Back in the Blood Domain Cage…
“Sister! Sister, please wake up!”
At this moment, Eliza had already returned her body to Luna. Holding her sister’s body tightly, she cried, pleading for her to wake up.
Although Eliza had already released healing magic on her, Lusina still hadn’t regained consciousness. As her younger sister, she was extremely worried about her sister’s safety.
Nearby, Dai Lina was still deep in thought about Luna’s abnormal reactions just now. Or rather, she had been suspicious of them ever since the rescue began.
“We can’t let her escape! We have to catch her no matter what!”
Upon hearing the news that the female Blood Clan member had escaped, Dai Lina shouted anxiously, fearing that if she informed others, it would only bring greater trouble.
However, Luna ignored her shouting completely, showing no reaction at all.
“Hurry up and release this Blood Domain Cage! I want to find her!”
Dai Lina urged again, but Luna remained indifferent.
“……”
At that moment, Eliza turned to look at Dai Lina, her smile fading from her face.
“Are you ordering me around?”
Eliza’s tone carried an undeniable authority, immediately diminishing Dai Lina’s confidence.
“S-sorry.” Realizing she had lost her composure due to her emotions, Dai Lina quickly apologized.
But Eliza was not angry over such a minor matter; she simply said lightly, “…You don’t need to be so nervous. She won’t get away.”
Not long after, No. 1 and No. 7 returned, carrying the corpse of the woman.
When Dai Lina first saw them, she raised her gun warily, but after confirming the corpse was that of the woman and hearing Eliza’s words, she lowered her weapon.
“Are you satisfied now?”
Eliza said to Dai Lina.
“…Oh.”
“Dispose of these bodies completely. Don’t leave any traces.”
“Yes, ma’am!”
Following the order, No. 1 and No. 7 immediately set to work, carrying the bodies into a Portal. Dai Lina watched curiously as they entered and exited through the Portal repeatedly.
Where exactly were they transporting the bodies?
Dai Lina wondered in her heart.
After the two finished handling the bodies, they disappeared through the Portal.
“All done. Everything that needed to be done is done. I’m going back now.”
“Going back?”
Dai Lina looked at her in confusion. Luna’s behavior had been strange from start to finish.
Could it be that she was possessed by some weird force?
At this point, Dai Lina could only come to that conclusion. She really didn’t understand her strange actions.
What troubled her even more were those two “comrades” from before.
It was obvious they obeyed Luna without question, and she couldn’t imagine any other explanation.
“Oh, right.” Just as Eliza was about to switch back to controlling her own body, she suddenly seemed to remember something.
“If this girl asks what happened later, don’t say it was me. Just say you drove them away.” With that, Eliza logged off and returned control of the body to Luna.
“You’re…” Dai Lina was about to ask for clarification, but Luna ignored her and went straight to her sister’s side, holding her tightly.
Dai Lina’s question would have to wait until later.
…Anyway, there’s still time in the future; it’s not too late to ask.

“Ugh…”
After an unknown length of time, Lusina finally woke up.
“Sister!”
Luna’s heart, which had been holding its breath, finally relaxed when she saw her sister regain consciousness. The strength of her embrace unconsciously increased.
“That’s great, Sister! You’re finally awake!”
Luna said excitedly.
“Ugh… You’re hugging me so tightly, little sister…” Lusina gasped, feeling a bit breathless as she reminded her.
“Sister…”
Luna responded with a slight sob in her voice; she was truly terrified of losing her sister.
Luckily, she had Eliza. Without her, who knew what would have happened…
“By the way, what’s the situation now?”
Little Xi pushed herself out of Luna’s arms and looked toward Dai Lina. Her memory only stretched back to the moment before being knocked out by those three Blood Clan members; she knew nothing of what happened afterward.
Dai Lina remembered Luna’s earlier instructions and, despite her doubts, responded according to what Luna had said.
“The Blood Clan was driven away just now. We’re safe now, Little Xi.”
“They… all ran away?”
“Yes, I drove them off. We’re safe for the time being.”
“That’s good…” Lusina sighed with relief upon hearing they were safe.
She tried to stand, but her body suddenly weakened and she collapsed back to the ground.
“Be careful, Sister!”
Luna quickly stepped forward and helped steady her, supporting her to stand.
“So what do we do now?”
Little Xi asked this question. Even though they were safe now, none of the three of them knew how to get out.
Eliza, in Spirit Form, heard her and quietly release the Blood Domain Cage.
After experiencing a brief dizziness, they returned to the real world. Once out of the Blood Domain Cage, they finally breathed a complete sigh of relief.
“I thought I was going to die…” Luna helped her sister onto a bench and then sighed deeply, looking up at the sky.
If not for Eliza, all three of them might have died…
After watching Eliza’s “spectacular” performance, Luna felt even more mysterious about her. At the very least, she was certain Eliza was no ordinary person!
She was strong—or rather, extremely strong. Luna now had reason to believe that some of what Eliza said to her back at the training ground was true.
Maybe she really could defeat everyone at the Academy…
And those two mysterious Demons—Eliza called them No. 1 and No. 7—and they obeyed Eliza without question. What was the meaning behind those numbers?
Why did they appear here?
These were questions Luna desperately wanted answered.
However, Eliza kept these secrets from her. Such secrets were obviously not so easily uncovered.
Thinking this, Luna sighed.
If only she could get Eliza to tell her everything in one go!
“Here, Little Xi, have a drink.”
Dai Lina bought some drinks from the Vending Machine nearby and handed them to Little Xi, hoping to help her regain some strength.
“Thank you…”
After taking a sip, Lusina finally voiced the question she had been wanting to ask.
“By the way, why did they attack us? It seemed like their target was you, Dai Lina. Aren’t you going to explain?”
Dai Lina stopped drinking and was silent for a few seconds when asked.
“I don’t know. They seem to have mistaken me for someone else.”
After weighing her options, Dai Lina chose not to reveal the truth. After all, if Lusina and the others knew about her Demon identity, even the most basic friendship might be impossible to maintain.
“Mistaken identity…”
Little Xi was somewhat confused by that. Who could possibly be confused with Dai Lina?
“So what do we do now?”
Luna suddenly asked the two of them what their next move was.
“I think we should report this to the Hunter Association first. After all, this is a Demon attack.”
Lusina wanted to report directly to the Hunter Association, but her proposal was immediately rejected by Dai Lina.
“No, right now we should go back to the Academy first. This attack might not be the only one. If we go to the Hunter Association now, they might be prepared and block us. So my suggestion is to return to the Academy first.”
Dai Lina’s reasoning made sense. As long as they were back at the Academy, they would be safe. Those Demons wouldn’t be foolish enough to break into a human Academy—unless they didn’t care about being discovered.
Another reason Dai Lina didn’t want to go was her special identity. Hundreds of eyes were watching her there, and if she slipped up in front of them…
Wouldn’t she be walking straight into a tiger’s den?
“But if we go to the Hunter Association, wouldn’t we be safe too? The Demons definitely wouldn’t dare to go there.”
Lusina insisted, believing the Hunter Association was the safer option.
But Dai Lina was absolutely against it.
The two fell into a stalemate. It was Luna who broke the deadlock.
“Actually, I also think going back to the Academy first is better, Sister.” Luna suddenly said, listening in.
Little Xi looked at her sister in confusion.
“Why?”
“Listen to me, we can just go back to the Academy and tell Mom and Dad. Don’t forget, our parents know…”
By now Luna’s intention was clear, and Little Xi immediately had an enlightened expression.
“That’s right! We just need to tell Mom and Dad. That’s a great idea.”
At this point, Lusina no longer insisted on going to the Hunter Association.
What were they even arguing about?
Only Dai Lina was left completely bewildered, not understanding what the two sisters were talking about.
“So, Sister, let’s just go back and find Mom and Dad first.”
“All right.”
Who can tell me how they changed their minds so suddenly!?
