Chapter 6: Back to the Room

“Let go!”

Li Ruoxi struggled.

“You can’t escape my grasp. You’re just mine…”

“Vivian, after all these centuries, I didn’t expect you’d still be into this kind of thing.”

An incredibly handsome Western man, indescribably good-looking, with a tall, lean figure.

Li Ruoxi ran toward the building without looking back.

‘What’s going on… I don’t remember…’

Ignoring the pain, she quickly got up and ran desperately toward the building, gasping for breath.

Everywhere there were these inhuman beings, casually performing feats like breaking boulders on their chests, or flying and drilling through the earth, seemingly all-powerful.

A girl like her with no power for now… staying here was practically suicide!

‘Escape! I have to get out of here!’

This was the only thought in Li Ruoxi’s mind at that moment.

In the sky, Brooke said, “Vivian! You’re ruthless! Can’t read the room!”

Brooke screamed in pain, then his figure suddenly burst with terrifying speed and fled the estate grounds.

She stood inside the gate, half-crouching and panting.

From the touch, Li Ruoxi knew the wound was probably deep.

The amount of blood on her hand also indicated it was no ordinary cut.

‘If that had hit me head-on…’

“I… I’m coming…”

Li Ruoxi’s body stiffened.

Vivian picked up her blood-stained finger and gently put it in her mouth.

“Don’t… it’s… dirty…”

Li Ruoxi didn’t dare refuse, and her hand was directly controlled by the other.

Vivian’s eyes were still bloodshot.

After cleaning the blood from Li Ruoxi’s hand, she met her eyes.

“How did you find out?”

Brooke actually showed up after all.
