After that conversation, Liyakade and the others finally decided on their goal for the immediate future: to cross the Magic Domain, reach Korim’s Territory, and obtain the inheritance.

Of course, they first had to solve the problem of the caravan’s water source.

“You… are you all okay now?”

Seeing that Liyakade, Feide, and Alice had gotten through the entire night without incident and were now walking out of the tent together, chatting and laughing, Natalia knew that the conflict between them had likely eased.

She felt a mix of emotions.

Feide nodded, responding to Natalia, whose expression was complicated.

“No, nothing… just a little tired from the night watch.”

Natalia’s expression turned awkward.

But not only Graham was present—Vidar and Walter were also there.

Seeing Liyakade obediently following behind Feide today as if nothing had happened, Vidar was furious.

It was all Rekesi’s fault for being incompetent.

Otherwise, Liyakade would not be behind that Feide right now; she would be in his tent, warming his bed, waiting for his pleasure.

Just then, Vidar suddenly noticed a slightly affectionate gaze directed his way.

He followed the source and found that it was Liyakade, standing beside Feide.

This surprised Vidar greatly.

He thought that perhaps he had consumed too much Purple Mist Vine Grass in the past two days, which had caused the hallucinations.

Still uneasy, he asked Rekesi again.

“Rekesi, are you sure they didn’t find out your origin?”

“I’m sure, my lord. The Dark Guards carried no identifying tokens, and when they were captured, they activated the self-immolation prohibition and burned themselves to death.”

“That’s good…”

Hearing Rekesi’s response, Vidar felt he was simply overthinking.

As for Walter, on the other side, he wasn’t too surprised to see them safe and sound.
