“Huh?”
When Letia saw Ella bowing slightly, her first reaction was suspicion.
Given the current circumstances and her own perceptions, Letia naturally didn’t believe Ella’s claim.
If she wasn’t Litt, then who was?
Could there really be someone else?
Letia let out a cold snort in her heart at the thought.
‘It couldn’t possibly be me, right?’
‘How could that be…!!’
“Perhaps what you don’t know, Letia, is that I only joined the White Church recently. It just so happens that I’m somewhat similar to the character of Litt that you’ve been playing.”
“How is that possible?”
Letia spread her hands.
“I know you’re very calculating, Miss Litt. You don’t have to put on an act with me. Let’s speak plainly. In a few days, I probably won’t be able to disguise myself as you anyway, so you don’t need to be in such a hurry to come and hold me accountable.”
Letia’s words actually left Ella at a loss for a moment.
But she quickly cleared her head, bowed slightly, and spoke to Letia.
“I am sorry, but the facts are different from what you’ve guessed, Letia. I am not human, and I am certainly not Litt.”
As she spoke, Ella pulled up her sleeve, revealing fair and delicate skin.
While Letia watched with confusion and doubt, Ella reached out and gently peeled back a layer of her skin.
Following that, ball-shaped joints—the hallmark of a Magical Doll—were revealed to Letia.
“As you can see, I am a Magical Doll, and I was only manufactured one week ago. Rather than saying you are imitating me, it would be more accurate to say that I am imitating your appearance.”
“Master Otto has already told me about your situation, so I can also guarantee to you that I am not Litt.”
“???”
Letia felt like spreading her hands and displaying a row of question marks.
However, she quickly regained her composure.
Since Otto had told this Magical Doll named Ella about her own situation, did that mean…
Ella might also know something about the Real Litt?
Thinking of this, Letia’s expression became excited once again.
“Then you must know who the real Litt is and where she is, right?!”
At this moment, Letia had a very strange feeling, like she was on the last big question of a math exam and was just one step away from calculating the final answer.
That inexplicable excitement and pleasure made her tone a bit more agitated.
“Can you tell me? I really want to see what kind of person this Litt actually is!”
However, upon hearing this, Ella fell silent.
Then, under Letia’s watchful gaze, the other girl slowly extended a finger and pointed at…
Her.
“Ha?”
Letia, still refusing to believe it, moved a bit to the side, but Ella’s finger followed her as if attracted by a magnet.
“Hahaha, this is a joke, right?”
Letia put on the smile of a bright and cheerful little girl.
“Ella, you must be joking, right?”
Ella only shook her head.
Letia fell completely silent, but even so, she still tried to confirm with some lingering hope.
“Then… could there be someone named Litt hiding somewhere in the White Church that even you don’t know about?”
Ella shook her head once more.
“Hehe… Hehe…”
At this point, Letia finally recognized reality.
She knelt on the ground, recalling the descriptions in the Script and everything she had done at the beginning.
She murmured, unsure whether she was angry or grief-stricken.
“What do you mean I’m Red’s Bright Moonlight?!”
“There’s something wrong with this damn Script, isn’t there?!”
Especially when she remembered how hard she had worked to play the role of Litt and all the mushy, sickening things she had said to Red… her heart felt a wave of despair, and that feeling was slowly transforming into a deep murderous intent.
How could this feeling be described?
It was like you excitedly bought a set of women’s clothes, put them on in your bedroom, did your makeup, and just as you were about to admire yourself, your closest, best brother accidentally burst in.
Who could understand this deep sense of despair?
At this point, the only option was to silence the witness, right?
She had to silence him, right?!
Letia held her head, covered her ears, and squatted in the corner.
She felt a lot like a certain member of the Rabbit Squad from her previous life.
Just because she said, ‘I hate adults like you the most,’ she was teased for a lifetime.
And if Red found out that the character of Litt didn’t exist at all, that she had been playing the part, and that she had said so many mushy things to him… that guy would definitely tease her for a lifetime too!
‘What did Letia mean by “Script”? And I feel like her expression is a bit scary right now…’
Listening to Letia’s self-muttering, Ella tilted her head in confusion.
“However, although there is no one named Litt in the White Church, I know of someone who is very similar to the Litt you portrayed. As for her appearance… Litt might be a bit younger than her, but their personalities are indeed very similar.”
“Who is it?”
The spark of hope ignited once more in Letia’s heart.
What if?
What if that person, like her, was also using a fake name to get close to Red?
Anyway, Litt could be anyone, but it absolutely could not be herself!!
“The former Holy Maiden of the White Church—Yelena.”
Ella slowly spoke the name, but before Letia could feel happy, she continued.
“But Yelena is already dead.”
“Eh?”
“Yes, she died decades ago. She died inside the Dungeon, and her body has not been recovered even now. Precisely because her body hasn’t been found, the choice for a new Holy Maiden has never been decided.”
Ella’s words left Letia stunned where she stood.
She also remembered now that when she first had Liz investigate Litt’s identity, Liz had also said that Litt’s identity was not simple but that she couldn’t be the Holy Maiden.
After all, the Holy Maiden had been dead for many years, and a new one hadn’t been chosen.
So that was the reason.
But Ella just said that Litt’s appearance was somewhat similar to Yelena’s?
“These are some things I found by chance deep within this Archive before.”
Ella’s voice interrupted Letia’s thoughts.
She saw Ella carefully take two items from an inner pocket.
A stiff photo with slightly yellowed edges, clearly very old, and a leather-bound notebook with a heavily worn cover that exuded an ancient aura.
She solemnly handed them to Letia.
“Take a look at these; perhaps you will understand more.”
After Letia took the items, she first looked at the photo.
Given that Ella looked very much like Litt, Letia immediately began to compare the photo with Ella.
She wouldn’t have known without comparing, but once she did… they really looked incredibly alike.
In the photo, the woman with a gentle face, a soft smile at the corners of her mouth, and a temperament as calm as still water looked exactly like Litt if she were five years older.
Plus, she herself actually looked quite a bit like Litt…
Hiss—
My head is so itchy.
I feel like I’m about to grow a brain.

So, Litt and thus probably Letia look like Yelena, probably explains Otto interests.
I bet Letia is Yelena and Otto’s daughter. I feel 99% certain on Yelena, but I’m probably only 90% on Otto.
She looks like Yelena and her personality is very similar to Otto, who also raised her and cares a lot for her. It would explain everything.
I’m only uncertain why Otto didn’t raise her as his daughter directly, but maybe it’s because being their daughter would have been problematic for her in it’s own way (like church people trying to declare her the next saint).
