‘Empire of Airedoria!’
“No, what gave you the illusion that we’re from the Empire of Airedoria?”
Hearing Ailiya’s question, Muxuan couldn’t help but twitch the corner of her mouth.
But still, was the Empire of Airedoria on such frequent terms with the Elven Forest?
Even if they had been in the past, the Eerie Calamity had descended so long ago—it shouldn’t have reached the point where even a low-ranking elf knew about the Empire of Airedoria.
After silently venting her complaints, a slew of questions followed.
Muxuan opened her mouth to explain that she wasn’t from the Empire of Airedoria, but was quickly nudged by Qiansitelin’s elbow and immediately shut it.
Qiansitelin then nodded at Ailiya, her tone no longer as icy.
“Yes, we’re from the Empire of Airedoria. Have there been people from the Empire of Airedoria visiting the Elven Forest recently?”
Qiansitelin’s words left Ailiya stunned, but she quickly recovered.
Currently, aside from the Dwarves, only people from the Empire of Airedoria still resided in Biercuiluoda.
Then she immediately shook her head.
“No one from the Empire of Airedoria has come recently… It’s just…”
Ailiya’s voice was very soft, but her expression didn’t seem like she was lying.
Muxuan nodded slightly, but a puzzled look appeared in her eyes.
Dwarves?
She remembered that all the Dwarves sent in by the Great Artisan God had turned into Withered Vines.
Could there be other Dwarf tribes that had come to the Elven Forest?
No one from the Empire of Airedoria had come recently, but what was this about people living there?
And where was Biercuiluoda, anyway?
A string of questions arose in Muxuan’s mind, and she turned her gaze to Qiansitelin.
After exchanging a glance with Muxuan, Qiansitelin explained softly.
“Biercuiluoda is to the Elven Forest what a capital city is to a human kingdom.”
“As for the Dwarves and those people from the Empire of Airedoria… we don’t know them, so what’s so surprising about that?”
Seeing Qiansitelin’s lips pressed slightly as she tried to downplay it, Muxuan understood her meaning.
Now wasn’t the time to speak openly; they needed to wait until they were alone.
With that in mind, Muxuan didn’t press further and turned back to Ailiya.
Ailiya now wore a somewhat surprised expression.
“So you didn’t know? I thought…”
A look of disappointment crossed Ailiya’s face.
After all, those people from the Empire of Airedoria were incredibly wealthy! Even the Great Elder had to show them some respect!
If only these two ladies could know them.
She felt a slight regret, but quickly came to her senses.
Wait—the two ladies before her were also from the Empire of Airedoria!
If she could follow in their footsteps…
With that thought, Ailiya looked at Muxuan with renewed anticipation, her eyes sparkling as if waiting for an order.
I have to make a good impression!
Seeing Ailiya staring at her like she was some rare treasure, Muxuan shuddered involuntarily, then said after some hesitation.
“Then we’ll trouble you to lead the way. Let’s get to Biercuiluoda as soon as possible.”
Qiansitelin had explained earlier that she’d originally wanted Ailiya to take them to a safe place so Muxuan could rest.
But now that Her Highness was awake, there was no need to find a place to rest.
They could head straight to Biercuiluoda.
“That’s easy. The appearance of an Oak Guardian means Biercuiluoda is nearby! It’ll take at most five minutes to walk there.”
“Are you two headed somewhere specific?”
Since these two ladies could prevent the Oak Guardian from attacking, they must be of high status.
Ailiya could already imagine leading them and drawing envious looks from others!
Of course, it would be even better if they passed by Saint Delosia Academy.
Somewhere specific…
To be honest, Muxuan didn’t have a clear answer either.
She still doubted that the Oak Guardian would obey her, and she wasn’t sure she could move freely in Biercuiluoda.
If she was stopped as soon as she entered, there would be no way around it.
But it shouldn’t come to that, right?
The Dwarves sent by the Great Artisan God could enter and live comfortably, so she shouldn’t be stopped right away.
The main issue was that she knew nothing about Biercuiluoda!
Everything inside was based solely on the Great Artisan God’s rough description.
Even the Great Artisan God didn’t actually know the layout of Biercuiluoda.
It all came from reports by the Dwarves sent in, which couldn’t provide a complete picture of the Elven Forest.
After thinking it over for a moment, Muxuan let out a helpless sigh.
She didn’t have many options anyway, did she?
“To Saint Delosia.”
As soon as Muxuan finished speaking, Ailiya’s eyes lit up, and her face was filled with excitement.
She never thought that just hoping to pass by Saint Delosia Academy would lead to these ladies heading straight there!
Maybe because she was too excited, Ailiya tripped over a branch, stumbled a couple of steps, and almost fell.
She quickly steadied herself, smiled apologetically at Muxuan, and then immediately said.
“Ladies… let’s hurry!”
Muxuan could see the eagerness in Ailiya’s expression and felt both confused and curious.
Why did mentioning Saint Delosia get her so worked up?
Was there something wrong with Saint Delosia?
Finally, Muxuan couldn’t help but ask.
“Something wrong? No, no! Saint Delosia is the most authoritative magic academy on the entire continent! I dream of getting in to see it! It’s just…”
As she said this, her previously excited demeanor suddenly became dejected.
Muxuan immediately understood Ailiya’s thoughts and couldn’t help but laugh.
Ah, so that’s the reason.
Many academies are hard for commoners to enter, but once you do, it’s an overnight rise to success!
No wonder Ailiya felt that way.
“Alright, let’s head to Biercuiluoda first… We’ll take a stroll and then go to Saint Delosia Academy.”
Still not entirely reassured, Muxuan chose to take a look around first.
At the very least, she needed to get a general sense of Biercuiluoda.
Besides, she didn’t even know if she could enter Saint Delosia Academy!
She also didn’t know if the factor that made the Oak Guardian obey her would still work once inside Biercuiluoda.
Even if Ailiya thought she and Qiansitelin were important figures from the Empire of Airedoria, Muxuan knew her own situation well.
Moreover, according to Ailiya, there were real people from the Empire of Airedoria living in Biercuiluoda.
If they ran into them, they might recognize that Qiansitelin and she weren’t from the Empire of Airedoria.
Upon hearing Muxuan’s words, Ailiya quickly responded, waved at both Muxuan and Qiansitelin, signaling them to follow.
Then, with light steps, she headed toward Biercuiluoda, her expression full of anticipation.
