Chapter 50: Meng Lingneng

The blond Witch shook her head, seemingly feeling a deep sense of pity for Su Ling.

She slowly stood up.

“Lady Meng Lingneng!”

Shao Hua led the remnants of her squad to stand before Meng Lingneng.

Meng Lingneng glanced around, her brow furrowing as she took in the scorched and messy scene surrounding them.

“How did it get this way? Why wasn’t the appearance of the Zerg reported to me?”

Shao Hua’s face was filled with embarrassment.

However, Meng Lingneng quickly figured it out and let out a cold sneer.

“Heh, that wretched girl is already married, yet she’s still such a bastard.”

“Forget it, this isn’t your fault. Compile a list of the personnel who were sacrificed and report it to Fengdu. As for the costs for their physical bodies, I’ll cover it.”

Especially Shao Hua.

Because this potentially involved the Royal Family of the Zerg and a Great Witch who had seemingly defected after becoming involved with them, Su Yao and Su Ling—as Bai Wei’s wife and daughter—were naturally the most important subjects of concern.

Hearing this, Wen Ruyu breathed a sigh of relief.

She shook her head, her face filled with nothing but disdain for Bai Wei.

Shao Hua nodded hurriedly.

“If you want a divorce, then get a divorce. I didn’t support what happened between you two from the start anyway. What era is this? Why are we still doing the whole forced marriage thing?”

Wen Ruyu stared blankly at Meng Lingneng, who lay back down again.

At the same time, a golden whip materialized in Meng Lingneng’s hand, and she lashed it hard against Meng Dalei, who was still hanging from the ceiling.
