Chapter 8: Water Delivery

It is a book world after all.

Unlike the heavy burden of high school education back in her previous life, Tianhua Middle School implemented a teaching plan that balanced education and joy.

Confused, she held the umbrella and also picked up her pace.

Before coming, the two of them had circled around the teaching building to the small shop next to the cafeteria to buy water.

Fang Chenxi took two bottles of iced lemon water from the fridge, handed them to Jiang Ling, and paid the bill straightforwardly.

“I’ll pay you back later.”

Fang Chenxi smiled.

“You don’t have to.”

On the way, the two chatted as they walked.

In such hot weather, Jiang Ling was eager to walk faster, but Fang Chenxi strolled leisurely, not in a hurry at all.

“How is that rejection letter going? Do you want me to help you take a look?”

Lu Yuyao smiled and took the lemon water.
