“Goodbye, please rest well.” Bishop Otuo stood up to bid farewell.
“Goodbye, I will have them report on time.” Qingshamu spoke much more amiably.
Bishop Otuo felt something was strange, but he couldn’t put his finger on it, so he left.
“Baicheng, Little Black, come here.”
Qingshamu quickly found the two little ones and began teaching them the Secret Technique for attending school tomorrow, a devious smile hanging on her face from time to time.
“Understood.” White Feather Dove nodded and listened intently.
“I see.” The Black Dragon, on the other hand, was listening in a daze, but since her big sister was leading her, she wasn’t worried at all.
—————
Early the next morning, White Feather Dove took the Admission Notice and led the Black Dragon to report to the so-called Holy Knight Second Company.
“Have a safe trip, and remember what I taught you yesterday.”
Qingshamu did not go with them; she let them go to school on their own to cultivate their independence.
White Feather Dove also felt strange.
Based on her impression of the Evil Father, that incredibly naggy fellow would surely grumble for a long time.
Yet today, he actually let them go so decisively.
This couldn’t help but make Baicheng nervous.
Was the Evil Father cooking up some Secret plan?
He wouldn’t do something indecent to Mother while they were away, would he?
Forget it, better to focus on what was in front of her and help her dummy Younger Sister through this ordeal first.
This Saint Lisha Academy was very strange because it was built inside a crevice in the Rock Mountain.
There wasn’t much usable space, so every inch had to be utilized.
Many buildings could be seen constructed on the cliffs, which was quite peculiar.
Furthermore, although it was called Saint Lisha Academy, the inside looked entirely like a combat fortress composed of barracks.
The classroom they arrived at was a barracks, with several church workshops surrounding a Training Ground. This was the Training Field of the Holy Knight Second Company.
The two walked in and saw the entire personnel of the Holy Knight Second Company already lined up and waiting for them.
There were several regular Holy Knights; they were the Instructors.
Besides them, there were dozens of young trainee church knights. They were likely the Apprentices. It really was teaching, though there wasn’t a hint of a school atmosphere.
Demonic Beasts in the Demon Domain imitated the Human Race by creating Noble schools, pretending to be civilized and cultured there.
But the highest level of education established by the Human Race was a pure military academy, focused primarily on teaching combat skills.
“Which one of you is the Hero?” The Second Company Commander walked out slowly and spoke in a deep, majestic voice.
“It’s her.” White Feather Dove pointed at Heiqi Long.
“It doesn’t matter. The news I received is that there are two new students. I don’t care if you’re a Hero or whatever. Our Second Company is an elite Holy Knight unit; we absolutely will not take trash,” the Second Company Commander snorted.
“Xiuni, Anada, step forward!” the Vice Company Commander beside him barked. “You two test the strength of these new students.”
“If you’re not up to par, even if you’re a Hero, get out,” the Second Company Commander snorted.
Subsequently, two young church knight students, a male and a female, stepped out and stood before the two of them.
“Where is your Sword?” the Vice Company Commander asked Heiqi Long.
“If you want to fight, then come. Don’t waste my time with nonsense,” Heiqi Long said harsh words with an innocent face.
This gave the students a fright; no Apprentice had ever dared to speak to the Vice Company Commander like that.
“Be careful, don’t hurt anyone.” White Feather Dove took two steps back, intending to watch the show from the sidelines without any intention of taking action.
“I know,” Heiqi Long nodded.
“Don’t be too arrogant!” The two knight Apprentices drew their Swords, assumed their stances, and began to surround Heiqi Long from left and right.
They didn’t dare be careless.
This person was supposedly a Hero, after all, though she didn’t have even a trace of a Hero’s aura.
She looked more like a street thug; they had no idea how she had gotten in.
However, it was true that many Heroes were bumpkins from the countryside.
They had to undergo a wave of suppression from the Nobles to learn how to be a proper Hero; otherwise, everything would fall into chaos.
“What are you still waiting for?” Heiqi Long looked left and right, then yawned, letting them make the first move.
This was truly arrogant beyond belief.
No one present, whether Apprentice or Instructor, had ever seen such an arrogant fellow.
Moreover, Blackie naturally looked like someone with her nose held high in the air.
Unlike Baicheng, who still had to learn how to act cool, Blackie didn’t need to learn.
She was a natural-born representative of pretentiousness; even if she just sat there doing nothing, it made people want to give her a beating.
The two knight Apprentices charged forward, one with a vertical slash and the other with a horizontal one.
Their coordination was seamless, making the attack difficult to dodge.
“Bang! Bang!”
Naturally, Heiqi Long wouldn’t dodge such an attack. She reached out with both claws and caught the two sharp knight Swords.
Everyone was startled again. Was this really something a human could do?
The two knight Apprentices tried to pull their Swords back but couldn’t. Their weapons felt like they were clamped by iron pincers; even using all their strength, the Swords didn’t budge an inch.
Blackie had been playing high-level matches since she was born; suddenly entering a new version made it feel like a low-level match instead.
These so-called genius Swordsmanship Apprentices were like ants before Blackie. Probably only the Holy Knight Second Company Commander could exchange a few blows with her.
Heiqi Long gave a push, and the two knight Apprentices were thrown onto the ground, their knight Swords flying out of their hands.
It was a massive disgrace for a knight to be unable to hold their Sword, but now no one blamed them. This girl was truly bizarre.
Furthermore, the Human Race had no means of checking for foreign Undercover agents. Both Heiqi Long and White Feather Dove had been scanned by the Magic of a White-clothed Priest, and no abnormalities were found.
However, if one wanted to infiltrate the Demonkind as an Undercover agent, they had to be a ruthless person like Kenshamu, one in ten thousand, who could master Aura Concealment Magic. Otherwise, they would be exposed within a second of entering.
Yet, a top-tier talent like Qingshamu was fired as soon as she returned. Various signs indicated that the Human Race was extremely unreliable.
“So, how is it? Does our New Hero pass?” White Feather Dove stood behind, acting as Heiqi Long’s spokesperson.
“Interesting. Let me test you myself,” the Holy Knight Second Company Commander said in a deep voice, actually preparing to step in personally.
This caused a massive commotion. Everyone backed away to watch the show, avoiding getting caught in the crossfire.
Even Apprentices from other companies sneaked over to watch. A crowd suddenly gathered outside the wooden fence.
White Feather Dove was also startled by how quickly the Human Race gathered to watch a scene. They were much more enthusiastic than the lazy Demonic Beasts. There weren’t many people on the road before; how did so many suddenly pop up?
“Second Company Commander, if we defeat you, can we go to the First Company? And if we defeat the First Company Commander, can we become the Holy Knight Grandmaster?” White Feather Dove asked in all seriousness.
