The scorching kiss made Song Ning yank his hand back abruptly.
He rubbed her face hard, as if kneading a lump of unruly dough, and lowered his voice to scold:
“I don’t want anyone to talk about this, understand?!”
Qin Junyue, with her face being rubbed, wasn’t annoyed at all. Her voice was muffled:
“Is Young Master Song protecting me? Don’t you want to see me die?”
Without waiting for his answer, she pressed her delicate body forward, twisting her waist, and forcefully broke through Song Ning’s closed legs.
As a Second-Rank Martial Artist, even without using Internal Power, her body was far beyond an ordinary person’s resistance.
Song Ning’s knees were pushed apart, his legs forced open. Her entire body took advantage of the gap, squeezing in to kneel between his legs.
At first, she only tightly hugged Song Ning’s calves.
Later, her hands moved up to embrace his thighs.
Now, she had gone even further, forcing his legs apart, wrapping her arms around his waist, and pressing her face against his lower abdomen.
Unfortunately, Song Ning was not a Martial Artist, so he was completely powerless against Qin Junyue as his legs spread open.
He pushed her head— couldn’t move her. He kicked her body— couldn’t budge her.
He cursed her— she wasn’t angry.
Song Ning laughed in exasperation and slammed the table, saying sarcastically:
“Me protect you? I wouldn’t dare.”
“You’re a Second-Rank Martial Artist, a prominent figure in the Capital Camp. In the future, you’re bound to be promoted and appointed, maybe even enfeoffed and given a cabinet post, becoming a Regional Governor.”
“I’m just a blind man—I really wouldn’t dare protect you.”
Qin Junyue was completely unfazed by this sarcasm.
She even chuckled, moving her knees forward step by step, pressing her whole face against his lower abdomen.
Like a cat acting spoiled, or a dog being stubborn.
Her hair brushed against his clothes, and her breath sprayed onto his skin through the thin fabric.
“I told you last time: in the future, I’ll go through fire and water for you, do anything.”
“No matter what I become, I’ll listen to you.”
Song Ning suddenly cupped her face and said softly:
“Junyue, will you really listen to me?”
Qin Junyue nodded frantically, as if promptly expressing her loyalty.
A wave of unspeakable joy surged in her heart. All these years of secret love had accumulated into a torrential river that only pooled without draining, and today it finally found an outlet.
“Alright then, first, let go of my waist, okay?” Song Ning said gently.
But Qin Junyue shook her head frantically:
“That won’t do.”
Song Ning said angrily, “Didn’t you say you’d listen to me?!”
Did this woman ever speak the truth?
Just now she said “I’ll listen to you,” and now she’s going back on her word. Why is she so inconsistent?
“One thing at a time, Young Master Song.” Qin Junyue shook her head with a smile, looking up at the somewhat exasperated Song Ning.
“Aren’t you going to tell me to let this go, to pretend it never happened?”
She slowly shook her head, completely silencing Song Ning, and laughed:
“I can’t do that. Since Young Master Song has brought it up, I won’t let go.”
Song Ning secretly regretted it in his heart.
‘Maybe I made a mistake. I misjudged Qin Junyue.’
‘Tonight, my intention was to confirm whether this person was Qin Junyue.’
‘The other day, I held Qin Junyue’s hand. The touch was too similar— the clear knuckles, the prominent bones, exactly like that night’s hand.’
‘If this person isn’t Qin Junyue, then so be it. I’ll look for other suspects.’
‘Since that person did such a thing on the wedding night, they will definitely appear by my side again.’
‘After all, “culprits” like to visit their “crime scenes”—that’s human nature.’
‘But if this person really is Qin Junyue, then Song Ning thought it would be easier.’
‘I know her character well: humble, polite, loyal, and grateful.’
‘As long as I use the carrot and stick, give her a good scolding, keep this matter quiet first, and plan for the future.’
‘He thought he could control her, thought she would obey, thought she would follow his script.’
‘But Song Ning never expected that Qin Junyue’s demeanor in front of him before was all an act. She was utterly shameless, even daring to touch him, rubbing her face against his thigh.’
‘Now the priority is to retreat.’
‘In the dead of night, with no one around, I’m not a Martial Artist, completely powerless. If this continues, who knows what she’ll do next?’
“Let’s end it here tonight.” Song Ning lowered his voice, trying to maintain authority.
“Dare to leak a single word…”
Before he could finish, he suddenly felt a strange sensation.
Something was gnawing at his belt.
The belt was loosening bit by bit, the buckle making a faint clicking sound.
He was stunned for a moment, then immediately realized that Qin Junyue was using her teeth to undo his belt.
“You!” Song Ning angrily reached out to push her head, pressing his palm against her forehead and pushing outward.
But she didn’t budge. He pushed again—still no movement. She just wouldn’t let go.
“What are you doing?! Are you a dog?!” His voice was very low, but the anger in that low tone was more frightening than a loud shout. “Let go! Do you hear me?! Qin Junyue, are you crazy?!”
Tonight, the moon was pale, the wind clear, and the night cool as water.
But Song Ning never expected her to be so bold, daring to do something like this with him at such a time?!
Qin Junyue held the belt in her teeth, tilted her head up, the corners of her mouth slightly raised, her smile especially rogue in the moonlight.
“If you don’t want me to leak it, why not give me some benefit, husband?”
Song Ning’s mind buzzed.
“Can you not call me that?!” His voice rose a few notes, then he quickly lowered it, afraid of alerting Xia Ling and Xia Shuang in the distance.
“When have I ever been your husband?!”
Qin Junyue blinked, looking innocent:
“Didn’t we perform the matrimonial act?”
“You can’t just call me that!” Song Ning’s face reddened with anger.
“Let go now, or I’ll call someone!”
Qin Junyue clearly knew her limits.
She could touch Song Ning and act shameless, but if he actually called Xia Shuang, she would have no choice.
After all, in the long run, this matter couldn’t be blown out of proportion.
Qin Junyue reluctantly let go of the belt, but her hands still wrapped around his waist, not releasing.
She looked up at Song Ning’s flushed face, feeling both sour and sweet in her heart:
“Don’t blame me. I actually have a reason.”
Song Ning sneered: “What reason? Are you pent up?”
Qin Junyue asked: “Tonight, is Qi Chuyao staying at your place?”
Song Ning said brusquely: “What nonsense are you talking? I married her, so of course she lives with me.”
Qin Junyue’s lips formed a tight line, and she muttered:
“Then don’t give her any, and don’t kiss her.”
“Don’t give her a single drop.”
