With the commander’s powerful voice echoing, the elves around shot forward like arrows, charging at the trolls.
Although the difference in size and strength between the two sides was vast, it could not shake the elves’ unwavering determination.
The forest elves stood their ground, drawing their bowstrings tight, arrows gleaming coldly.
In an instant, countless arrows rained down like a storm.
The Light Elves radiated dazzling golden light, their attacks filled with the endless power of light, crashing down on the enemy like brilliant meteors.
The Night Elves chanted mysterious incantations in low voices, weaving Dark Magic into a great net in the air.
The Dark Elves led the charge at the forefront…
However, despite the elves’ desperate efforts, their attacks were like scratching an itch through boots to the tough-skinned Dark Trolls.
The trolls swung their massive Weapons effortlessly, unleashing furious dark winds.
This overwhelming force surged like a tsunami, devouring everything before it in an instant.
Giant Weapons tore through layers of dark mist, descending from the sky and smashing into the ground with the force of a mountain, triggering an earth-shattering explosion.
In that moment, the earth cracked, dust billowed, and countless elves were crushed under the terrifying blow.
The Battlefield was thrown into chaos, severed limbs and corpses flying everywhere, blood and flesh splattering in all directions.
The air was thick with a suffocating stench of blood and decay, enough to make one retch.
At that moment, a brilliant beam of golden light pierced the black mist like lightning, tearing through the darkness!
It was the strongest leader of the elven army—the commander herself—stepping into battle!
She radiated the pure power of light, dazzling like a brilliant star.
The Sword in her hand gleamed with sharpness, as if it could cut through anything in existence.
Facing several charging trolls, her eyes remained cold and fearless.
Suddenly, she launched herself skyward like a panther, leaping high into the air.
At the same time, several golden slashes tore through the sky, unstoppable, striking the surrounding trolls with thunderous force.
Golden light burst forth, blood and death followed! The attacked trolls didn’t even have time to scream before being beheaded and slain on the spot.
Seeing the commander’s bravery, the surrounding elves’ morale soared and their confidence multiplied.
Though they knew they were far weaker than the trolls, their numbers were great.
Like countless ants gnawing an elephant, they resolved to fight these loathsome enemies to the end, even if it cost them everything!
Faced with thousands upon thousands of fearless elves charging in a suicidal assault, any other race might have felt terror and thought of retreat.
However, their opponents were trolls—those who had long lived in the borderlands and mutated under the influence of evil forces.
For trolls, the stronger the enemy, the greater their excitement.
As the commander took action, the trolls’ eyes turned fierce and greedy, all surging forward to surround her.
As for the surrounding elven armies, they were too weak to be worth the challenge.
This elven commander was born of the Light Elves, and while the power of light was naturally effective against dark creatures, this was the borderland.
The Pollution here was far stronger than imagined, especially for races of light.
That was one reason why light races were rarely seen within the borderlands.
For ordinary races, Pollution from the border’s Weird Power either weakened them or triggered Mutated Race transformations for greater strength.
But for the light races, their strength was already limited here, and if they were polluted, it was a death sentence—mutation was impossible.
The border’s Weird Power was more than just dark energy.
As one troll after another fell, beheaded and bleeding, the land was dyed red.
The commander’s Sword flashed, continually reaping enemy lives.
Yet after prolonged battle, her stamina waned, and her killing speed slowed.
Even so, she dealt with these inferior creatures with ease, never dragged down by their insignificance.
What truly concerned her was the silent figure of Yuzhu, standing motionless nearby.
At that moment, the silent Yuzhu moved.
She reached out her pale, slender hand and slowly removed the mask from her face.
Then she lowered her head and easily took off the mask.
Beneath the mask was a breathtakingly beautiful face, flawless and no different from an ordinary human woman.
Yet her beauty was so shocking it became the most terrifying thing of all.
In a flash, she leapt like a ghost, swift as lightning.
Weird black mist spread, obscuring her figure mid-air.
Then, under the stunned gazes of all the elves, her graceful form within the black mist suddenly swelled to monstrous size.
With a thunderous boom—
A massive figure crashed down like a meteor, shaking the earth.
The commander’s heart pounded.
She knew exactly what it meant when a Yujang removed her mask.
The opponent was ready for a true fight!
These masks were specially made to suppress the border’s Weird Pollution, and removing them meant the wearer would unleash their Mutated Race power.
In other words, a Yujang with the mask on was no different from their original race, but once removed, their strength was a more powerful version of their own.
From the moment the commander attacked, her enemy had given up any chance for negotiation.
Though she knew she was no match for Yuzhu, in that moment, she used all her reserved strength to attack with everything she had.
Golden light blazed, and a fierce slash pierced the black mist, illuminating the borderland.
But what met her was Yuzhu’s full-powered fist, imbued with chilling Weird frost, threatening to freeze everything.
The commander felt her very blood slow.
Still, she didn’t retreat, clenching her teeth and charging forward.
In that instant, the two titans clashed!
The terrifying shockwave destroyed everything around them.
The elves nearby were sent flying, and even the trolls were forced back several meters.
At that moment, all creatures on the Battlefield froze, gazing in fear at the center of the two leaders’ clash.
