Melia raised an eyebrow, her eyes narrowing dangerously.
“To be so rude to a lady is extremely dangerous.”
“You wouldn’t want to wake up in the middle of the night and see my face, would you?”
Kitto just smiled indifferently, completely unconcerned by Melia’s threat.

Pope Vic silently observed the actions of the two High Priestesses.
For some reason, most of the people who joined the Church of Procreation were just like Kitto and Melia.
But, the church happened to need people like them.
***
They hadn’t walked for long.
Suddenly, Vic noticed something, immediately calling out to the two who were about to continue forward.
“Have you noticed? At some point, there are no longer any pedestrians or vendors around us.”
He frowned in puzzlement.
“How could I not sense such a change? Could it be that someone silently altered the rules?”
At once, he activated the divine power within him, vigilantly scanning their surroundings.
Seeing the Pope’s actions, the two stopped fooling around and grew serious.
To be able to do such a thing right under the noses of three demigods like them—
The other side must definitely be a demigod no weaker than they were.
Perhaps even a god.
***
“Melis, if you can find that friend hiding in the shadows, maybe I’ll reconsider your proposal.”
Kitto suddenly slapped Melia’s surging curves.
Which made Melia burst into flirtatious laughter.
Watching his two utterly unreliable teammates, Vic stopped holding back.
Radiance enveloped his whole body, and the branch-like staff in his hand shone with dazzling deep green light.
This was the sacred artifact of the Church of Procreation—the Authority of Proliferation staff.
With the help of the Authority of Proliferation staff, Vic restored the altered rules.
***
A stunningly beautiful face that felt vaguely familiar appeared before him.
“Ymir!”
So it was her, that false god! She was also the one who killed two of my Church of Procreation’s legendary Supernaturals!
Vic’s heart was full of murderous intent, but on his face he still maintained the benevolence and kindness of a pope.
“Sinner, accept the judgment of the Divine Truth of Proliferation.”
“Your soul shall find forgiveness in the Proliferation Divine Kingdom!”
The reason he remembered that face so clearly was because Ymir had grasped the Authority of Proliferation that belonged to his Lord, the God of Procreation.
There was even a slim chance she could topple the God of Procreation from His position, even if that chance was pitifully small.
But grasping his Lord’s authority—this was a crime in itself!
To be killed was only natural.
Vic’s eyes brimmed with murderous intent, mixed with the satisfaction of a task soon to be completed.
***
Kitto and Melia, hearing the pope’s words, instantly straightened.
They turned toward the false god Ymir.
“So it was you who got me sent to this godforsaken place by Her Highness the Goddess.”
Kitto’s twisted expression showed a perverse sort of glee.
As if he’d found some perfect prey.
***
“Hehehe, Your Holiness, please don’t kill her. At least let me have her for a few days.”
“Such a villain must be slain!” Vic immediately refuted Kitto’s words.
“You really are heartless. Then just hand the fresh corpse over to me when you’re done.”
“Hmph, you fool with no vision. Let’s kill this false god quickly and report back to the Goddess!”
Melia’s figure flashed, appearing before Ymir with terrifying speed.
Her hands gripped a pair of bone knives, hacking at Ymir’s chest and certain…valleys.
“Die!”
Her eyes glimmered with jealousy and madness.
***
“Melia cannot attack Sislia; she can only strike at Vic and Kitto.”
A cold, crisp voice suddenly entered the ears of the three.
That voice was not unfamiliar to Vic at all.
His old face froze. No, this was Ymir’s real voice!
Then… the one Melia attacked was Sislia!?
Just as Vic realized this, a flurry of voices suddenly erupted around him.
The once-empty street instantly turned into a huge square crowded with people.
And not far from the square stood the Church of the great Dawn Goddess.
***
“Hiss! The Church of Procreation folks are way too brazen, aren’t they?”
“I always thought the rumors about the God of Procreation’s fall into evil were fake. After all, He was a good deity before.”
“Didn’t you hear what that bastard Kitto said?”
“People from the Church of Procreation are slaughtering those kindhearted elves in the Nation of Nature, not to mention succubi and those impossibly cute Beastkin Maidens!”
“Hey, are you denouncing the Church of Procreation or just jealous? Why are you drooling?”
The faces of the three demigods instantly stiffened.
“How is this possible? We should still be in the Dresis Empire…”
Even as the Pope of a major church, he could barely maintain his composure now.
His scalp tingled. Had everything that just happened, everything they’d said, been heard by these foolish people?
His heart turned cold.
***
If word of this got out, the Church of Procreation’s reputation would be utterly ruined.
The faith in the God of Procreation would collapse, and vast numbers of believers would switch faiths.
Even the God of Procreation’s divine rank and status might plummet!
At this thought, cold sweat broke out on Pope Vic’s forehead.
If that ever happened, the consequences would be too dire.
His own Acolyte of the Goddess Sequence would also drop from the demigod realm as the God of Procreation was demoted.
“How about… we just kill all these foolish people!”
***
Just as that thought surfaced in Vic’s mind—
A slash radiating the aura of death swept toward his nether regions.
Black Silk Lady Melia twisted her body through the air to land behind Vic, aiming straight for his most vulnerable spot.
It was so sudden, he hadn’t guarded against Melia at all.
A crisp slicing sound excited the onlookers to no end.
“The Church of Procreation guys are fighting each other!”
“Whoa! The Pope’s bleeding from behind!”
“She attacked there? Isn’t that a bit dishonorable?”
Vic stared at Melia in utter shock.
But Melia herself looked completely bewildered, as if she hadn’t realized what she’d just done.
“Pfft! Hahaha, Melia, you actually did what I’ve always wanted to do but never dared!”
Kitto, seeing this, wasn’t angry at all; instead, he burst into carefree laughter.
***
But he didn’t get to laugh for long.
Suddenly, he felt a chill between his legs.
Melia had already raised her blade, swinging at his weak spot.
“Melia, you old hag, are you insane?!”
Kitto hastily circulated his divine power, activating the Supernatural strength of the Tyrant Sequence.
Amidst the howling winds, the sky over Violet City was instantly shrouded in dark clouds.
The hurricane twisted into a tornado, its terrifying force suppressing Melia’s bone knives.
Then Kitto broke through the whirlwind, punching Melia and sending her flying.
He then rode the wild wind, chasing after her for another round of attacks.
“That woman changed the rules.”
“My body is clearly out of control, and yet you used your full strength?!”
