As the 6 Berserkers donned their respective armors, their gear and weapons seemed to be “activated” as if by magic.
Solk’s runes lit up, and his body was seemingly engulfed in flames.
The broken axe in his hand merged with the Burning Destroyer, and it immediately burst into fire.
After Soraka put on the Frost Scar, her expression grew cold, and the chill radiating from the armor intensified.
Frost Bite and Frost Eater merged with her twin axes, turning them into ice axes so frigid that they seemed to freeze the air itself.
Sigma, who appeared thin and small, moved with nimble grace after equipping the Immovable Mountain, his speed and strength both significantly enhanced.
The earth-attribute runes on his Earth Vein glowed, signaling that Sigma had gained the power to manipulate earth elements.
When Yinxingren donned the Whirlwind, the armor vanished, as did the runes.
He gripped the poleaxe Spine Breaker, and the weapon disappeared from sight as well.
Selim equipped Thousand Peaks and immediately harnessed the power of thunder.
Her previous timid demeanor vanished entirely; she now carried the aura of a thunder god, and every weapon on her person pulsed with lightning.
Finally, it was Rolshka’s turn.
When he put on the black battle armor, the design changed completely, covering him from head to toe.
The helmet shifted into a full-face mask, the shoulder and arm guards sprouted spikes, black mist billowed from the tattered battle skirt, and thorns emerged from his boots.
The sword and shield in his hands turned even more sinister, emitting thick black smoke and appearing incredibly dangerous.
Seeing this, Grishka shook his head and sighed: “So, the lad chose this path after all…”
Kirshka asked her father, Prushka: “Papa, why does Brother look like a completely different person?”
Prushka remained silent, unsure of how to explain.
It was not yet the time for her to know the truth.
Prushka’s heart was undoubtedly filled with sorrow, for the condition to summon the Eternal King required the sacrifice of a life.
He had not expected that person to be his own son.
Prushka stroked Kirshka’s head and whispered gently: “He is fine. He has a battle he must fight, for the sake of his beloved, and for our entire village.”
Kirshka nodded in approval: “Big Brother will surely become a great hero!”
Prushka replied: “Yes, he is already a hero.”
The Eternal King addressed the people of the Blacksmith Village: “Your task is to stay hidden. I will lead all the Berserkers to crusade against Dolaichut!”
Grishka said: “Respected Eternal King! We will forever remember the grace shown by you and Lady Lillian!”
The Eternal King looked at Grishka and said sternly: “There is no need. Just remember the name Rolshka; it was his wish that summoned me!”
Lillian added: “We are in a partnership, so there is no need to speak of grace. You owe me nothing, and I have bestowed no favor upon you.”
Grishka and the blacksmiths were moved, and they bowed in gratitude to the Eternal King and Lillian.
The Eternal King gave the order: “Warriors, follow me! To Dolaichut’s Castle! Annihilate him! Take back the Holy Sword and Marishka!”
Lillian and Eileen exchanged glances.
Eileen said to Lillian: “I do not have much time left. I should have about 2 hours, so we must deal with that madman as quickly as possible.”
Lillian nodded and said: “I will find a way.”
The Eternal King and his warriors arrived before the ice-sculpted castle, where a few dwarves who had betrayed the village to join Dolaichut stood guard.
They had dropped their Blacksmith’s Hammers, donned inferior armor, and were holding poor-quality halberds while sleeping at the gate, looking quite ridiculous.
Solk stepped forward and shouted: “Open the gate!”
With his roar, heat erupted from his helmet, followed by a torrent of flames that struck the castle gate.
The pitiful guards scattered in terror.
When the fire hit the gate, a purple glow of Mana appeared.
“That is a defense barrier. Ordinary attacks cannot break it,” Eileen said.
Lillian wondered what she could do.
Suddenly, Selim stepped forward, throwing 4 flying axes that pinned themselves into the 4 corners of the barrier.
She drew Needle Gleam and threw it at the center of the barrier, triggering a violent surge of lightning that nearly struck Lillian.
The purple defense barrier was shattered by the electrical power.
As the barrier vanished, Selim raised a hand to retrieve all her flying axes, which snapped back into their respective slots on her armor.
Soraka rushed the gate with her twin axes, cleanly delivering a cross-slash that left deep marks on the door.
She followed up with a kick that blew the door open.
The breach was a success.
One had to realize that an ordinary castle gate could not be broken so easily.
That Soraka destroyed it with one strike and a single kick showed not only her immense strength but also that her axes were both razor-sharp and incredibly durable.
Lillian marveled: “They look so strong. Can I learn a few moves from them?”
Eileen said: “That depends on your talent, doesn’t it? If you can learn just by watching, that would be a good thing.”
Lillian shook her head: “Oh, I lack that kind of talent. I’ll just wait for Teacher Eileen to teach me~”
Eileen replied: “Now is not the time for idle chatter.”
The Eternal King said to Sigma: “You take the lead, as you can withstand any attack and are the warrior with the highest defense among us.”
Sigma nodded in acceptance.
Though he could not speak, he always let his actions do the talking.
Sigma never offered unnecessary explanations; he simply got the job done.
The Eternal King said to Yinxingren: “Yinxingren, go and scout the situation. Only the 6 of us can perceive your position, so go and lead the way.”
“As you wish, my King.”
Yinxingren’s voice sounded like that of an elegant gentleman.
However, since he remained completely invisible, no one knew what he looked like.
As he departed, a whirlwind surged into Dolaichut’s Castle.
Lillian did not know what this meant; was it the trail of Yinxingren’s movement?
“Everyone, form up and advance. Sigma at the front, with me at the center. Solk, stand to my right; Soraka, stand to my left; Selim, take the rear. Advance in a cross formation!”
The 5 Berserkers instantly formed a cross.
A link of Mana formed between them, using the Eternal King’s black aura as a conduit.
Eileen felt that this aura was very familiar.
But she could not recall where she had seen it before.
In any case, it seemed to be a force of great instability.
