Lin Sheng, who had been staring blankly at his reflection in the mirror, snapped out of his daze at the sound behind him.

He quickly turned toward the door.

Standing there were Kaili and Serveyia, both with a fervent glow on their faces.

He looked around for water, but before he could move, Serveyia approached, holding out a glass.

“Princess, please drink.”

After finishing the glass of water, and feeling his throat much better, Lin Sheng finally managed to speak.

“How long… have I been asleep?”

Serveyia performed a complex and flawless maid’s bow, then leaned in close to Lin Sheng’s newly formed fox ear, whispering softly.

The warm breath tickled the fur, sending a jolt straight through Lin Sheng’s body.

“You!”

The electric sensation shot from the top of his head to the tip of his tail, making the nine fluffy tails behind him stand on end, even fluffier than before, like giant fans.

Although Lin Sheng desperately wanted to resist, listening to Serveyia’s long string of titles during her self-introduction made the whole thing feel like a dream.

Not to mention the “person who has served the Nine-tailed Celestial Fox for generations” part, just the phrase “First Imperial Princess of the Saint Dragon Kingdom” was enough to crush any thought of resistance.

It was… a pair of Stockings?

“Our Princess must put on Stockings before leaving.”

“What? Stockings? Me?”
