He used to get scolded if he didn’t return home within a certain time.

He was picky about everything, as if anything less than perfect was a personal slight.

Now, she was a beautiful and cute young girl.

Qiu Ye lowered his head to look at the girl beside him.

He saw Bai Yao immediately look down and start eating popcorn.

“Huh? Maybe they just… leaked because there were too many?”

If it were the uterus, that was an internal organ; one could argue it hadn’t been discovered because no abdominal exams had been done before.

But the external “brother” had gone missing, and there was no explaining that away.

Bai Yao brushed it off.

“It’s fine. It’s in the past now.”

She quickly changed the subject.

“Is this movie any good?”

“People say it’s pretty funny.”

Qiu Ye looked up at the screen as the Dragon Mark began to play.

“I saw it had a high rating online.”

Bai Yao actually liked comedies, even if she usually didn’t show much expression and didn’t like to laugh.

As the movie started, she held the popcorn bucket and leaned back lazily.

She tilted her body, resting it against Qiu Ye’s shoulder.

“Want some?”

Qiu Ye instinctively opened his mouth, accepting Bai Yao’s feeding.

Bai Yao’s mind, however, was entirely occupied by the **Task**.

Making her take the initiative to kiss Qiu Ye—especially in a public place—was a bit too intense! Although the theater was pitch black with only the screen providing light, the sense of shame was still overwhelming.

The more she thought about it, the more panicked she became.

She straightened her back slightly and leaned toward Qiu Ye’s ear.

“Where should we go after the movie? There’s a popular seafood hotpot place. Want to try it?”

“Up to you. Go eat dinner? Sure.”

He turned his head away, avoiding Bai Yao’s warm breath.

“Stop it. My ears are ticklish.”

“Oh.”

Bai Yao stopped immediately and obediently leaned back against his shoulder to watch the movie.

To be honest, it wasn’t very good.

Although it was a romantic comedy, the romantic parts weren’t sweet enough to make her envious; they weren’t even as good as couples showing off on short video apps.

The comedy didn’t make her laugh either, as she had a high bar for humor.

She let out a bored yawn, feeling a bit sleepy.

But in the next moment, she suddenly felt a hand land on her thigh.

Bai Yao looked down, watching Qiu Ye’s hand slide back and forth, stroking her leg.

She looked up again, seeing Qiu Ye’s perfectly serious expression.

He looked so upright, yet he was touching her thigh in secret.

The silk stockings wrapped around her legs, providing a tight, slightly cool sensation.

Even through the layer of silk, Bai Yao could clearly feel the heat from Qiu Ye’s palm.

It instantly chased away the cold, leaving a fiery trail across her thigh.

Bai Yao relaxed slightly and gave Qiu Ye an annoyed glare, but he didn’t even look at her; his eyes remained fixed on the screen.

Just then, the male and female leads in the movie were embracing in an ambiguous moment.

Bai Yao felt the atmosphere in reality becoming increasingly suggestive.

Her breathing and heartbeat quickened, and a restless, heavy sensation tugged at her lower abdomen.

Both ashamed and annoyed, she reached out to push Qiu Ye’s hand aside.

This guy was trying to embarrass her on purpose.

After teasing her, Qiu Ye just started eating fries as if nothing had happened, though he was likely laughing to himself.

Unable to let it go, Bai Yao tugged at the hem of his shirt.

“Come closer.”

Qiu Ye lowered his head, leaning in.

“Hmm?”

“A bit closer.”

Suddenly, Bai Yao snapped her head up.

Qiu Ye felt a touch of softness on his lips that vanished as soon as it arrived.

His eyes widened significantly.

This girl was bolder than he had imagined.

“That’s it?” Qiu Ye whispered, looking at Bai Yao expectantly.

“What else did you want?”

Bai Yao glanced at Qiu Ye’s lower body, then stood up and sat in the empty seat next to them.

She pulled away to avoid being teased again.

In any case, the **Task** was complete.

‘I’ll tease him and then run. You can just sit there and suffer.’

As she expected, a kiss didn’t feel like anything special; it was just the emotional embarrassment.

Otherwise, what could it be?

“What are you doing?”
