When Aimoer brought Senteli to the hotel, she could clearly feel the front desk’s gaze grow a few degrees more contemptuous.
‘What the heck, the Holy Maiden herself followed me here, okay? Don’t look at me like I’m scum!’
‘And—even though I have a Token of Holy Heritage myself, why am I the one getting despised instead of Senteli?’
Aimoer pouted inwardly in dissatisfaction, but still smiled and ushered Senteli inside.
‘Whatever, in the end I’m the one who gets to enjoy this. I’ll tease her first.’
She watched Senteli, who had been looking curious and amazed ever since they arrived at the hotel, and a sense of satisfaction welled up in her heart.
‘Heh, this witch actually did something decent. Looking at it this way, this isn’t punishment at all—it’s clearly a reward.’
“El…”
Standing in front of the Presidential Suite, Senteli turned to look at her with an amazed expression, her water-blue eyes still sparkling.
“I never thought you’d be so rich. This is my first time in a place like this.”
Aimoer watched her spinning around beside her, curious about everything, even carefully reaching out to touch the decorative vases in the hallway.
There wasn’t a trace of envy or flattery in her eyes—just pure curiosity about new things, clean as a blank slate.
Aimoer took her hand, opened the door, and pulled her inside.
“You’ll get used to it gradually. Maybe you’ll have plenty of chances to come to places like this. Come on, let’s check out the room.”
She made room for Senteli, then sat on the bed, watching her wander around the room with a face full of curiosity.
‘What a simple and adorable child.’
“Wow, El, do you live in a place like this every day?”
Senteli crouched in the corner of the room, poking a finger at the leaves of a potted plant, then turned her head to look at her curiously.
“Yeah, every day.”
“That’s amazing, but isn’t it a waste of money? This place looks so expensive.”
Senteli looked at her with a worried expression, her innocent eyes almost completely free of impurity.
“Don’t worry. I know I’m always studying, but I’ve actually been making quite a bit of money on the side.”
Aimoer gave her a reassuring smile.
Even though it was all made up, she could clearly see immense admiration in Senteli’s eyes.
“Oh, El is amazing.”
Senteli stood up from the potted plant, trotted over to sit beside her, then stood up again with a panicked expression.
“The bed is so soft…” she murmured softly, gently pressing down with her hand as if afraid it might collapse.
After carefully testing it a couple of times, she slowly sat down.
Seeing her so cautious, Aimoer giggled behind her hand, then stood up and patted her head.
“You don’t have to be so formal. Relax, relax. I’ll go pour you some tea.”
She tossed her gloves onto the nightstand and turned to go to the adjacent kitchen to prepare tea.
This was the one great thing about the Presidential Suite: it had all the basic amenities, the decor was pleasing to the eye, and it was incredibly comfortable.
She boiled water first, then tore open a black tea package and dropped the tea bag in.
Next, she took out a mysterious white packet, opened it deftly, and poured the white powder into the tea, where it disappeared as Aimoer stirred.
She took a small sip with a spoon and nodded in satisfaction.
“The flavor is just right.”
Then, Aimoer took out several more identical packets from her pocket, opened them, and poured their contents into another cup of black tea.
She took a small sip, and a sweet flavor rippled through her mouth, making her involuntarily reveal a blissful smile, even her tail curling up in delight.
“As expected, the sugar packets used by big cafes taste better and sweeter than the ones bought elsewhere.”
That’s right, earlier at the cafe she had helped herself to quite a few sugar packets, planning to pour them into her mouth whenever she ran low on energy.
Now it seemed that decision was absolutely correct.
After adding all that sugar, with just one sip, she could feel the beauty of the world again.
She placed the tea on a wooden tray and was about to take it out for Senteli to try when she suddenly noticed—
Senteli was sitting on the edge of the bed, staring intently at her own gloves, her gaze vacant, one hand gently stroking them, lost in thought.
She placed the tea on a side table, silently circled around behind Senteli, and with a Succubus’s perception, could hear Senteli’s violent heartbeat.
‘Why is her heart beating so fast? It can’t be that walking around the hotel counts as intense exercise.’
Aimoer looked at her suspiciously.
There was a faint cherry-red on her neck, unsure if it was caused by being too close.
‘Whatever, I’ll dig in first.’
Aimoer licked her lips and, careful not to touch her body, gently blew a breath near her ear.
“So serious, what are you looking at?”
“Ah!”
Senteli trembled, quickly pulled her hand back and turned around, blushing slightly as she chided.
“E…El, you scared me.”
She fidgeted with her fingers, her gaze wandering.
Although not very obvious, in Aimoer’s eyes, it was a sign of guilt.
“I was just… just spacing out, that’s all.”
“Really? It didn’t look like spacing out to me.”
Aimoer’s eyes shifted.
Although getting close to her now would definitely burn her with Holy Light, it didn’t stop her from using a little trick.
She pulled the covers of the large bed, using the momentum to press Senteli down against her, then felt joy in her heart.
‘As expected, it works. The burning sensation isn’t as noticeable.’
She leaned close to Senteli’s face, maintaining just a tiny distance, not hiding her natural seductive aura at all, and spoke softly with a smile.
“Darling, your face is so red. Could you be thinking something naughty?”
Senteli didn’t resist either.
She lay beneath her, her hair disheveled, a hint of moisture glistening in her sea-blue pupils, which only accentuated her purity.
“R…really not.”
Senteli turned her head away, lying still and obedient, seemingly unaware of what Aimoer might do next.
‘How interesting.’
Aimoer smiled.
Her reaction was as cute as imagined.
What would happen if she scared her a little more?
So, Aimoer propped herself up, leaned close to her face.
Though it was a bit hot, it was still within tolerable limits.
“Darling, you look especially beautiful like this.”
Senteli couldn’t sit still anymore.
Seeing her so close, she became flustered instantly.
“D…don’t tease me.”
She reached out to push Aimoer away but quickly pulled back, looking both scared and reluctant.
“El, you’re a bit heavy… If you press down like this, it will hurt.”
She fidgeted uneasily.
Even now, she didn’t seem to be thinking in that direction.
Aimoer licked her lips.
Senteli’s reaction was absolutely exquisite.
She could watch this all day without getting bored.
‘Since we’re setting out to crusade against the Demon God tomorrow, I’ll rest well today.’
So, she lowered her head and reached her hand under the covers.
Recharging one’s energy is the top priority for any undertaking.
