Yiyi was shaken until her head spun, and the tip of her dragon tail twitched uncontrollably.
She bit her lower lip hard, refusing to cry out, but her red eyes were wide, like a cornered little beast with no way to fight back:”Let go of me… I’m going to throw up!”
“Oh, are you still going to curse at me?”
“No… no… put me down.”
Aze’s grip on her tail tip suddenly relaxed, but he didn’t actually let go.
He simply lowered her down a bit so she could barely reach the edge of the lounge chair, giving her suspended body a bit of support.
He lifted his eyelashes slightly, the playful smirk in his red eyes not yet fading, while his fingertips unconsciously brushed against her burning dragon tail scales: “Wouldn’t it have been better if you’d done this sooner? You’re such a stubborn little dragonling.”
Yiyi gripped the armrests of the lounge chair, her cheeks flushing deep red.
Her dizzy head hadn’t recovered yet, but she still stiffened her neck to glare at him: “Who… who’s stubborn… you’re going too far!”
Her voice carried a tremor from just being shaken.
“Alright, alright, stop fighting, you two. Let me give Little Yi a good hug.”
Lilia shook her head helplessly, reaching out to gently pull Aze’s tail away from Yiyi’s and pulling the limp Yiyi into her arms.
Her fingertips carried a gentle warmth as she lightly rubbed Yiyi’s small head.
Then, she slid her hand down along the reddened dragon tail, her fingertips gently pinching the heart-shaped tip.
“The trial is in two days, Little Yi. If you don’t train, how are you going to take first place?”
“I will take first place!”
Yiyi suddenly looked up, a stubborn light flashing in her red eyes, but the sensation of her tail being repeatedly rubbed by those fingertips was too clear.
An itchy, numbing feeling surged up her spine, making her involuntarily shrink her neck, and her voice weakened.
“Can you let go of my tail and stop rubbing it… I won’t have any energy left if you keep messing with it…”
“No.”
Lilia teased her on purpose, her fingertips lightly scratching the heart-shaped tail tip again.
Seeing her body instantly tense up, Lilia’s eyes were full of laughter.
“Is it itchy? Hmm?”
Yiyi was rendered completely weak by this wave of itchy and numbing sensations.
Her small hands, which had intended to struggle, rested feebly on Lilia’s arm, their pressure as light as a feather.
Her body turned into a pile of mush, sinking deeper into Lilia’s embrace.
Her dragon tail also lost its usual stubbornness, resting obediently on Lilia’s lap, the heart-shaped tip still trembling unconsciously with a hint of grievance from being bullied so badly.
“It’s… it’s not itchy…”
She mumbled stubbornly, but her cheeks were so red they looked ready to drip blood.
Her red eyes were misty, unshed tears hanging from her eyelashes, and her voice was as soft as a kitten’s meow.
“I just… I just have no energy… Lilia, stop…”
“Mmm, Big Sister, Sister Lilia, take Yaoyao to play, take Yaoyao to play!”
The little one climbed up from the lounge chair, tugging at Lilia’s sleeve and shaking it, her round eyes full of confusion.
“Why are you guys always hugging every day? Even at night, the clothes are all…”
“Mph…”
Lilia’s face suddenly turned red, and she hurriedly reached out to cover Yaoyao’s mouth, her fingertips feeling a bit hot.
“Yaoyao, you’re not allowed to talk nonsense!”
Yiyi’s already flushed cheeks instantly felt like they were on fire, and her head gave a loud “buzz.”
The strength in her entire body seemed to be drained away as she shrank further into Lilia’s arms, wishing she could hide herself.
Her dragon tail suddenly tensed, and the heart-shaped tip trembled even more violently.
Even the tips of her ears turned red, and her voice was as thin as a mosquito’s buzz:”Yaoyao… don’t… don’t talk nonsense…”
Aze watched from the side, his eyebrows arching up.
The mockery in his red eyes was about to overflow, yet he didn’t speak.
He simply leaned back on the lounge chair with his arms crossed, watching this chaotic and ambiguous scene at his leisure, a playful smile curling at the corner of his mouth.
Lilia cleared her throat and quickly released her hand from Yaoyao’s mouth.
Her cheeks were still burning, but she acted composed as she rubbed Yaoyao’s hair: “Children shouldn’t ask so many questions, understand? Here, this little doll is for you.”
Lilia handed a small doll from the side to Yaoyao, patted her little head, smiled slightly, and said softly: “Yaoyao, do you want Big Sister to play with you? Or do you want my doll? You can only choose one.”
Yaoyao stared at the round eyes of the cloth doll, her small finger pointing at the doll’s strawberry skirt.
She stole another glance at the still-blushing Yiyi, and after hesitating for two seconds, she immediately pulled the cloth doll into her arms and hugged it tightly: “I want… mmm, I want the doll!”
Saying that, Yaoyao slowly climbed down from the soft couch and walked to the nearby grass to play with the doll.
Yiyi watched Yaoyao’s back as she ran toward the grass clutching the strawberry doll, her small face still carrying a lingering flush.
The heart-shaped tail tip that was being repeatedly rubbed by Lilia’s fingertips trembled even harder, and even her voice was tinged with a sob.
“Yaoyao, you little traitor! You actually don’t want your Big Sister anymore!”
As soon as she finished speaking, Lilia’s fingertips lightly scratched the soft fur on her tail tip again, and that itchy, numbing sensation instantly shot through her entire body.
It made her go limp, sinking deeper into Lilia’s embrace as her small hands feebly gripped the other’s sleeve.
Her voice carried a heavy plea: “And Lilia… can you please stop rubbing it… I really can’t take it anymore…”
The laughter in Lilia’s eyes was about to overflow, but her fingertips didn’t stop.
She only made her movements gentler, with a hint of deliberate teasing: “You can’t take it? Who was it just now that stubbornly said it wasn’t itchy?”
Aze was having the time of his life watching from the side.
Leaning against the lounge chair with his arms crossed, his red eyes were full of mockery as he lightly spat out two words: “Spineless.”
“You shut up!”
Yiyi suddenly looked up to glare at him, her red eyes misty and the tears hanging from her eyelashes about to fall, yet she still kept her neck stiff.
As soon as she spoke, Lilia’s fingertips gently pinched her heart-shaped tail tip again.
Yiyi was instantly like a switch had been flipped; her whole body tensed up before going soft once more.
Tears finally couldn’t help but roll down, hitting the back of Lilia’s hand along her cheek.
The cold sensation made Lilia’s movements pause.
“Alright, alright, I’ll stop teasing you.”
Lilia quickly stopped her movements and gently wiped away her tears with her thumb, her tone so tender it could drip water.
“However, tonight, I have a way to make you completely submit to me, Little Yi.”
“Wh-what?”
Yiyi’s entire body stiffened, her red eyes full of wariness.
Her dragon tail even quietly shrank back, and the heart-shaped tip trembled even more violently.
“You want to know that badly? Do you want to try it now?”
Lilia deliberately drew out her words.
Her fingertips lightly brushed over the scales of the dragon tail, carrying a cool sensation, but she didn’t touch that sensitive tip again.
“Tonight…” Yiyi’s voice was as thin as a mosquito’s.
The flush on her cheeks hadn’t faded, and her red eyes were full of bashfulness and wariness.
Her dragon tail quietly shrank behind her, the heart-shaped tip trembling slightly, as if resisting yet also as if anticipating.
Lilia looked at her duplicitous appearance, the laughter in her eyes about to overflow.
She reached out and rubbed Yiyi’s hair: “Okay, we’ll listen to our Little Yi. We’ll wait until tonight.”
