Lavinia did not explain to Anna Medias’ angry question. Instead, she said something inexplicable, which made Anna Medias feel greatly insulted, her entire body trembling with anger.
“Ha, still so arrogant! Fine! I’ll finish you off right now! Use your deaths to mourn Brian!!!”
Anna Medias roared with half of her face now bearing several more cracks. As she roared, several large fireballs appeared around her. Although using a high-level spell without incantation drastically reduces its effectiveness, Anna Medias was blinded by rage and didn’t care. She only wanted to get rid of these annoying pests quickly.
Eleanor had long since completed her prayer. A thick barrier manifested around everyone, and a crown-like illusion appeared above their heads, making them feel as if bathed in warm sunlight.
Kolin acted first, directly releasing “Holy Light Art: Shield.” He condensed a holy light shield in front of him and quickly charged toward Anna Medias, hoping to draw all her fire onto himself.
Anna Medias was clearly not fooled by such a simple provocation. She knew she could never finish Kolin in a short time, so she still prioritized targeting Liyami and Eleanor. As for Lavinia, because of her inexplicable revival earlier, Anna Medias likely wouldn’t target her until she figured it out.
Blazing fireballs flew toward Liyami, but perhaps because Anna Medias was too angry, their aim seemed poor. Liyami simply tilted her head, and the fireball brushed past her.
But before Liyami could relax, the fireball that had just passed her suddenly exploded. Within the exploding flames, several magic missiles that had been poised to strike shot toward Liyami’s back. Fortunately, Liyami still had Eleanor’s blessing on her, so she only suffered a minor injury from blocking this sudden attack.
Meanwhile, Eleanor was in a similar situation. It seemed that although Anna Medias was furious, she hadn’t lost her head over it.
After throwing the fireballs, Anna Medias began chanting. With a flicker, she vanished from her spot, and the charging Kolin immediately struck empty air.
The moment Anna Medias disappeared, Liyami swiftly merged into the shadows and left her original position.
Sure enough, after Liyami moved away, a large fireball struck her previous location. After the fireball dissipated, Anna Medias’s figure reappeared.
Seeing this, Liyami immediately controlled the shadows to press the attack, because she saw Anna Medias’s lips moving—she was chanting!
Unfortunately, Liyami was a step too slow. She felt a wave of heat rushing toward her and immediately retreated. In front of Anna Medias, a blazing red Fire Tornado was gradually taking shape, with flames occasionally flying out from it.
As soon as it formed, Anna Medias hurled it at Liyami. Fortunately, Liyami had already retreated far enough. Given the Fire Tornado’s slow movement speed, it likely wouldn’t catch her before it dispersed on its own.
Meanwhile, Lavinia’s arrows would not let Anna Medias off the hook at this perfect moment when she had just finished chanting and hadn’t yet cast her next spell!
The powerfully shot arrow pierced the fragile barrier Anna Medias hastily raised, finally stopped by her left arm.
Looking at the arrow that had nearly pierced her entire left arm, Anna Medias’s expression turned extremely grim. If this continued, she might really be finished by these humans!
On the other side, after his first missed charge, Kolin did not continue pursuing. Instead, he first summoned a barrier to seal off the entire space, then erected a powerful barrier around himself to ensure he wouldn’t be disturbed by external forces.
Then, he began charging “Holy Light Judgment.” This time, he would use the strongest charged form to finish the opponent!
Anna Medias didn’t know what that Holy Knight was doing, but she had a premonition that if she let him stay put, what would happen next would not go her way!
Although she wanted to stop the Holy Knight’s actions, Anna Medias found it difficult to get close to him, not only because of the multiple barriers around him but also because of these annoyingly persistent insects who were much lower-level than her!
Every time she tried to get close to the Holy Knight, arrows blocked her path. The constantly appearing beams of light and the elusive shadows also prevented her from focusing on any single opponent. Anna Medias knew that with her current strength, she might really be unable to deal with these humans!
The thought of fleeing arose in Anna Medias’s mind, but she looked around—all the passageways and walls had been coated with the Holy Knight’s barrier. While she could break through, it would take some time, and in that time, these guys definitely wouldn’t stand by and watch!
As time dragged on, the sense of crisis grew stronger along with the increasingly radiant sword in the Holy Knight’s hand. Anna Medias had to make a risky decision.
She stopped darting around and instead stood still, allowing arrows, beams of light, and blades from the shadows to strike her. She placed both hands on the ground, never wavering despite any attack, and continued chanting without interruption. Now everyone knew something terrible was about to happen!
Liyami, being closest, was the first to sense the danger. She immediately distanced herself from the casting Anna Medias and prepared to retreat to Kolin’s side. Eleanor and Lavinia did the same; realizing their attacks couldn’t interrupt her, they all moved toward Kolin, who had the strongest defenses.
But before they could reach Kolin, Anna Medias’s spellcasting ended.
Suddenly, cracks appeared on the ground, with an ominous red light surging within them. Before anyone could understand what was happening, towering Pillars of Flame burst out from the fissures.
Not only that, but several Fire Tornadoes gradually formed on the ground. Once they fully materialized, even the barriers around Kolin would be unable to stop them.
Seeing this, everyone’s expressions turned grim. Lavinia first leaped sideways to avoid a sudden Pillar of Flame, then pulled out a special arrow with leaf-like tail feathers and quickly shot it toward Kolin.
In the split second before being swallowed by an approaching Fire Tornado, Lavinia’s figure vanished from her spot and instantly appeared beside Kolin.
Liyami, meanwhile, wove frantically among the erupting Pillars of Flame, carefully dodging the bursts while finally covering the remaining distance to Kolin. She too reached Kolin’s side.
As for Eleanor, she had been near Kolin from the start and had already reached him before the Pillars of Flame rose. Now she was reinforcing the nearby barriers with prayer.
Seeing everyone regrouped, Anna Medias revealed a sneering smile. She seemed to have anticipated this moment. Instantly, almost the entire floor of the room was covered with expanding Pillars of Flame.
All the Fire Tornadoes on the battlefield converged and moved toward Kolin. This time, even if the Fire Tornadoes moved slowly, there was no way they could escape.
