“I’ll get the door.” The sudden doorbell interrupted Qi Yun’s train of thought. She put down her chopsticks, got up, and walked to the door, peering through the peephole to see who was ringing the bell.
Only the two sisters lived in this home—a vulnerable demographic, an ideal location for criminals. So, they had to be careful at all times.
Qi Yun saw it was Hu Xiaoyu, the young security guard from the residential complex. Only then did she feel at ease and opened the door.
“Brother Xiaoyu, what’s the matter?”
Looking at the sweet smile of the beauty before him, Hu Xiaoyu was momentarily dazed. It took him a long time to snap back to reality.
“Brother Xiaoyu?” Qi Yun’s delicate brows furrowed slightly. ‘What’s wrong with this guy? He rings the bell, then just stands there staring without saying a word.’
“Oh, oh. There’s someone outside looking for you.”
“Who?”
“He said his surname is Qin, that he’s your friend. He told me to tell you ‘Tianxia Wushuang has arrived,’ and you’d understand.” Those four words—Tianxia Wushuang—struck Qi Yun’s heart like a bolt of lightning.
Her pupils contracted, her eyes filled with panic.
Seeing her unusual reaction, Hu Xiaoyu asked anxiously, “What’s wrong? Is that person here to cause trouble?”
“No, no, no,” Qi Yun quickly denied.
“He’s my friend. Thank you for your trouble, Brother Xiaoyu.”
“Alright, then. I’ll go back and let him through. There are quite a few people with him, so be careful. If anything seems off, call me right away.” Qi Yun nodded with a slight smile. “Okay.”
Hu Xiaoyu left. He had wanted to ask what her relationship with that man was, but considering he and Qi Yun were merely acquaintances who happened to meet, asking such a question out of the blue wasn’t appropriate.
So, he held back.
Returning to the security booth, he raised the barrier, but only allowed the first car to enter.
Qin Wushuang didn’t object. The person had been found, so it didn’t matter where the bodyguards were.
“Miss Qi Yun is in the east apartment building, fifth floor, unit 503.”
“Thank you.” Qin Wushuang gave Hu Xiaoyu a nod and got into the car with two bodyguards.
Watching the black business sedan slowly drive into the complex, Hu Xiaoyu, as if his soul had left him, walked back into the security booth and slumped into his chair.
“Wow, they really are friends. Looks like the Qi sisters have really latched onto a rich guy and are about to enter a wealthy family.” Hearing the obvious mockery in his colleague’s tone, Hu Xiaoyu frowned, deeply displeased. He turned and glared. “If you don’t know how to talk, then don’t talk.”
“Uh…” Seeing Hu Xiaoyu’s ugly expression, the colleague seemed to realize something and shut his mouth resentfully.
Not long after, the police arrived.
Hu Xiaoyu hurriedly explained it was all a misunderstanding, and that was the end of it.
—
After Hu Xiaoyu left, Qi Yun closed the door in a daze. ‘What should I do?’
Big Brother Wushuang had come looking for her. And he came personally.
‘How am I supposed to hide from this?’
In a trance, she returned to the dining table, picked up her chopsticks, and grabbed a piece of meat. She froze for a moment, then put them down again.
“Sis, what’s wrong with you? Did a ghost possess you when you opened the door?” Seeing her older sister looking like she’d lost her soul, Qi You curiously asked.
Qi Yun put down her chopsticks and sighed.
“Ah… Big Brother Wushuang is here. He’s downstairs right now.”
“Holy shit!!!” Qi You was so startled she dropped her chopsticks.
“How did that jerk find us?”
“When I joined Wushuang Lou and filled out the form before, I wrote down our complex’s address.”
“This…” Qi You was speechless.
“So, sis, what are you going to do?”
Qi Yun held her head in her hands, not knowing what to do either.
He had come to their doorstep. She had nowhere to hide.
“I don’t know either. Maybe you can think of a way?”
The corner of Qi You’s mouth twitched. She was also at a loss for words.
There were ways, but that man already knew where they lived. They could hide today, but not forever. What to do?
‘What to do?’
Plus, given their current financial situation, it clearly didn’t support moving to another apartment, unless they wanted to become homeless and never come back.
Thinking it over, it seemed the only path left was to face him directly.
“Sis, why don’t you go see him? Be direct and clear. That little bitch Delicate Jade Hands in the guild likes him anyway. Let them pair up.”
“I…” Qi Yun lightly bit her lip, hesitating.
Qi You immediately grew anxious. “Sis, do you still have feelings for him?”
Qi Yun remained silent, answering with her quietness.
Seeing this, Qi You’s pink fist under the table unconsciously clenched tightly.
She thought these past few days together, plus her intentional and unintentional psychological hints, would make her older sister change her mind.
It seemed she had been too naive.
“Sis, you know I can’t be without you.” Qi You came behind Qi Yun and gently wrapped her arms around her neck.
“Xiao You, you’re…”
“Shh~” Qi You raised her left hand, placing her index finger against Qi Yun’s lips.
“Sis, listen to me first.”
“I know this is unfair to you. I’ve tried so hard to forget you, but I can’t.” As her words reached an emotional depth, Qi You closed her eyes, revealing a pained expression, and hugged her neck tighter.
“When you got angry and left, I felt like the sky had collapsed. For a moment, I thought about turning on the gas to end my life. But then I thought, if I died, I’d never see my beloved sister again. I couldn’t bring myself to do it. So, I leaned against the door, waiting and waiting, until I somehow fell asleep.” Qi Yun’s brows furrowed tightly.
“I’m not saying this to threaten you. If—I’m saying if—Sis, you really must do this, if you won’t give up on that man… then your little sister can only accompany you. How about biological sisters serving one husband together?”
This sentence finally made Qi Yun snap. She grabbed Qi You’s wrist, pulled her down face-first over her own lap.
“Sis?” Qi You was utterly confused.
Whap~ But the answer was a crisp sound.
Qi Yun slapped her butt, furious. “You brat! I’ve worked so hard to raise you all these years, and you just talk about dying? Think that’s cool? Very dashing, huh? Damn it, have you ever thought about how your sister would feel?”
After saying that, she slapped her again.
Qi You clenched her teeth tightly. The intense stimulation made her pretty face flush a deep red, her eyes brimming with springtime longing.
“And ‘sisters serving one husband’? Qi You, how come I never discovered you were so talented before?” Qi Yun continued.
“Sis, even if you beat me to death today, I’m still going to do this.” Qi You looked at her with a stubborn expression, yet her eyes were filled with longing.
“You… Fine.”
Whap, whap, whap! Several sounds rang out as Qi Yun unleashed her skill—Lianhuan Palm.
The intense stimulation came wave after wave. Qi You could no longer hold back. She parted her pearly teeth and let out a moan. “Mmm~”
Qi Yun’s hand stopped in mid-air. She looked at her little sister with a strange expression. ‘Did this girl just… moan?’
Qi You quickly shut her mouth. She knew that sound would definitely make her older sister think she was a BT.
‘What to do?’
She rapidly searched for a solution.
In a moment, she thought of a plan: take it one step at a time.
Well, there was no other way. She could only do this.
“Ah~ Sis, stop hitting me! My butt’s gone numb already, boo hoo hoo…” Qi You cried, looking utterly pitiful and tear-stained.
Qi Yun: -_-
‘This girl… it’s a real shame she didn’t go into acting.’
