Chapter 69: The Little Girl Driver

Su Ling and Su Yao followed the flow of people off the transport.

They carried two suitcases and one cat carrier.

They didn’t have much to bring—just a few changes of clothes—so their suitcases were quite light.

Hajimi yawned inside the cat carrier.

She was a capable-looking young woman with black hair tied in a ponytail.

She was actually the mother?

The owner had assumed they were sisters.

However, remembering the family photo and noticing the shifts in Su Ling’s gaze, she figured there must be a story there.

“Alright, here you go. If you keep them well, they can last for over one year.”

The owner handed the four sticks of malt candy to Su Ling.

The lifelike portraits made Su Ling daze for a moment.

Su Yao giggled foolishly while holding the one shaped like Bai Wei.

Su Ling resisted the urge to stomp on Bai Wei’s candy and carefully took the one shaped like Miao Miao.

After the payment was settled, the owner offered a kind reminder.

Suzuki didn’t linger or even bother to ask for Su Ling’s name.

She smiled, put her sunglasses back on, and walked away stylishly with her suitcase.

However, as she passed Su Yao, she paused for a moment.

Su Yao hid behind Su Ling, poking her head out to watch Suzuki’s retreating figure.

However, she now understood why there were so many flying vehicles in the sky.

It turned out the Witch Academy was suffering from space congestion, making Space Teleportation inconvenient.

She wondered how much the taxis cost.

Su Ling turned around to look for those little girls again, only to find that the crowd that had been shouting earlier had completely vanished.

What was going on?

Just then, a figure by the roadside caught their attention.

A little girl with black hair was currently bowing and apologizing to a group of other girls.

Su Ling and Su Yao approached and found the group of seven little girls quite familiar.

‘Strange, why do I feel like I’ve seen them somewhere?’

The seven little girls were none other than Da Miao and her sisters.

With that, the seven little girls put on some cheap sunglasses they had just bought and walked away with an arrogant air.

This left only the black-haired girl with twin tails standing there.

The little girl looked like she was about to cry, but no one around her spared a glance.

“Excuse me, are you still looking for passengers?”

A pleasant voice reached her ears, followed by a sweet scent of cherry blossoms.

The little girl looked up, seeing Su Ling and Su Yao, and her breath hitched.
