“Duanglas!”
As soon as Lilith’s voice fell, Duanglas, who had been waiting outside the door, immediately responded and walked in.
Dressed in a neatly pressed servant’s uniform, he looked especially composed.
He bent slightly at the waist and bowed.
“What is your command, Your Majesty?”
“Take these two little ones out for a walk, let them play a bit.”
Lilith smiled and pointed at Yiyi and Lilia, who were still clinging to each other on the sofa, her gaze carrying a trace of fond, helpless affection.
“Yes.”
Duanglas acknowledged, then looked up at the two little dumplings and spoke gently, “Your Highnesses, please come with me.”
“Alright—Yiyi, let’s go.”
Lilia immediately jumped up from the sofa, reaching out to grab Yiyi’s hand, her eyes still carrying a hint of spoiled mischief as her fingertips quietly brushed against Yiyi’s palm.
Yiyi was pulled up, cheeks still tinged with an unyielding blush.
The heart-shaped tip of her tail, hidden beneath her dress, swayed nervously as she mumbled softly, “Slow down, don’t pull so hard…”
Even as she said this, she didn’t actually let go, and her mind kept replaying that tingling, numbing feeling at her neck from earlier.
Both embarrassed and flustered—it was clear she should have refused that “bite,” yet now, being led by the hand, she somehow felt a little grounded.
The three of them had just left the office when Lilia couldn’t help but lean close to Yiyi’s ear, her voice lowered to a near whisper with a mischievous smile: “Yibao, let’s find a place where no one is around later, let me bite you again~”
“No way, you’ve already bitten me so many times. I’m not letting you do it again.”
“I was just teasing you.”
Lilia laughed as she ruffled Yiyi’s hair, her eyes full of sly light.
Her fingertips secretly hooked against Yiyi’s palm, as if hiding a trace of genuine, little anticipation from earlier.
Yiyi’s cheeks grew hot, and she hurriedly pulled her hand away, but after just two steps, she unconsciously slowed down.
When Lilia caught up, she quietly nudged her small hand toward Lilia’s side.
Her heart was in chaos—she should have decisively avoided it just now, but when her fingertips were hooked, it felt a bit sweet, even making her secretly hope for Lilia to “tease” her again.
Duanglas walked ahead, catching a glimpse of the two little ones’ “saying no but meaning yes” antics from the corner of his eye.
He couldn’t help but curve his lips into a smile, slowing his pace even further to give them plenty of room to whisper.
“Where are we going to play later?”
Lilia tilted her head, her sparkling eyes fixed on Yiyi, her tone soft and coaxing.
Yiyi avoided her gaze, muttering in a small voice, “Anywhere is… fine…”
But the tip of her heart-shaped tail, hidden under her dress, swayed lightly, betraying her anticipation.
“Then let’s go to the cake shop!”
Lilia’s eyes lit up as she shook Yiyi’s hand, unable to hide her excitement: “I want to feed you cake~ Yibao.”
As soon as she said this, Lilia’s own face reddened, unlike her usual playful self.
Instead, she was a little shy and flustered.
Yiyi stiffened all over, her cheeks instantly burning even hotter. She mumbled, “W-Who wants you to feed…”
But a hint of sweetness quietly bloomed inside her, like a layer of sugar powder sprinkled over her heart.
Her steps, too, honestly followed Lilia forward.
A short while later, the three of them were standing in front of the “Honey Fragrance Cottage” at the street corner.
Warm yellow light spilled from the windows, shining over the display of various cakes.
The rich scent of butter and cream drifted out from the door crack, tickling their senses.
Lilia tugged Yiyi and rushed inside, Duanglas following closely behind.
At the counter, he picked up the menu and handed it to Yiyi, speaking gently: “Your Highness Yiyi, see if there’s anything you’d like to eat?”
“Cream one, I guess. Lilia, aren’t you choosing?”
Yiyi pinched the menu and looked up at Lilia beside her, her cheeks still tinged pink.
“I’m a bloodkin, I can’t eat this kind of food.”
Lilia smiled and shook her head, her eyes glinting with slyness.
“That’s why I’m here just to feed you~”
The proprietress quickly brought out a plate of cream cake, with snowy white cream piled up like little clouds, a bright red cherry on top, and a sprinkling of fine sugar powder.
Lilia immediately picked up a small spoon, scooped up a bit of cake with cream, and held it up to Yiyi’s mouth, her eyes bright as crystals: “Yibao, try it! It’s sure to be sweet!”
Yiyi hesitated for a moment, then gently opened her mouth.
The creamy sweetness melted on her tongue, but what really made her heart race was when Lilia’s fingertips brushed the corner of her lips as she offered the spoon, like a jolt of electricity overlapping with that tingling sensation at her neck from earlier.
Her hand clutching her skirt tightened unconsciously, her heart a jumbled mess.
She knew she should resist this kind of intimacy, but watching Lilia’s focused expression made her feel especially safe.
“I’d rather do it myself, Lilia, this feels weird.”
Yiyi said, reaching to take the spoon from Lilia, her cheeks as red as ripe cherries.
The tingling sensation from the corner of her lips still hadn’t faded, and being fed at such close range made her heartbeat almost impossible to keep up.
But Lilia dodged to the side, not letting her take the spoon.
Her eyes flashed with a hint of aggrieved softness as she spoke: “It’s not weird, I just want to feed you, Yibao~ Look, the cake is so soft. If I feed you, you won’t get your mouth messy.”
“But I… mmph…”
Yiyi had just started to speak again when her mouth was stopped by the cake Lilia brought over.
The creamy sweetness instantly melted on her tongue, and the rest of her words were swallowed down.
Seeing her obediently eat, Lilia’s eyes curved like little crescents, her voice soft and gentle: “All you have to do is open your mouth, Yiyi, I’ll feed you, and I promise you won’t get your pretty dress dirty~”.
With that, she scooped up another spoonful of cake, carefully bringing it to Yiyi’s lips, this time moving especially slowly.
Her fingertips pressed tightly to the edge of the spoon, worried she might accidentally brush Yiyi’s lips again, but didn’t notice that her own cheeks were flushed as well, carrying a trace of nervousness and anticipation as she fed her.
Yiyi chewed the cake, her face hot enough to steam, letting Lilia feed her spoonful by spoonful.
Duanglas sat at a nearby table, sipping hot tea, his gaze occasionally drifting over to the two little ones.
Seeing Yiyi looking bashful but not really pushing Lilia away, and Lilia feeding her with such care, he couldn’t help but smile softly, silently slowing down his tea-sipping pace to give them more space for their own private intimacy.
Halfway through feeding, Lilia scooped up the cherry from the top and held it to Yiyi’s mouth, her voice dropping to a near whisper, full of mischief: “Yibao, try this cherry~ Once you finish, let’s go to the little room next door, okay? No one will be there, and I want… to gently bite you again, just like before. I promise I won’t hurt you~”
Yiyi froze, the cherry still not swallowed, and mumbled through her mouthful,“Y-You’re always thinking about that…” Yet the tip of her heart-shaped tail, hidden under her skirt, couldn’t help but sway lightly.
She sneaked a look up and saw Lilia’s eyes full of anticipation, like a little beast begging for food.
All the resistance in her heart was scattered at once.
She knew she ought to say no, but just thinking of that tingling, numbing feeling on her neck, and Lilia’s soft, clingy demeanor when she was acting spoiled, made her reluctant to refuse.
