Chapter 2: The Body’s Betrayal

The next morning, Lilia woke up feeling sore all over.

Every part of her body was protesting.

Even the slightest movement made her feel like her bones were about to fall apart.

The aftereffects of last night’s “inspection” were even worse than she had imagined.

Lilia gritted her teeth, trying to get out of bed.

Lilia glared at her, but in the end, she surrendered.

There was no helping it—the difference in strength was just too great.

The fruit was sweet, but Lilia ate it feeling resentful.

And so, Lucia fed her piece by piece.

“Your Majesty.”

A knock came from outside the door.

“Come in.”

A succubus dressed in a black maid outfit entered.

Her face was stunningly beautiful, but her aura was cold and composed, strict to the core.

Her long silver hair was tied up in a tight bun, and she radiated an air of sharpness.

Her gaze swept over Lilia, carrying a hint of scrutiny and curiosity.

Lilia felt as if something dangerous was staring at her.

“Lilith, just in time.”

Lucia set down the utensils.

“This is the Head Maid of the Evernight Palace, Lilith.”

“She’ll be responsible for your daily life from now on.”

She turned to Lilith:

“This is Lilia, my new Pet.”

“Take good care of her.”

“As you command, Your Majesty.”

Lilith gave a perfect maid’s bow, then looked at Lilia.

“Miss, please take care of me.”

Her voice was polite, but Lilia couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off.

“Well then, I have some matters to attend to.”

Lucia stood up, adjusting her clothes.

“Lilith, change her into new clothes.”

“This set is too plain.”

“Yes, Your Majesty.”

Lucia walked to the door, then suddenly paused.

She pulled a delicate Badge from her pocket and tossed it onto the bed.

“This is your identification—and your toy.”

“Don’t lose it.”

With that, she left the room.

Only Lilia and Lilith remained.

The atmosphere instantly grew delicate.

Lilith walked to the bedside and picked up the Badge, examining it closely.

“The Demon King’s exclusive Badge………………”

She looked at Lilia, a complex emotion flickering in her eyes.

“Miss is truly favored.”

“Favored? I’m imprisoned!”

Lilia’s face flushed with anger.

“Is that so?”

Lilith smiled faintly, but her smile was icy.

“Well then, please cooperate with my work, Miss.”

“It’s time to change clothes.”

She walked over to the massive wardrobe and opened it.

Inside hung all kinds of dresses.

All of them were gothic lolita style, with lace, bows, and ruffles in abundance.

Lilia’s scalp tingled at the sight.

“I’m not wearing those!!”

“That’s not up to Miss.”

Lilith chose the most extravagant and complicated black dress.

“It’s the order of Her Majesty. I must obey.”

She returned to the bed and got to work.

Lilia wanted to resist, but her body was still limp.

Lilith moved with professional efficiency.

In a few swift motions, she stripped off Lilia’s old clothes.

Then she began dressing her in the new outfit.

There were more than ten bows, layers upon layers of lace, and all sorts of little decorations.

After she finished, Lilith nodded in satisfaction.

“It suits you well.”

“Miss’s figure is perfect for this style.”

“Shut up!”

Lilia was mortified.

Lilith tidied up, preparing to leave.

“If Miss needs anything, please call for me at any time.”

She walked to the door, then paused.

“Oh right, Miss…you have Her Majesty’s scent on you.”

Her voice carried a hint of meaningful implication.

Then she left the room.

Lilia froze for a moment, then her face turned scarlet.

“What scent! That perverted maid!”

The room grew quiet again.

Lilia sat alone on the bed, clenching her fists.

The lingering soreness in her body reminded her of everything that had happened last night.

That humiliation, that sense of powerlessness, and the strange feeling rising from deep within…

“Lucia! Just you wait!”

She swore a blood oath in her heart:

“One day, I’ll make you taste this too!”

“I’ll pin you to the bed and make you beg for mercy!”

She pictured herself growing stronger.

She imagined Lucia kneeling and begging at her feet.

But as her thoughts wandered—

The exhaustion from last night washed over her again.

This body was too weak—even being angry made her tired.

She grumbled and flopped back onto the bed.

Her eyelids grew heavier and heavier.

Lilia’s voice grew softer and softer, until she finally drifted into a deep sleep.
