Chapter 183: The secret in the Wardrobe

Quite spacious.

Although it’s a one-bedroom, one-bathroom rented room, the area is actually quite large.

“I’m going to the bathroom.”

Bai Yao also crouched beside her, rushing to help fold the clothes.

But her mother gave her a strange look.

She had always been the one to tidy up her son’s wardrobe; she had never seen her son so eager to help clean, even telling her not to touch things.

So why couldn’t she touch her daughter’s wardrobe?

As she was thinking, her hand picked up a small piece of fabric.

Bai Yao felt her heart skip a beat, almost blacking out, and sat down hard on the floor.

It was her lingerie.

Although it wasn’t something with obvious sexual implications, it was so short that it exposed her waist and stomach, and the hem barely covered her butt.

“So short?” her mother muttered as she folded it.

“Are you planning to wear this out in summer?”

Bai Yao’s face burned red.

She didn’t dare look at her mother, her legs naturally spreading apart in an M shape as she sat on the floor.

“Just… bought it for fun, being childish.”

The big toy was also bought out of childish curiosity.

And she really had never used it!

Obviously, Qiu Ye had already put away the incriminating items last night or this morning when he cleaned up.

‘And that guy still had a look of schadenfreude! He scared her half to death with worry.’

She glared at Qiu Ye, and he returned a smile.

“Then shall we go find your counselor now?”

Mother asked.

“Mm.”

When they left, Bai Yao deliberately lagged two steps behind her mother.

She grabbed Qiu Ye’s arm, stood on tiptoe, and whispered fiercely in his ear:

“Where did you hide it?”

“Under the sofa.”

“…”

“So eager to try it?”

“Not really…”

She could barely handle Qiu Ye, let alone that thing.

To be honest, it was only because she was drunk and reckless last night; otherwise, she couldn’t imagine how she managed to “devour” Qiu Ye.

Bai Yao glared at Qiu Ye again, then jogged to catch up with her mother, letting her mother take her arm.

She stepped aside, hiding behind her mother and Qiu Ye, head down, nervously picking at her nails.

However, after submitting the materials, they still needed to wait for the school and the education bureau to review.

After finishing all the procedures, it was already 4 PM.

“I’ll head back to the dorm first, then?”

After walking out of the school’s teaching building, Qiu Ye turned around and asked.

Perhaps because he handled things efficiently, it seemed his future mother-in-law’s attitude toward him had softened quite a bit.

“Auntie, are you going home tonight?”

“Tonight… I’ll stay with Bai Yao for one night, then go back tomorrow?”

As she said this, Mother looked at Bai Yao.

There was no trace of rejection or reluctance on Bai Yao’s face.

She had lived on her own since elementary school; now in college, she had to share a bed with her mother.
