“Heh… that is exactly as I wished!”
After enduring a full-power blow infused with most of Blazing Flame’s Magic Power, Sapphire’s body was forced back dozens of meters.
Cracks suddenly appeared at the corners of her mouth and around her eyes, dripping black blood.
With the fatal blow landed, Blazing Flame felt the blue-black mist surrounding her dissipate significantly, and visibility within the Great Hall increased.
It seemed that as long as she kept attacking until Sapphire was knocked unconscious, this farce could be declared over ahead of schedule.
Blazing Flame gazed coldly at the mist not far away, having already made up her mind.
She did not intend to hold back.
If she lowered the intensity of her attacks out of fear of accidentally killing Sapphire, she would be unable to defeat Sapphire in her Emotion Outburst.
She did not have as much Magic Power for combat as Sapphire did.
She had already consumed too much Magic Power just to break free from that stagnant sensation earlier.
The power remaining on her Bracelet was only fifty-seven millionths; she had no chance of winning a war of attrition against Sapphire.
She had to settle this quickly.
“Die!”
Another roar-like shout was followed by the familiar sensation of her body slowing down.
Blazing Flame snorted coldly. Before the azure light could hit her, she accelerated again, breaking free from Sapphire’s control with extraordinary movement speed.
But as she moved instantly to Sapphire’s side, Blazing Flame’s eyelids suddenly twitched violently, as if some unavoidable risk was about to occur.
Driven by instinct, Blazing Flame subconsciously gave up this easily obtainable attack and chose to retreat.
It turned out that Blazing Flame’s choice was correct.
The moment she left Sapphire’s side, a brilliant pillar of light exploded, reducing all the structures around Sapphire to rubble.
The ceiling of the Warehouse was trembling, and the surrounding concrete walls were in a precarious state.
If the two of them exchanged a few more blows, this Warehouse would likely be turned into scorched earth.
After successfully dodging that dangerous strike, Blazing Flame breathed a long sigh of relief, her heart pounding wildly.
If she had chosen to ignore the risk and force an attack just now, she probably would have been heavily injured by Sapphire’s Light Cannon.
As expected of Sapphire.
Even after losing her sanity, she still possessed such excellent combat experience.
Knowing that control methods were ineffective against her, did she choose to use control first to expose a flaw and then plant a Trap in advance for her to step into?
What a hassle.
It could be said that this battle with Sapphire was the most dangerous one Blazing Flame had experienced since obtaining her Boost Form.
Unlike her previous battles with Shadow Beasts, the outcome of this fight could be decided in a single move.
It was like a life-or-death duel between two opposing soldiers with Guns in modern warfare; whoever fired first and hit the opponent’s vital parts would win the battle.
A battle of using acceleration to deal with deceleration…
How interesting.
“Heh… heh… Humans of this world! All of you, die!”
“As long as everyone is dead, no suffering will be born!”
“This way, no one will cry because of sadness!”
Sapphire panted heavily, growling nonsense as she raised her hand to launch another attack at Blazing Flame.
It began with the familiar sensation of body sluggishness, followed by an azure light aiming at her, initiating an active attack.
Facing this potentially fatal move, Blazing Flame remained calm.
She had already found a way to break the situation.
Blazing Flame let out a low grunt and accelerated herself again, breaking free from the artificial deceleration imposed by Sapphire.
After several rapid movements, she arrived near Sapphire and threw the Spear in her hand toward her.
The Spear lunged straight forward, aiming for Sapphire’s heart.
“Heh!”
Sapphire roared, instantly controlling the Spear flying toward her in mid-air, causing it to fly forward extremely slowly, as if in slow motion.
But Blazing Flame had already anticipated Sapphire’s reaction.
When Sapphire actively delayed the Spear’s flight time, Blazing Flame had already thrown the Shield in her hand into the air and then kicked it away with a high leg strike.
The target was still Sapphire’s heart.
After receiving this kick from the high-speed Blazing Flame, the Shield’s flight speed instantly became exaggerated.
It could reach Sapphire’s eyes in the blink of an eye, even faster than the Spear she had thrown earlier.
With the kinetic energy the Shield currently possessed, a single touch would likely knock Sapphire unconscious against the wall immediately, leaving her to spend the rest of her life in a hospital Bed or simply die on the spot.
Facing this second lethal move threatening her life, Sapphire roared and applied her deceleration Ability to the Shield as well.
Visibly, the Shield’s flight speed became even slower than the Spear’s earlier; it would probably take a full thirty minutes to reach Sapphire’s position.
But this played right into Blazing Flame’s hands.
After using two feints to attract Sapphire’s attention, Blazing Flame had already arrived behind Sapphire.
She gritted her teeth tightly, raised her fist high, and swung a heavy punch toward Sapphire, smashing it down onto that beautiful little face without any pity!
“Since you refuse to listen, I’ll use my fists to wake you up!”
With one punch, Sapphire’s body was instantly sent flying into the distance by the massive Power, and most of the blue-black mist contained in the Great Hall dissipated instantly.
With the expected attack landing, Blazing Flame no longer hesitated and immediately accelerated to follow Sapphire as she was blown away.
Sapphire roared, everything before her eyes having become blurred after taking the previous blow.
But Sapphire still hadn’t snapped out of it, roaring as she tried to apply the deceleration Ability to Blazing Flame again.
But no matter how she looked, she could no longer capture Blazing Flame’s figure in her vision.
Because before she could react, Blazing Flame was already by her side.
With an upward left hook, Sapphire’s body was instantly blasted into mid-air by the massive Power, black blood dripping continuously from her cheek.
“Heh… heh…”
The Sapphire in her Emotion Outburst roared unwillingly, trying to see Blazing Flame’s figure for one last struggle.
But Blazing Flame, who had arrived behind Sapphire, didn’t even look back.
She raised her hand and struck Sapphire’s back with a sudden blow, knocking her to the ground.
“Boom!” With a loud sound, Sapphire was slammed into the ground, completely losing consciousness.
The blue-black mist in the Great Hall scattered, and the entire hall instantly returned to its former tranquility.
In the pitch-black Great Hall, Blazing Flame let out a breath, raised her hand, and glanced at her Bracelet.
It was clearly visible that the battery on the Bracelet was down to five percent.
One more super acceleration would automatically cancel her Transformation State.
It seemed like a dangerous victory.
