Liuli felt that Serveyia must have faced the same problems as her at some point.
It wasn’t just Serveyia; every girl likely had similar issues, as no one was born with such knowledge.
“There are, but that kind of underwear also has its drawbacks. For example, it’s not suitable for girls with larger sizes and things like that.”
As Serveyia spoke, she glanced at Liuli’s chest as if hinting at something.
“And it’s not very convenient for exercise. Besides, I’m here to help you most of the time, so the style doesn’t really matter, does it?”
“Actually, I think there’s still a bit of a difference…”
Liuli still wanted to explain.
From her perspective, it was always better not to rely on others.
Although Serveyia seemed to never tire of taking care of her, truth be told, this kind of relationship always made her feel a little uneasy.
“Fine, then. Once we get back, I’ll properly teach you, Little Fox. You really should learn. If others found out that my Little Fox doesn’t even know how to put on her own underwear, they’d probably laugh at you, wouldn’t they? Come, sit here. I’ll help you do your hair.”
“Serveyia, who do you think is responsible for this?”
Liuli felt somewhat helpless.
Thinking about how she didn’t know how to do anything, she couldn’t help but blame Serveyia.
If she hadn’t constantly kept her from learning, how could she be this useless?
“Alright, alright, it’s my fault, okay? I’ll teach you later, Little Fox.”
Despite Serveyia’s promise, Liuli wasn’t sure if it was just a stalling tactic.
Rationally speaking, her being incompetent played right into Serveyia’s hands.
By raising her to be a useless person, Serveyia could rightfully take control of her.
Watching Serveyia painstakingly style her hair, Liuli wondered if she should learn how to do it herself.
The task looked incredibly tedious, and Liuli didn’t know if she really had the patience to stick with the learning process.
“There we go, Little Fox. Since there are no events today, I didn’t give you anything too complicated. Of course, if you have a specific hairstyle you want, you can just tell me.”
Hairstyle…
Liuli looked at herself in the mirror.
Serveyia had tied her hair into a very simple ponytail.
If it was just this style, maybe she could try to learn it?
“Serveyia, if there’s nothing to do today, could you teach me how to do this hairstyle?”
Liuli’s reason was simple.
She had to find something to do, or she would be so bored on this journey she might actually grow fur.
“Sure. I don’t even think you need me to teach you. A ponytail is the simplest of hairstyles—so simple you could learn it by searching online for a bit.”
“But wouldn’t it be easier if someone taught me step-by-step?”
Liuli knew there were plenty of tutorials online for even the most complex hairstyles.
However, it wasn’t just about learning the hairstyle.
The learning process was also an opportunity to get closer to Serveyia.
While their relationship didn’t necessarily need to be any closer than it already was, Liuli always felt that she was someone who particularly needed attention.
She had a deep desire for intimate contact with others.
“Of course. But first, we need to go out and say hello to everyone. Aili and Fina are waiting for you, Little Fox.”
“Okay~”
Breakfast was a simple meal of sandwiches and milk.
As expected, Fina and Aili had been waiting for them.
“Liuli, how did you sleep last night?”
Fina greeted her the moment she saw her.
Aili, who was in the middle of eating, didn’t speak and simply nodded.
“I slept alright. I was pretty tired yesterday, so it was a peaceful sleep.”
Liuli knew very well that she couldn’t mention that the reason she slept so well was because Serveyia had been holding her.
“It’s good that you slept well. I was worried you wouldn’t get used to sleeping in a motorhome and might suffer from insomnia.”
“No, this motorhome is very stable. I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all.”
That was the truth.
She didn’t know who the driver was, but they drove incredibly smoothly.
Then again, it might just be because the motorhome had excellent suspension.
“That’s good. Come have breakfast, Princess.”
Fina smiled and nodded, patting the seat next to her to signal Liuli to sit down.
“Um, do you guys have any plans for today?”
Liuli didn’t ask further and obediently sat beside her, picking up her portion and beginning to eat.
“No special plans. We’re just doing whatever we want. What do you plan to do today, Liuli?”
“Me? I don’t have anything special to do either. Maybe I’ll play some games?”
“Then do you want to keep playing games with me, Liuli?”
“I think I’ll pass…”
She couldn’t help it.
The scene of her losing the bet to Fina yesterday was still vivid in her mind.
For Liuli, she already carried the weight of one bet; there was no need to force herself into a new one.
“Alright then.”
Fina seemed a bit disappointed but didn’t say much more.
After they finished breakfast, Liuli followed Serveyia back to the vanity mirror.
She still wanted to learn how to tie her hair.
Then again, if Aili and Fina saw her like this, would they laugh at her?
“Serveyia, what do I do?”
Looking at herself in the mirror, Liuli grabbed a strand of hair that had fallen in front of her.
Although she was a total long-hair enthusiast, she was honestly not very good at handling it.
If she were alone, she might eventually choose to cut it short.
It would be a pity, but for the sake of daily convenience, sacrifices had to be made.
“It’s simple. You can follow me step-by-step, Little Fox.”
Serveyia spoke as she adjusted things on my head.
“First, separate a section of hair from the back of the crown and secure it with a hair tie. Then, brush the rest of the hair back and tie it into a high ponytail. Finally, pull the ponytail through the opening above the hair tie and use your fingers to tidy up the hair on top. There, a basic high ponytail is finished.”
Serveyia explained as she went.
To be honest, her movements weren’t fast, but it was still a bit much for Liuli.
Someone who had never touched the field of hairstyling couldn’t learn just by watching once.
She had to practice.
But that practice process was, well, full of mishaps.
Either she tied it too tight, making her scalp hurt, or she tied it in the wrong spot, making her look strange.
Liuli spent a long time practicing before she finally managed to make her hair look passably decent.
“How was that, Serveyia? Am I a genius?”
“Little Fox, this is the simplest hairstyle there is. If you couldn’t even learn this, then I’d have to say you really are a fox and not a human.”
Hearing Serveyia’s sharp tongue again made Liuli feel a sense of familiarity.
She didn’t know if she had developed some sort of masochistic tendency, but without that sharp tongue, Serveyia just didn’t feel like herself.
“But Serveyia, I learned a new Skill. Shouldn’t you give me some praise?”
“If you hadn’t spent over 30 minutes finally tying a mediocre ponytail, I might have actually praised you. But Little Fox, do you really think you’re a genius?”
“Serveyia, whether I’m a genius or not isn’t the point. What matters is your praise. Just praise me, okay?”
Logically, as a girl herself, Liuli had always thought Serveyia’s heart would be more delicate.
But based on the way Serveyia was talking to her now, Liuli really began to wonder if Serveyia was just messing with her.
“Fine, fine. You did a great job, Little Fox!”
Serveyia patted Liuli’s head as if she were just humoring her dissatisfaction.
For Liuli, not only was the timing of this praise terrible, but more importantly, it was completely half-hearted—as if she were just trying to get it over with.
“Serveyia, could you be any more superficial?”
Liuli knew she was being a bit annoying, like a girlfriend in a relationship who was constantly starved for attention and affection.
“Then what kind of praise do you need, Little Fox? Would you like the kind of praise involving things you can only do with your hair tied up?”
“Ser… Serveyia! You pervert! Aili and Fina are still here!”
Liuli hadn’t expected those words to come out of Serveyia’s mouth.
Was that flirting, harassment, or just a joke?
“Hmph, don’t you already know whether I’m a pervert or not, Little Fox? I’m not afraid even if Aili and the others see us. On the other hand, if you’re scared, then you’d better not say things that make me misunderstand next time.”
Serveyia stood directly behind her, leaning against her.
She blew a breath against her neck, making Liuli instinctively shiver.
“But you really did do well, Little Fox. Do you want to learn the next hairstyle?”
“I’ll pass. I think this is good enough…”
Liuli thought about it and finally gave up because it seemed too troublesome.
As for hairstyles, she only needed to know the basics.
For the rest, she had Serveyia and all those maids back at Qingli Hall.
With their help, they could handle even the most complex styles for her.
Why should she tire herself out?
