Old City District, Mountain Area of a Village.
After a period of hiding and running, Eno finally found a decently concealed hiding spot.
It was a cave, not very deep—maybe only a few dozen meters.
After tossing the three men and two women she’d brought back to the side, she began to look around the cave.
The dampness here made Eno rather uncomfortable.
But her strength had pretty much recovered over this period anyway, so she could afford to waste a bit more mana to modify the cave.
She frowned and pondered for a while, then reached out to touch the rock wall.
Pink slime spread from her palm, eventually covering the entire cave.
The originally pitch-black cave now took on a bizarre shade of pink.
Eno inspected the newly transformed cave and nodded in satisfaction.
This should do. Though it couldn’t compare to her previous lodgings, at least it was a place to settle down.
After finishing everything, she returned to the cave entrance. Looking at the tightly bound group, a faint smile appeared at the corner of her lips.
These five people were the promising seeds she had found.
Though their magical talent wasn’t even one ten-thousandth of Vivi’s, for her current needs, they were already good enough.
With elegant steps, she approached the group. Seeing the fear on their faces, she felt a rush of delight.
“Oh my, oh my, what are you all so afraid of? From now on, we’ll be the same kind, you know. You should be happy about that.”
As she spoke, a blob of pink slime slowly formed and floated before a girl’s eyes.
“Come on, open your mouth.”
The girl met her gaze with stubbornness, her eyes like knives. Even though she was scared, she refused to submit to this monster.
Eno’s eyes narrowed, and a dangerous curve appeared on her lips.
“Little one, this isn’t up to you.”
As soon as she finished speaking, the pink slime, which had been spherical, seemed to come alive and crawled onto the girl’s cheek.
The girl tried to resist, but her body was tightly restrained, and despite clenching her teeth, the pink slime found its way in through the tiniest of gaps.
The girl’s eyes widened, her body trembling uncontrollably. The slime merged completely with her, and she slumped down limply.
Her originally black long hair was now tinged with light blue.
“Ahahaha, that’s it. Welcome to the world of Slime Girls.”
The transformation stopped. Where the five captives had been bound, now stood five adorable Slime Girls.
They were still rather fragile in their freshly formed state, but that wasn’t a problem.
Eno had plenty of ways to make them grow rapidly. Next, she would have to hunt down the little runaway Slime Girl.
She licked her lips, feeling a thrill just thinking about Vivi’s petite figure.
The finest Slime, with boundless potential for growth. Even the firearms of this world would be nothing to fear once she matured.
As long as Vivi was fully transformed into a Slime Girl, she could turn the whole world into a paradise for Slime Girls.
Just imagining such a thing made her excited.
She could hardly wait—she really wanted to catch Vivi now and train her personally.
But before that, she needed to make some preparations.
Eno frowned in thought for a while. Vivi had already come into contact with Irena.
And Vivi’s situation was special—she hadn’t been completely transformed. For Eno, that counted as a threat.
At first, Eno just thought it was because Vivi was an exceptional Slime Girl, but thinking back, it was probably connected to her inner obsession.
To turn Vivi completely into a Slime Girl, she’d have to sever those attachments in her heart.
Her original parents, friends, lovers—any of these could be the source of her attachment.
Eno furrowed her brow in deep thought, muttering “attachments” under her breath.
For now, she had no clue. Back when she probed Vivi’s memories, her attention had all been on learning about this world; she hadn’t cared about that detail at all.
Not good.
Maybe all she could do was catch Vivi first and plan afterward.
She let out a helpless sigh. If Vivi was cooperating with Irena now, catching her would be like reaching for the stars.
With her current strength, Eno didn’t dare go head-to-head with human firearms for long.
She didn’t know how many of those bullets they had; it felt endless.
And the world’s mana was extremely scarce—once her magic was used up, she couldn’t replenish it quickly.
Even if she was powerful, she wouldn’t be able to withstand a barrage of bullets.
She might have looked cool tanking bullets earlier.
In reality, those few shots hurt her a lot.
If she gave Irena a little more time, she feared Irena would develop anti-magic bullets.
A Slime Hunter’s weapons, whether staff or melee, were all especially effective against Slime Girls.
Such weapons were called Anti-Magic Weapons in their world. If Irena managed to apply those materials to bullets, it’d be extremely dangerous for Eno.
Now it was a race against time between her and Irena to see who could seize the greater advantage first.
Vivi was absolutely the key to this plan.
Eno racked her brain. Her eyes drifted to the corner, where some belongings had been piled up.
Those were the personal items of the people before they were transformed: phones, keys, and even a cartoon figurine.
Eno frowned. She had seen this before—seemed like it was some two-dimensional character or something.
Eno looked at herself, then at the freshly transformed little ones nearby. Suddenly, an idea flashed through her mind.
Picking up one of the phones, she began searching, a sinister smile forming at the corner of her lips.
She might have found a way to blend into human society. In a sense, they counted as two-dimensional themselves now.
And genuine Slime Girls at that.

Evening, Prosperous South Street Plaza.
No one knew what occasion it was, but there was a small Anime Convention here today. Vivi just happened to pass by after work.
The place was filled with all sorts of anime cosplays. For such a small county, it had the flair of a big city.
Vivi was a bit curious, so she stopped to watch for a while.
Honestly, it was pretty interesting.
However, in a corner where Vivi wasn’t paying attention, a few girls had already set their sights on her.
Eno, having changed her appearance, watched Vivi with great interest, seeing how defenseless she was.
In her mind, she was already planning to train this little loli to become her very own little sister.
Vivi’s gaze happened to land on Eno for a moment, her expression half-smile, half-serious. It was clear she was in a good mood.
The lively atmosphere around her was completely infectious.
She even spotted a few familiar anime characters—it was from a series she used to watch with her little sister.
She thought of going up to ask for a photo, but then a few girls approached and blocked her way.
All of them were dressed as Slime Girls. Though it wasn’t clear which characters they were cosplaying, they were quite pleasing to the eye.
Vivi didn’t pay much attention and tried to go around them to ask someone for a photo, but was stopped again.
