Wasn’t this the Hero’s Sword that Jukkido Simon had been forced to throw away when she reverted to her original form?
After all, once she turned back into the Red Dragon, she could no longer use weapons.
She had simply tossed it aside, as the weapon was nothing more than a hard hunk of iron to her, devoid of any special effects.
Keeping it would have been a burden, so she had abandoned it.
However, Jukkido Simon certainly never imagined that there was a real Hero among them—her very own daughter.
The moment Kurosaki grabbed the Hero’s Sword, she felt an electric current surge into her body. It was an unparalleled, ancient power.
A form of protection washed over her, rendering the surging Dragonflame harmless, and ensuring that even the most powerful shockwaves could not knock her down.
“Phew…” Kurosaki took a deep breath. Her Dragon Scale Armor expanded once more, but she ignored her Dragon Blade.
That weapon would be useless against the Dragon Father.
She gripped the Hero’s Sword tightly and sprinted with all her might, charging into the Decisive Battle like a dark knight.
“Little Black?” Qingshamu was still stepping through the void in the sky, helpless against the Red Dragon.
Seeing Kurosaki charge into the fray like a flying sword filled her with both shock and joy.
She was deeply worried about Kurosaki’s safety, but although Blackie looked like a fool, she was actually quite clever. If she knew she couldn’t win, she would run away.
White Feather Dove had already fled with Xueyuedai, huddling in the deepest corner of the cave to avoid being caught in any area-of-effect attacks.
She knew that a battle of this caliber was not something a Magician like herself could interfere with.
“Huh?” Suddenly, White Feather Dove noticed her Magic leaking out continuously, as if it were being siphoned away.
It was incredibly strange; she couldn’t even maintain her Magical Barrier.
“What’s going on?” White Feather Dove was shocked, but she quickly followed the flow of Magic to discover the cause.
It turned out that Blackie was aggressively stealing her Dark Moon Magic!
This meant that the protective power Kurosaki had suddenly obtained was actually her sister’s Magic.
The hidden skill of the Hero’s Sword was actually a Remote Mana Link that could siphon Magic from companions.
As Kurosaki absorbed more Magic, the characteristics became more pronounced. It was indeed Dark Moon Magic, wrapping around her like a flexible Dark Moon Shield.
Combined with the double protection of her Dragon Scale Armor, she was nearly immune to the crimson Dragon Breath that threatened to incinerate the entire world.
Kurosaki leaped onto the Red Dragon with a single bound, dancing across the scorching Dragon Scales without being affected in the slightest.
“Aaaaaahhh!” she shrieked as she scrambled up the dragon’s shoulder.
Jukkido Simon finally began to panic. She had not expected her Dragon Breath ultimate move to be ineffective against the little girl.
What made her even more anxious was realizing that the weapon Kurosaki held was the Dragon Slayer Sword she had thrown away.
‘She actually picked up the Dragon Slayer Sword to hack at me? This is too disgusting!’
“Roar!” Jukkido Simon’s composure shattered, and she howled powerlessly at the sky. She flapped her four wings violently and soared upward, circling at high speed in the high altitude to try and shake Blackie off.
Qingshamu was left behind, frozen in mid-air. Her Moonlight Void Flight was incapable of keeping up with the speed of a four-winged Feilong.
Normally, the Red Dragon’s goal was to reclaim the Demon Sword, so she wouldn’t have taken flight. If she flew away, Qingshamu could simply escape with Feini.
But now, Jukkido Simon was so terrified by her daughter that she had taken to the sky, proving how panicked she was.
However, Qingshamu couldn’t actually run away. She quickly flew to the mountain corner to find White Feather Dove and Xueyuedai to check on her teammates.
Xueyuedai had merely been knocked unconscious by falling rocks and was not in any grave danger.
White Feather Dove, however, was pale. She sat in a meditative posture with a solemn expression, her Magic surging wildly.
Qingshamu couldn’t understand why she would choose such a critical moment to practice her Meditation.
“Baicheng, what’s wrong with you?” Qingshamu asked worriedly.
“I’m fine. Blackie has established a Remote Mana Link with me. I’m currently funneling my Magic to her so she can resist the Dragon Breath,” White Feather Dove replied.
“A Remote Mana Link?” Qingshamu was confused.
“It’s an ability of that sword. I can’t explain the details,” White Feather Dove said.
“That sword is the Hero’s Sword, and Blackie is the new generation’s Hero. It seems the one destined to defeat the Demon King isn’t me or Feini, but Blackie.”
Qingshamu understood instantly.
“The poor Demon King could never have imagined that the person destined by fate to defeat her would be someone she gave birth to.”
“Blackie is my daughter! What does it have to do with her?” Feini the Demon Sword protested. Even in her sword form, she couldn’t help but complain.
“Father, Mother, stop talking nonsense and go help Blackie. Victory isn’t guaranteed yet. If I run out of Magic, Blackie is going to die,” White Feather Dove urged.
“Who’s the father and who’s the mother? I’m the father now!” Feini continued to shout.
“Hang in there.” Qingshamu nodded and took off. Her Moonlight Mana flickered as she rushed back to support Blackie.
Thus, White Feather Dove had been turned into a remote power bank.
She had thought she could finally rest, but she never imagined she would be forced to participate in the battle this way.
It seemed this fight wouldn’t end until everyone was pushed to the point of total exhaustion.
High in the sky, Kurosaki clung to the Red Dragon like a flea. No matter how the dragon twisted and turned, she could not be shaken off.
Kurosaki’s Dragon Blade had grown out again, acting like a hook that she wedged into the gaps between the Dragon Scales.
Not only was she holding on, but she was also steadily crawling upward until she reached the Red Dragon’s shoulder.
Kurosaki stood up, gripping the Hero’s Sword, and began walking toward the Dragon Father’s head step by step. Her intentions were obvious.
“Roar!”
Jukkido Simon grew desperate. She swung her massive Dragon Claw, slamming it down toward her own body in an attempt to crush the intruder.
But Kurosaki slipped right through the gaps between the dragon’s fingers.
Taking advantage of the dragon’s slowed flight speed during the maneuver, she sprinted forward and leaped onto the dragon’s head in the blink of an eye.
Lying flat on the dragon’s head, she gripped her sword with a reverse hold and stabbed viciously toward the Dragon Pupil.
Clang!
At the critical moment, the Red Dragon squeezed her eyes shut, using her eyelids to block the strike.
Clink! Clink! Clink! Clink! Clink! Clink! Clink!
Unlike Qingshamu’s previous sneak attack, Kurosaki stayed rooted to the dragon’s head.
She raised the Hero’s Sword and unleashed a flurry of consecutive slashes against the eyelid, determined to pierce through.
No matter how sturdy a dragon’s eyelid was, it was still just skin.
Under the brutal assault of her own daughter, Jukkido Simon’s eye began to throb with pain and bleed.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Left with no other choice, Jukkido Simon flapped her four wings and suddenly plummeted.
From a height of 1,000 meters, she dove straight toward the ground with her daughter still clinging to her head.
