Chapter 35: Desire

The next day, Feng Ling was jolted awake by a sudden, intense craving.

She scrambled off the bed, stumbled to the door, and yanked it open to find Ling Yue standing outside holding a cup.

“Good morning, Xiao Fengling, thirsty, right? This is for you.”

Then Feng Ling snatched the cup and downed it in one gulp.

But it wasn’t enough… one cup was nowhere near enough.

She fixed Ling Yue with her blood-red eyes and said, “I need more.”

Ling Yue tilted her head, a slow smile spreading across her lips.

“Now, Xiao Fengling, your eyes seem different today~”

“I need more!”

Feng Ling shouted.

“Alright, alright, your big sister will give it to you…”

Ling Yue sliced open a wound on her wrist, where a sweet, nectar-like liquid flowed, and brought it to Feng Ling’s mouth.

Feng Lung lunged forward, sinking her teeth into the wound and drinking frantically.

The feeling of blood rushing down her throat was even stronger than yesterday… several times stronger.

Each drop was like a tiny bomb exploding inside her, blasting that sense of satisfaction deep into every cell.

“Complete… transformation?”

Ling Yue’s fingers slid from Feng Ling’s cheek to her neck, then down to her collarbone.
