Opening the door, stepping into the familiar rented room, Bai Yao’s tense expression from being outside immediately crumbled.

She lazily stretched and flopped comfortably onto the bed.

Everything was neatly placed where it belonged, and there were no clothes or pants scattered on the bed.

A few minutes later, Qiu Ye dragged the suitcase into the room.

“What did you pack that’s so heavy?”

“My mom packed it. I don’t know either…”

Qiu Ye laid the suitcase flat, sat directly on the floor, and opened it.

“Noodles from the shop downstairs. My mom insisted on stuffing them in, even though you can get them anywhere.”

Bai Yao rolled onto her side, watching Qiu Ye sit on the floor pulling out all kinds of random items from the suitcase.

Her clothes were neatly folded, pressed at the very bottom.

“He grabbed a bottle each of shampoo, shower gel, and conditioner for you.”

Bai Yao stretched comfortably on the bed again.
