“Hmph… That idiot, Field is an idiot!”
Liyakade charged into the forest, accelerating again.
She dashed through the woods frantically, as if fleeing from something.
After running a great distance, she shouted out as if to vent her frustration.
She was now a long way from the camp where the caravan was stationed.
There was absolutely no way anyone could hear her even if she screamed her lungs out here.
“Idiot.”
Liyakade stopped in front of a massive tree.
She weakly pounded her small fist against the trunk, then suddenly lashed out with full force, smashing a deep dent into the wood.
“What do you want to know about my sad past for anyway? I was hiding it so you wouldn’t get upset, so why do you have to put on such a pitiful act?!”
Liyakade continued berating Alice’s behavior and lack of understanding as she struck the trunk again.
CRACK—!
Under Liyakade’s two violent blows, the thick tree trunk was punched clean through.
The entire tree snapped and fell heavily to the ground, kicking up clouds of dust.
Numerous birds in the bushes were startled by the sudden tremor and flew off with alarmed cries.
Even the strongest Fighter or Magic Swordswoman in the Kingdom would find it difficult to punch through a tree as thick as two men could wrap their arms around, the way Liyakade did.
After all, Liyakade possessed top-tier Demon Bloodline.
Her physical capabilities far surpassed what ordinary humans could match.
The rising dust accidentally got inhaled by the still-agitated Liyakade.
She coughed uncomfortably, her expression pained, and fanned her jade-like hand in front of her face to disperse the dust.
“Cough, cough… how annoying…”
Liyakade felt like everything was going wrong today.
Even the airborne dust seemed to be bullying her.
She quickly channeled her Magic Power, manipulating the Wind Element to blow all the dust away.
It wasn’t until the surrounding air had cleared that Liyakade gradually calmed down.
Perhaps it was because she had vented on the tree, but Liyakade now felt her mood had settled slightly.
Reflecting on her argument with Alice and Field earlier, she realized she had indeed been a bit extreme.
But it wasn’t entirely her fault.
Lately, Liyakade had been suffering from the fear brought on by the Light Element.
On top of that, drinking the caravan’s Water Source had caused her to be poisoned by some unknown Strange Toxin.
Alice could perform Purification for Field and herself, but she couldn’t do the same for Liyakade.
Liyakade could only rely on her Demon Bloodline to withstand the Poison.
Although the toxins couldn’t actually harm her, they still affected her emotions significantly.
That was one of the reasons she had been so agitated earlier.
“I just don’t get it…”
Liyakade sat down against the trunk she had just felled.
‘Why does Alice have to look so pitiful, like I’m the one bullying her?’
Alice’s current state was even worse than when Liyakade had first transmigrated and seen the Original Host bullying her.
Liyakade didn’t understand what she had done to provoke Alice.
She had been painstakingly hiding her fear of the Light Element, terrified that Alice would be hurt by it.
But Alice simply didn’t appreciate it at all.
To be honest, Liyakade thought she had hidden it well, but in reality, Alice had noticed it from the very beginning.
Although they both seemed to want to avoid worrying each other, it only ended up creating misunderstandings.
“Forget it. It’s not really something I can’t talk about anyway. If it causes a bigger misunderstanding over something like this, it wouldn’t be worth it.”
Liyakade leaned against the fallen trunk and sat down.
After calming down and thinking things through, she decided to rest here for a bit before going back to apologize to them and explain everything clearly to Alice.
After a while, the Sun was about to set.
Liyakade stood up, brushed the dust off her clothes and skirt, and prepared to return to the caravan’s camp to find Alice and Field.
But just then, she caught a strange scent in the air.
It was the scent of other humans—and far more than just one!
Although everything looked normal within her field of vision, Liyakade possessed the Demon Bloodline.
Her five senses far surpassed ordinary humans, and she had an exceptionally strong perception of Magic Power, aura, and even emotions.
Even though she couldn’t see them, she could sense many humans harboring hostility hidden nearby.
‘Bandits? Or highwaymen? No… these auras… they feel somewhat familiar…’
Upon sensing the presence, Liyakade didn’t react immediately.
Instead, she continued as before, maintaining a slightly sulky, seemingly unhappy expression.
But this was just a facade on Liyakade’s part.
In reality, her mind was on high alert.
She was only putting on this act to make those surrounding her let their guard down.
After all, Liyakade possessed Demon Bloodline.
Even if those people launched a surprise attack, her speed would ensure she could defend or dodge in time.
At first, Liyakade thought these people were Bandits or something similar.
But their auras felt very familiar to her, as if she had sensed them somewhere before.
Suddenly, Liyakade remembered where she had encountered this familiar aura.
These were the Guards from Vidar’s side!
She had crossed paths with them before!
‘Hmph. I knew that dog wasn’t up to any good. As expected from someone who could say something like that. Now he’s setting his sights on me?’
Liyakade instantly guessed Vidar’s intentions.
After all, Vidar was the scum who could utter words like “Women are Goods.”
It wasn’t surprising that he would try to make a move on her now that she was alone.
No wonder Vidar wanted to discuss business with them.
So he really did have ulterior motives regarding her.
Vidar had truly picked the wrong target this time.
Liyakade happened to feel like she hadn’t fully vented yet.
She might as well use these small fries to practice and let off some steam.
Of course, Liyakade wouldn’t kill these people, nor would she attack them first.
If they simply stayed hidden obediently, she might forgive them this once.
But if they made a move, then they couldn’t blame her for being ruthless.
She wouldn’t kill them, but she would at least break a few of their arms.
Just then, an Abyssal Shadow lunged out from the Shrub behind her, charging at Liyakade at incredible speed—so fast that only a blur of black could be seen.
The figure was about to grab Liyakade from behind when she suddenly leaped up, her form appearing like a ghost at a diagonal angle behind the Abyssal Shadow.
“You’ve picked the wrong opponent. Did you know that?”
