“You’ve been holding me long enough. Can you let go now?”
Su Ling pushed against her. This person had been holding him so tightly that it was starting to make him feel a bit uncomfortable.
Upon hearing this, Ye Moran finally let go reluctantly. She cupped the Little Fellow’s face and pressed a kiss onto his forehead.
“Alright, go wash up, Little Fellow. Once you’re done, we have to catch a plane. If there’s enough time, I can even take you to breakfast!”
“I know!”
Su Ling curled his lip and walked toward the bathroom.
Standing before the bathroom mirror, Su Ling touched the top of his head. Those two small bumps seemed to have grown larger than before, so much so that his hair could barely hide them!
‘What on earth is this?’
Even after carefully covering them with his hair, he still felt uneasy.
He couldn’t figure out what these things were, and it would be a lie to say he wasn’t afraid of something suddenly growing on his head!
Sometimes, he even wondered if he was turning into some kind of monster, like in those Superhero blockbusters where someone gets bitten by something and mutates.
While that might look cool and grant powerful strength, those characters’ appearances usually didn’t change. His appearance, however, was clearly changing!
His imagination even began to run wild. ‘Could I actually be a Villain?’
Regardless of what they were, he didn’t like these two things growing on his head. More importantly, there was another issue at the base of his spine.
Was there something there too?
At the position of his tailbone, he could feel a small protrusion every time he touched it. It had the same texture as the ones on his head.
‘Am I really going to become some kind of little monster?’
“Are you ready?”
The voice coming from outside the door pulled him back from his thoughts. He picked up the facial cleanser and toothbrush and began to wash up.
No matter what, he couldn’t let her discover his problem. What if Sister didn’t want him anymore because he was a monster?
He didn’t want to be abandoned by his sister, and he certainly didn’t want to be abandoned after becoming a monster…
His mind raced with wild thoughts. By the time he finished washing up, half an hour had passed. He opened the door to see Ye Moran standing there, already packed and waiting for him.
“Sorry, I — “
“It’s fine, Little Fellow. I’ve already rescheduled the flight, so there’s no need to rush.”
Ye Moran walked over and gently stroked his head before he could finish his apology.
“What happened? You don’t look like you’re in a very good mood. Do you not want to go on the trip?”
“No, it’s not that…”
Su Ling shook his head and then fell silent. He couldn’t possibly tell her the secret on his head, but keeping it bottled up inside was making him feel miserable.
“Don’t want to talk about it?”

Su Ling remained silent. Ye Moran’s gaze drifted seemingly unintentionally toward the top of the Little Fellow’s head.
Thinking it over, that seemed to be the only thing that could put him in a bad mood. After all, judging by his behavior last night, he shouldn’t be angry with her anymore!
So, excluding the possibility that she had upset him, it could only be the things on his head that were making him unhappy.
It seemed she needed to find an opportunity to give the Little Fellow a hint so that he could adapt to his new ears and tail as soon as possible!
“Alright, don’t be sad. Let’s go, it’s time to head out!”
“Okay.”
Su Ling gave a soft response and followed her out.
The two of them reached the underground garage, where Qin Siyu had already been waiting for a long time.
“Is Sister Siyu coming with us too?”
Seeing Qin Siyu, Su Ling couldn’t help but ask out of curiosity.
“No, she’s only seeing us off at the airport. There are still things at the Ye Family Company that she needs to coordinate with me, so she can’t leave.”
“Oh.”
Ye Moran didn’t pay it much mind. This trip belonged exclusively to her and the Little Fellow; no one was allowed to disturb them!
After getting into the car, Su Ling immediately took a seat in the back row by the window. When Ye Moran tried to sit closer, Su Ling stopped her.
“Don’t come over. I want to be alone for a while, okay?”
“Alright.”
Ye Moran nodded with a strained smile.
Su Ling gave her a complicated look. He didn’t want her to get too close and discover the secret on his body.
In the past, the two small things on his head weren’t obvious, and there was almost nothing at his tailbone, so he hadn’t needed to worry.
But now, the growths in those two spots were very noticeable even when covered. He could only try his best to keep his distance.
Ye Moran leaned one hand against the car window, tilting her head to stare at the Little Fellow. She sighed silently in her heart.
‘This Little Fellow is still a bit silly.’
She had been sleeping with him every night, so how could she not be perfectly aware of every change in him? To think he was still trying to hide from her like this.
But his silliness was also her own doing. She could only swallow the bitter fruit she had planted herself!
Once they arrived at the airport, Ye Moran still managed to take the Little Fellow’s hand as she wished. Su Ling didn’t resist much because he was currently wearing a baseball cap that perfectly concealed the things on his head.
Even if he was close to her, she probably wouldn’t find out.
Thinking of this, his mood improved, and he even managed to show a rare smile on the plane.
Sitting in the first-class seat, Su Ling couldn’t help but look out the window. The plane flew through the clouds, passing layer after layer of white. He could see a cloud formation that looked just like a giant marshmallow!
Especially when looking down from a high altitude, he saw a landscape of green forests, hills, and lakes reflecting the blue sky. It was exceptionally beautiful.
He was dazed by the sight. This was his first time taking a plane and his first time leaving H City. His parents had suggested taking him out to play before, but for some reason, it always ended up coming to nothing.
Maybe they were afraid he would encounter some kind of danger outside?
Ye Moran sat beside the Little Fellow, her head turned to watch him. If it weren’t for the fact that one couldn’t move around freely on a plane, she really would have wanted to pull him into her arms.
She had been thinking about taking the Little Fellow out to play for a long time, and now she had finally done it.
After several hours of flight, the plane finally landed. As soon as Ye Moran stepped out of the airport with the Little Fellow, several people came jogging toward them.
“Hello, CEO Ye. I was arranged to receive you. You can call me Xiao Chen.”
“Mm. Take me to where we’re staying first. You don’t need to worry about anything else.”
“Of course.”
Ye Moran’s tone was cold. The aura she unconsciously radiated was so intimidating that the group barely dared to breathe.
Even Su Ling, standing to the side, felt inexplicably nervous.
He didn’t breathe a sigh of relief until they got into the car, at which point he couldn’t help but steal a curious glance at her.
