Chapter 15: bad dogs

Luo Tianyou didn’t change into pajamas; the Starry Sky Battle Suit automatically drained off the water.

There were still many things about this battle suit she couldn’t understand, including what happened on the bus before.

She originally planned to find a safe place to study it properly, but right now, the most important thing was to protect herself.

Only a dim bedside lamp was lit in the bedroom.

Yuexia Liuli lounged lazily on the soft bed, golden hair spread across the pillow, the robe’s belt loosely tied, the collar slightly open, revealing a faint, snow-white valley.

She held a thick Magic Tome in her hand, seemingly reading.

“Finished washing?”

Luo Tianyou mumbled, slowly moved to the bed, lifted the quilt, and lay down at the edge, trying to keep as far away from Yuexia Liuli as possible.

Yuexia Liuli’s voice came closer.

Immediately after, a warm arm naturally wrapped around Luo Tianyou’s slender waist, and with a little force, pulled her entirely into her embrace.

Luo Tianyou let out a startled cry, her back instantly pressed against a soft and warm source.

The scent from Yuexia Liuli carried warmth, wrapping her tightly.

Luo Tianyou struggled, but the other’s embrace was like a gentle shackle, leaving her nowhere to escape.

A subtle tickle ran through like an electric current, wave after wave.

Luo Tianyou bit her lower lip, suppressing a moan that almost escaped.

“Be good, don’t move, sleep now.”

Yuexia Liuli tightened her arms, embedding the soft, fragrant little master even closer into her embrace.

“Yuexia Liuli…”

Luo Tianyou tried one last protest.

“Hmm?”

The voice behind her was sleepy, as if really about to fall asleep, but the hand causing chaos on her abdomen showed no sign of stopping.

“You… you bad dog…”

Luo Tianyou’s words of insult were soft and powerless.

“Woof.”

At dawn, two women from the remote Management Bureau walked out of Li Huayu’s hotel with her.

“Leaders, I want to wait for someone. Can you give me a little more time?”

One of them, a B-level Magic Girl with neat short hair, asked patiently.

They had to proceed with caution, showing patience even with Li Huayu until all matters were clarified before moving on to handle affairs at the C City Management Bureau.

“I want to see a Magic Girl. She was the one who asked the Yuehua Witch Lord to help me.”

Li Huayu said softly.

Qingluan and Hongying exchanged glances.

For something to catch the attention of Yuexia Liuli was no small matter, not to mention a Magic Girl who could move Yuexia Liuli herself.

Since Li Huayu was involved, it was better to treat this with care.

“Very well. We’ll wait in the hotel lobby.”

“Thank you, Leaders.”

The three of them entered the lobby.

Li Huayu sat uneasily on the sofa, while Qingluan and Hongying ordered some desserts in the dining area.

Qingluan took a bite of a small cake.

Hongying pondered.

They waited until almost noon.

It was Luo Tianyou.

From afar, Li Huayu saw Luo Tianyou mumbling, as if muttering to herself.

Qingluan and Hongying replied solemnly.

Li Huayu knew it was time to go.

She looked at Luo Tianyou, lips parted.

“Luo Tianyou, thank you.”

In the end, this was all she could say.

“Goodbye.”

Luo Tianyou answered softly.

Li Huayu bit her lip and followed Qingluan and Hongying out of the hotel lobby.

The atmosphere between Luo Tianyou and Yuexia Liuli immediately turned a little strange.

Yuexia Liuli tried to place her hand on Luo Tianyou’s shoulder, but it was firmly swatted away.

She tried to hug her, but was pushed off again.

“Also, one last thing. For this Magic Girl selection, Master, you have to participate.”
