The corridor was long and silent, with only the sound of their footsteps.
One was the sound of elegant and composed leather shoes; the other was the faint sound of limbs rubbing together, accompanied by the ringing of a Bell.
Occasionally, the night wind blew through the window gaps, making a sobbing sound that added a bit of eeriness and shame.
After turning a corner, the vague sounds of talking, laughing, and footsteps suddenly came from ahead. Approaching from the distance, it was indeed the Maids who had sneaked out to drink at night!
Ilus’s blood almost froze. She stopped abruptly, her body stiffening in place, and the sound of the Bell came to a sudden halt.
“Why did you stop?”
Iliana looked back, her eyebrows slightly raised and a playful look in her eyes.
The Maids’ chatter and laughter grew closer, and they were about to appear around the corner.
The young girl’s heart beat like a drum. She swore that tomorrow morning, she would suggest her mother strictly investigate the Maids’ nighttime behavior.
At this critical moment, Iliana suddenly pulled the Silver Chain hard, dragging her into a half-open door nearby. It seemed to be a small storage room for cleaning tools.
In the cramped space, the smell of dust and moisture filled the air. Ilus was pressed tightly against the wall by Iliana. The Demon’s warm body was against her cold, trembling back. One hand covered her mouth, while the other was placed threateningly on the Collar.
The Maids passed by the door talking and laughing, their footsteps and conversation clearly audible.
“…Really? That new girl in the kitchen?”
“Yeah, she even sneaked me a piece of cake!”
“Hee hee, you better be careful. She might have a crush on you…”
The voices gradually faded away.
Ilus’s tense body relaxed slightly, but the hand covering her mouth did not let go. Iliana lowered her head, her lips almost pressed against her ear, and whispered in a voice only the two of them could hear:
“Hee hee, Miss, isn’t this thrilling? You were almost discovered…”
Her voice held Malice and pleasure.
“Guess what kind of expression they would have had if they had pushed the door open just now and saw the Duke’s Daughter they serve crawling on the ground like a little cat in heat?”
Warm breath puffed against her ear, but the content of the words made Ilus feel as if she had fallen into an ice cellar. A sense of shame accompanied by lingering fear surged over her, almost drowning her.
“If you’re going to leave, then leave. Don’t use those words to humiliate me anymore.”
Ilus lowered her voice, her eyes unable to hide her desire to kill Iliana.
Hearing Ilus’s slightly angry voice, Iliana wasn’t angry at all. Instead, she pushed the door open directly.
“Fine, Miss, as you wish.”
With that, Iliana pushed Ilus out somewhat roughly.
Ilus stumbled. When she steadied herself and looked up, she was instantly stunned. She saw the Maids from just now standing there; they hadn’t gone far!
For a moment, Ilus felt the world spinning. Everything seemed to be over. Her blood was rushing, and the girl’s cheeks burned red. She spoke before the Maids could say anything.
“That… I can explain. Actually, I—”
“Miss, what are you doing?”
Iliana tugged at the chain.
“Can’t you see they’re all drunk?”
“Hmm?”
Ilus looked closely. The light seemed to have indeed left their eyes, but they looked dazed rather than drunk. In fact, it looked more like… they were under Hypnosis?
Ilus turned around and happened to see the flash of Purple Light in the depths of Iliana’s eyes.
‘They really are hypnotized. Did Iliana arrange for them to come here?’
It was then that Ilus realized something. ‘So Iliana never intended to let anyone else see me from the very beginning.’
To the Demon, everything about Ilus belonged to her and would never be shown to outsiders.
Ilus’s breath almost stopped at that moment. Blood rushed to her head and then instantly receded, leaving behind a cold feeling of exhaustion.
This wasn’t a chance encounter; it was a carefully designed play staged solely to torment her mind.
“You…”
Ilus’s voice trembled slightly with anger and lingering fear, but even more so with a sense of humiliation from being completely seen through and unable to resist.
Her panic, despair, and even that tiny bit of hope just now had all fallen into the Demon’s calculations, becoming a joke to entertain her.
Iliana rubbed her head, her fingertips lingering as they brushed over her trembling lips. Her movements were as gentle as if she were handling a precious treasure, but her eyes held a strong sense of possessiveness.
“How could I bear to let others see such a cute side of you, Miss?”
She lowered her voice, every word like a hook scraping against Ilus’s eardrum.
“Miss, everything about you belongs only to me. As for the others, hmph, they don’t even have the right to look.”
Outside the door, the Maids turned as if pulled by invisible strings. Their movements were slightly stiff as they continued to stagger down the corridor, still muttering incoherent drunken words, as if that brief stop just now had been an illusion.
Iliana gave the Silver Chain a light tug, pulling the dazed Ilus back to her side.
“Don’t worry, Miss. We should continue our walk. There’s still plenty of space in the mansion, and tonight is quite long.”
Ilus was pulled by the chain and took a stumbling step.
The corridor fell back into silence. The muffled murmurs of the Maids in the distance grew fainter until they disappeared completely.
All that remained was the sobbing sound of the wind through the window and the constant ringing of the Bell around her neck.
Iliana didn’t walk fast; she could even be described as taking a leisurely stroll. The *tap, tap* of her leather shoes echoed regularly in the empty hallway.
Knowing the truth, Ilus’s mindset grew increasingly numb. What followed was much like she had guessed: even when they encountered Maids, they were all in a state of Hypnosis.
By the time Ilus was so exhausted she was about to collapse, the two of them finally returned to the bedroom door.
Iliana seemed to have completely adapted to her role as Master. She leaned over and gently patted Ilus’s rear.
“Alright, Miss, let’s go inside.”
Ilus was already completely powerless to resist this rude gesture. The soreness in her waist combined with the numbness in her legs made it so that moving required her to constantly wiggle her hips. She looked very much like Iliana’s loyal dog.
“Mm~ Such a good girl.”
Looking at Ilus in front of her, Iliana chuckled.
“Fine, I’ve completed the task you mentioned. Can you help me take this Collar off now?”
As soon as they returned to the room, Ilus impatiently tugged at the Collar on her neck.
“That won’t do, Miss. After all, it hasn’t reached the next day yet.”
After taking Ilus to wash up, Iliana picked up the girl and climbed into bed. She rubbed Ilus’s small head and took a deep breath.
“Let me relax tonight, Miss~”
As she spoke, her hand moved to her smooth back. This time, the technique was completely different from before, as if she were truly petting Ilus like a large cat.
The hand gradually moved downward… When it reached the lower back and slowly reached the curved area, Ilus’s entire body tensed up. But at that moment, a strange sensation suddenly came over her, causing her to instinctively arch her back.
Iliana’s hand paused, and a laughing whisper sounded in her ear.
“Miss really is like a cat. For a cat in heat, touching the area near the tail will make them actively raise their rear~”
“Is Miss… in heat too?~”
