargaining position.
“Your team isn’t clean, and you still want to negotiate with us?” Orange Sea Dream’s tone turned frosty, suddenly shifting the subject.
“What do you mean?” Ten-Step Hall looked confused.
“Haven’t you heard about the ‘Fake Demon Legend’ that’s been making waves around the campus lately?” Orange Sea Dream sneered.
At these words, Qingshamu, hiding nearby, suddenly tensed up.
Her small hand silently slid to her sword hilt—if things went wrong, she’d have to fight her way out.
“What are you trying to say?” Ten-Step Hall frowned.
“I’m saying there’s a Fake Demon right in your team, and you don’t even know? Still acting clueless. She might have already leaked all our intel.” Orange Sea Dream accused.
“Don’t you smear me with baseless accusations—if you have no proof, don’t make wild claims!” Ten-Step Hall snapped.
“You want evidence? The evidence is right in front of you, but you just haven’t noticed.” Orange Sea Dream taunted loudly, her gaze shifting slightly.
But the person she looked at wasn’t Qingshamu—it was Feini.
And, under her guidance, everyone’s attention landed on Feini.
“What about Feini?” Ten-Step Hall was even more confused.
“The collar on her neck is infused with the magic of a Human Race Great Magister. The technique is deeply hidden, and there are Human Race Runes engraved on it. She must be a Human Undercover.”
Orange Sea Dream raised her hand and pointed, explaining.
“!?” Ten-Step Hall was shocked.
“……” Qingshamu was dumbstruck as well—she never imagined this twist. There was actually such a hidden plot.
The other club presidents also started whispering among themselves.
Feini stood there rigidly, everyone’s gazes like blades stabbing through her, but she stayed silent for a long time.
Her messy hair made her look flustered.
“Feini, what’s going on? Explain yourself to everyone.” Ten-Step Hall pressed.
“I have nothing to explain.” Feini’s tone was full of sorrow and helplessness.
