The so-called sanctuary-exclusive communication magic is a type that only members of the sanctuary can use and receive. Usually, this type of communication magic isn’t used casually; it’s only activated when a sanctuary member is in serious danger, seeking help from others.
What Colin was looking at now was exactly such a sanctuary-exclusive communication magic. Yet, for some unknown reason, the image on the screen was extremely blurry. It was impossible to make out the communicator’s appearance—he could barely even distinguish their figure.
Still, Colin managed to recognize who was on the other end by a faint sense of familiarity. It was the Sanctuary Knight Order that had gone to “Yiqiu” on their behalf earlier!
Colin anxiously stared at the screen, preparing to hear what trouble they had encountered. But even after more than a minute, no words came from the other side.
Confused about what was going on, Colin was about to ask again when the communication magic suddenly shut off.
Seeing this, Colin immediately grew anxious. He feared the Sanctuary Knight Order had run into some misfortune and hurriedly closed the communication magic because of it. Just as he was about to reactivate it, the manor’s front door was forcefully pushed open.
“Sifni! Prepare the teleportation magic circle!”
The one who pushed open the door was Eirene, who had been late earlier. The moment she entered, she urgently told Sifni to prepare the teleportation magic circle.
“Huh? Where to?” Although Sifni was a bit stunned by the sudden situation, she instinctively trusted her companion’s plan.
“To a labyrinth called ‘Yiqiu.’ Do you know where that is?”
!!!
At Eirene’s words, Colin immediately stepped forward and asked what trouble the Sanctuary Knight Order was in.
Meanwhile, Sifni began preparing the teleportation magic circle upon hearing the location, with Liami assisting her to speed up the process.
“I don’t really know what happened to them,” Eirene said when Colin approached. She then explained what had just happened.
“I had just arrived at the manor’s gate when the Sanctuary Knight Order’s communication magic suddenly appeared before me. Their message was brief—they only told Colin and me to go to a labyrinth called ‘Yiqiu.’ That was all; there was no other information. Do you know what kind of labyrinth they meant?”
Hearing this, Colin frowned deeply and silently prayed to the “Holy Light,” hoping the Sanctuary Knight Order wasn’t in danger. Then he told Eirene everything that had happened earlier.
After hearing Colin’s explanation, Eirene’s worried expression deepened even more. Seeing this, Colin gently comforted her.
“Don’t worry. They’ll be fine. Our master is very strong—even if he’s a bit old, his experience is rich. This incident might cause injuries among the knights, but no one will die. I believe in them!”
At his words, Eirene’s expression eased somewhat. Then, as if recalling something, she asked Colin with a strange look on her face, “By the way, Colin. Are there any female members in the Sanctuary Knight Order?”
“? Of course there are. Why do you ask?”
Colin didn’t understand what Eirene was thinking but answered her question nonetheless.
However, the question didn’t ease the odd look on Eirene’s face. Instead, it grew even deeper.
“Are there… many women in the Knight Order?”
Upon hearing this, Colin furrowed his brow. He really didn’t understand why she was asking such questions in this tense situation, but he patiently answered anyway.
“Though this might sound rude, it’s not easy for women to join the Sanctuary Knight Order. So there are only a handful of female members. Is there a problem with that?”
“I see…”
After saying that, Eirene fell silent. Colin, on the other hand, felt uneasy.
Why did she ask such questions? And why did she go silent after hearing the answer? Could this have something to do with the Sanctuary Knight Order? But what could it possibly be?
Unable to figure it out, Colin was relieved not to have to think more about it. Sifni and Liami had already finished setting up the teleportation magic circle. Now all he needed to do was see the situation of the Sanctuary Knight Order in person.
He immediately gathered the others. Once everyone was ready, Sifni activated the teleportation magic circle. In an instant, they left their location and arrived deep in a forest.
Upon arriving, Colin immediately raised his guard and surveyed the surroundings but found no sign of danger.
“This isn’t the ‘Yiqiu’ labyrinth yet. We must be nearby, though. Since I’ve never been here before, the teleportation coordinates weren’t exact. We might still need to walk a bit further.”
Sifni explained, and Colin and the others nodded in understanding. After all, teleportation magic isn’t perfect—especially when the location is unfamiliar and only approximate coordinates are known.
Colin didn’t dwell on the slight teleportation error. His concern was the state of the knights. He quickly moved ahead, taking the lead.
Sifni used her memory of the coordinates to guide everyone along the correct path.
Fortunately, it wasn’t long before they came across tents set up by the Sanctuary Knight Order.
It seemed they were already quite close to “Yiqiu.”
Colin hurried into the camp, only to be disappointed to find that none of the tents showed any sign of occupants. A bad feeling rose in his chest, and he immediately sped up the search.
The others began helping as well.
In the end, aside from the largest tent in the center of the camp, none of the others held any sign of the knight members. This made Colin feel disheartened.
Now, only the last tent remained.
Colin nervously paced near it, seemingly afraid of what he might find if the tent was empty too.
But Liami came up beside him, gently patting his shoulder and giving him an encouraging look. Eirene, Lavinia, and Sifni also gathered around him, waiting for him to make a choice.
Seeing their support, Colin stopped hesitating and steeled his gaze.
Slowly, he approached the tent’s entrance.
To his surprise, as soon as he reached the opening, he heard voices from inside—more than just two or three; it sounded like a whole dozen or so people!
Colin immediately became excited. So the Sanctuary Knight Order was all here! They hadn’t been in danger; they were gathered together! But why?
Perhaps because of his tension and excitement, Colin subconsciously ignored that the voices inside didn’t match the knights’ voices he remembered at all.
With a mix of excitement and confusion, Colin slowly pulled aside the tent’s entrance curtain, revealing the scene inside.
Inside was a group of beautiful young women wearing armor styled exactly like the Sanctuary Knight Order members Colin remembered?!
