Qingshamu came to the basement, sat down beside the bed, and looked at the sleeping profile of Feini.
After admiring her for a while, it was time to work.
She moved a sturdy blackwood coffin over, lined it with soft quilts, and then picked up Feini, gently placing her inside.
“Feini, you’ll have to suffer a bit for now.” Qingshamu kissed Feini’s forehead and said affectionately, “I’ve already found a way to wake you up; it won’t be long now.”
Actually, White Feather Dove and Heiqi Long were still monitoring at the basement entrance. It was clear that the Hero had fully awakened and was sincere toward Mother.
They came over to help move the coffin out of the basement and then packed their luggage, as they were leaving this Manor tomorrow.
————
The next day, the Purple Bishop arrived at the Manor under the protection of a group of Holy Knights.
Qingshamu’s trio had prepared their Coach early and had already moved all their luggage onto the vehicle.
Although yesterday’s negotiations had progressed slowly, Qingshamu still cooperated obediently.
Otuo Bishop had nothing more to say and had the Holy Knights quickly escort them on their way; they had to be sent to Saint Lisha Academy to report immediately.
Soon, the caravan crossed the Preparation Plains and entered the Chaos Mountains. The ground began to grow steep, and the carriage swayed.
Qingshamu drove the Coach outside, while White Feather Dove and Heiqi Long stabilized Mother’s coffin inside.
“Big Sister, they say I’m some kind of Hero. What exactly is that?” Heiqi Long asked.
After going through so many things, she was no longer the carefree, silly dragon she used to be.
“Probably some kind of special profession? They seem to worship this profession, but it doesn’t matter. If anyone asks you, just say we are country bumpkins who don’t understand anything.” White Feather Dove began to teach her Younger Sister some nonsense.
“Got it.” Heiqi Long nodded.
Then they sat for a full half-day. It was only after dark that the caravan arrived at the so-called Saint Lisha Academy.
Qingshamu recognized this place; it was a very famous scenic spot in the Chaos Mountains called the Mole of the Earth.
It was a massive cylindrical rock mountain protruding from the ground like a mole on the earth’s surface, which was why it had that name.
The location they had now arrived at was called the Rift of the Mole.
It was a massive crack beside the rock pillar—in short, it was like a nested doll.
Saint Lisha Academy was built inside this giant crack.
No wonder the Holy Church could quickly establish a giant base in the Chaos Mountains; this place only required building a single wall to seal the opening.
It was easy to defend and hard to attack; everything inside the giant crack was under their control.
Furthermore, the wall had already been built—a fifty-meter-high white brick wall coated with Anti-Magic Coating, grand and beautiful.
“Rumble~ Rumble~”
When the caravan arrived at the gate, the sturdy city gate opened immediately. Before the sky turned completely dark, everyone hurried inside.
Once it got dark, all the roads they had just traveled would turn into dangerous areas because it was time for the Demonic Beasts to come out and hunt. The quiet forest would become a killing zone full of hidden perils.
After the city gate closed, the caravan finally stopped to rest, letting the horses eat some grass and drink some water; they had nearly run until they foamed at the mouth.
“Miss Qingshamu…” Otuo Bishop came to Qingshamu’s side, wanting to say something.
“Take us to see our residence,” Qingshamu said coldly.
“Alright, alright. Please follow me. A few knights, come help them move their luggage,” Otuo Bishop said.
“No need, we can move it ourselves.” White Feather Dove and Heiqi Long each carried a Large Backpack and then moved a magnificent, noble blackwood coffin down from the carriage.
This sight stunned everyone. When the items were moved down, the wheels even rose from the ground. These two girls possessed supernatural strength and were not even out of breath.
And why were they carrying a coffin everywhere? It was truly mysterious. Although everyone was full of questions, no one dared to speak up and ask. Right now, these people were the ones calling the shots; one could not speak recklessly.
Previously, dozens of high-ranking Saintly Officials had been demoted or nearly lost their lives because one person spoke out of turn. It was no joke.
The Pseudo-Demon trio followed Otuo Bishop to their brand-new residence. The Dormitory Building was actually a small chapel.
Fortunately, after entering, they found it was a compound residence with several independent Rooms in the back.
Opening the door, many daily necessities and supplies were piled next to the Hall.
White Feather Dove and Heiqi Long put down their Large Backpacks and moved the large coffin into a Room inside to settle in.
“Miss Qingshamu, are you satisfied?” Otuo Bishop asked.
“Of course I’m not satisfied. Who wants to live in a church? But never mind, I know you people don’t know how to build anything other than churches,” Qingshamu smiled bitterly.
“Then, can we talk about the enrollment matters for the New Hero?” Otuo Bishop smiled.
“Come this way.” Qingshamu and Otuo Bishop sat down on a nearby bench.
“First, let me introduce you to Saint Lisha Academy’s greatest innovation, which is the creation of the Magic Department. We are dedicated to allowing Magicians who are not from noble families to learn advanced Magic,” Otuo Bishop introduced proudly.
“Stop. Why are you introducing this to me?” Qingshamu asked.
“I hope to arrange for the New Hero to join the Magic Department,” Otuo Bishop said.
“…She doesn’t know Magic. What would she do in the Magic Department?” Qingshamu complained.
“What? How is that possible? Every Hero in history could use Magic,” Otuo Bishop exclaimed.
“Then I’m afraid I must disappoint you. Little Black doesn’t have a drop of Magic in her body. I’ve checked; she is a pure Mortal Bone,” Qingshamu said.
“I see.” Otuo Bishop was speechless. It seemed extremely difficult to accept, as the Holy Church’s secret creation of the Magic Department had offended the Magic families. Now, the Hero from the Prophecy wasn’t even a Magician?
“If you don’t believe it, you can have a priest come and check,” Qingshamu said.
Otuo Bishop actually did find a priest to conduct a round of Magic detection on Heiqi Long. Indeed, no Magic fluctuations could be felt from her; she was even cleaner than an ordinary person.
Even ordinary people have a trace of Magic fluctuations, though it is not enough to utilize or allow them to become a Magician.
A being like Heiqi Long, who was absolutely untouched by even a drop of Magic, was usually regarded as an ominous object by the Holy Church.
Of course, the dazed girl before them was the Hero, so that naturally didn’t apply. Instead, it became an auspicious omen; surely there must be something extraordinary about her for her to be so clean?
“Just let her train the same way I used to,” Qingshamu smiled.
“Yes, yes. Miss Qingshamu, please have them report to the Holy Knight Second Company tomorrow,” Otuo Bishop said helplessly.
