Ling Yue then lifted her left foot again and gently pinched Feng Ling’s nose with her two toes, forcing her to breathe only through her mouth.
At the same time, the toes in her mouth were still there, so every inhale meant smelling Ling Yue’s foot.
That faint scent of body wash rushed into her nasal cavity, traveled up her respiratory tract, and stirred an inexplicable restlessness in her brain.
“See, now you’re both smelling my scent and breathing at the same time. Doesn’t it feel harder to breathe than before? Your nostrils and mouth are both open, but it’s actually harder than having your throat choked, right? Nya, Xiao Fengling, this is called double suffocation~ Both breathing passages are working, but both are forced to take in something that doesn’t belong to you.”
As she spoke, Ling Yue moved her toes away from Feng Ling’s nose, then slid them down her nasal bridge to the philtrum and pressed gently.
“Mph!”
Feng Ling’s tongue struggled fiercely inside her mouth.
Then Ling Yue moved her foot away.
By now, Feng Ling’s mouth corners were completely wet with saliva, and a small puddle of drool was slowly spreading on the carpet.
Then Ling Yue pressed her right foot, covered in Feng Ling’s saliva, against her collarbone, using the sole to spread the saliva evenly over the skin above the collarbone and sternum.
The motion was slow and careful, like applying a layer of skincare.
Her left foot also moved away from Feng Ling’s philtrum, slid from her chin down to her neck, and perfectly conformed to the curve of her neck with the arch of her foot, the toes settling right into the hollow behind her ear.
Through the carotid pulse transmitted by the skin of her arch, Ling Yue could feel how violently Feng Ling’s heart was beating, so she said with a smile:
“Xiao Fengling’s neck is jumping really fast… Is it because being stepped on is so humiliating, or because this reminds you of the feeling in the bathroom last time?”
But she didn’t give Feng Ling time to answer.
She slid her right foot further down, tapping lightly with her toes a few times in that area before continuing to move.
Her left foot stayed on the side of Feng Ling’s neck, continuing to lightly rub her carotid artery with the arch, keeping Feng Ling’s heart pounding at high frequency.
Feng Ling, still on the carpet, had already wrinkled the ribbon around her wrists.
The golden runes glowed a steady bright red under her body temperature.
Her legs curled up and straightened out on the carpet, her knees slightly spread, her toes digging into the carpet’s pile, her body trembling faintly.
“Haah… no… not there… that place can’t…”
“I’ll remind you—you haven’t used your permission for today yet. So do you want to refuse now? Just say the word and I’ll stop~”
Ling Yue looked down at Feng Ling from above.
But in this position that had already been tormented to an abnormally sensitive state, and with her right toe pressing down a little more—still as light as ever—even such a minor touch was enough to trigger a chain reaction over a wide area.
Feng Ling covered her entire face with her bound wrists, tears and saliva mingled together, her voice completely distorted.
“N-no need to refuse… ugh…”
“That’s right.”
Ling Yue moved her right foot away from that spot, then gently patted Feng Ling’s inner thigh with the top of her foot.
After that, she stepped back onto the carpet, crouched down, scooped Xiao Fengling up from the carpet, placed her on the bed, and untied the ribbons from her wrists one by one.
“The temperature-sensing ribbon’s test data is pretty good. Next time I’ll make you a more sensitive one—it can use seven colors to distinguish different emotions~ We’ll slowly test it in the wedding chamber next time. Let’s rest for tonight.”
That night, Feng Ling tossed and turned, unable to fall asleep.
Her mind was full of the scent she smelled when Ling Yue stepped on her during the day.
‘No, it’s that faint scent of body wash mixed with the smell of skin itself.’
‘It wasn’t disgust or humiliation—it was excitement.’
‘When she smelled that scent, this body’s most direct reaction was excitement.’
‘That level of excitement even surpassed when Ling Yue drank her blood.’
‘She even wanted more.’
This realization made her bury her face in her pillow and let out a wail.
“You’re crazy. You’re really crazy.”
She whispered to the pillow.
Of course, the pillow couldn’t answer her.
But the lingering scent of Ling Yue on it made her nostrils unconsciously twitch twice, and her thighs clamped together twice in response.
Feng Ling angrily flipped the pillow over and pressed the unscented side against her face.
But after about nineteen seconds, she flipped it back.
‘Forget it. No one’s watching anyway.’
So she buried her face back into the side that smelled of Ling Yue and took a deep breath.
“What am I even doing?!”
Realizing what she’d done, Feng Ling threw the pillow under the bed.
Over the next few days, while Ling Yue was out dealing with intruders, Feng Ling went up to the third floor twice more.
The first time, she brought a thin piece of wire she’d found in a kitchen drawer, trying to pick the lock on the door.
But the moment the wire touched the keyhole, it was repelled by a rune, nearly poking her in the eye.
The second time, she tried using Reverse Perception to see through the door panel and examine the structure inside.
But Ling Yue had set up some kind of Perception Barrier on the third floor.
Her Reverse Perception could only see a blurry red mist.
Still, the two explorations weren’t completely fruitless.
In a corner of the studio, she found a very thin notebook.
The cover read “Origin Blood Research Notes” in Blood Clan script.
She opened the first page and read quietly:
“Theoretically, there are only three ways to dispel an Original Blood Imprint: first, the caster actively withdraws it; second, the imprinted dies and the mark fades on its own; third, use a specific Removal Agent combined with a Purification Magic Circle.”
Next to the third line, there was a structural diagram of a magic circle with the required materials labeled:
Removal Agent, blood of the imprinted, and a single drop of pure blood from the caster.
Feng Ling stared at the diagram for a long time.
She already had the Removal Agent, and the imprinted’s blood was her own—easy to obtain.
But she still needed the caster’s pure blood, meaning she had to get a drop of blood from Ling Yue without her knowledge.
And it had to be freshly drawn from Ling Yue’s body…
That level of difficulty was about the same as stealing something directly from a Progenitor on full alert.
‘No, stealing a drop of blood is more thrilling than stealing a strand of hair.’
‘But is what’s written there really correct?’
‘Would Sister Ling Yue really leave such important information in a notebook this easy to find?’
‘Or does Sister Ling Yue think that even if I break the imprint, it won’t matter?’
“Hmm… Forget it! Whatever, I’ll try it first and see.”
She put the notebook back.
Just as she reached the top of the stairs, she heard a soft sound from downstairs.
It was the main door opening and closing.
Ling Yue was back early.
Feng Ling rushed to her room as fast as she could and jumped onto the bed.
When Ling Yue pushed the door open, she was carrying a black plastic bag.
“Nya, Xiao Fengling, your sister is back~”
“Welcome back.”
Feng Ling greeted her with a smile.
Ling Yue placed the black plastic bag on the nightstand, then reached out and ruffled her hair, asking:
“Were you good at home today?”
“Extra good. So good I want to give myself an award.”
“Mm-hm.”
Ling Yue took a small box out of the plastic bag and handed it to her.
“This is a gift for you.”
Feng Ling took it and opened it, finding another ribbon inside.
But the density of runes on this one was much higher than the last, and the instruction manual listed seven colors corresponding to seven emotions.
Besides the deep red, bright red, and pink she already knew, there was orange for anticipation, green for calm, blue for shyness, and…
The last one, purple, had its explanation covered by Ling Yue’s finger.
“What’s purple?”
Feng Ling tilted her head and asked.
“Secret. You’ll know when you turn purple someday~”
“I have a feeling this isn’t something good…”
“Whether it’s good or bad, you’ll judge for yourself when you turn purple.”
Ling Yue took the ribbon back from her hand and put it away in the box.
“No rush for now. We’ll test it tomorrow. Your sister still has other things to do.”
Then Ling Yue stood up, walked out of the room, and headed to the third floor.
Feng Ling waited until her footsteps had completely faded, then put down the controller.
She leaned back against her pillow and carefully thought about what Ling Yue had said…
‘If Ling Yue is reinforcing the barrier again, it means the outside threat is serious enough that even she’s worried the barrier might not hold.’
She turned over and buried her face in the pillow.
‘No, I can’t wait any longer.’
‘She has to get a drop of blood while Ling Yue is off guard…’
‘And for that, she needs an opportunity to get close to Ling Yue without arousing suspicion.’
‘And there are plenty of such opportunities in the “games” to come.’
