When she woke up again, it was already dusk.
Millie rubbed her eyes and stared blankly at Felusa. Felusa was sitting at the desk, seemingly still reading that philosophy book with the incredibly long title.
“Ugh, how long did I sleep…”
“It seems like it’s been about four hours?” Felusa snapped the book shut with a loud click. “You really can sleep. Is it because you want to keep your big sister company tonight?”
Millie gave Felusa a flat look; she had grown immune to this by now. Regardless, Felusa would tease her at the slightest provocation. If she fought back seriously, it would only make her look like an easy target.
The best thing to do was ignore her and act as if she didn’t exist.
“The witch didn’t attack, did she?”
“If she had, wouldn’t you have woken up a long time ago?”
“I suppose that’s true…”
Millie put on her shoes and went to the bathroom to wash her face.
The invitation had been very clear: it was a Night of Revelry. That “night” meant their debaucherous party would take place after dark.
Someone would probably come to meet them soon, right?
When that time came, she would have to put on those shameful clothes and do unspeakable things. She felt somewhat shy about it, but in order to find that bastard witch, Millie was willing to go all out.
Millie rubbed her face while looking in the mirror.
Water droplets clung to the tips of her hair, making her look exceptionally alluring.
In a party like that, there might even be games involving swapping wives. Since she was so cute and had such a large chest, she would definitely be a hot commodity, wouldn’t she?
As expected, it would be best not to wander too far from Felusa.
Just as she was returning to the room, a surge of magical power swept over her like a mountain collapsing into the sea.
Millie froze in her tracks. She grabbed the doorframe, staring out the window in disbelief.
She could never forget this aura. It was that bastard witch! It was the bastard witch who had locked her in the dungeon and done whatever she pleased with her!
“Finally, I’ve caught you!”
“Millie, did you feel it? It seems there’s a witch nearby?”
“Yeah, it’s that witch who tormented me!” Millie radiated a murderous intent. “Don’t stop me, I’m going to make her pay in blood!—”
Millie didn’t say another word. She jumped out of the window and ran toward the distance.
The wind whistled past her ears, and Millie’s heart beat rapidly. With a wild grin on her face, she raced down the small country road.
Acting on her own might alert the enemy.
However, Millie didn’t care about any of that. Her sole purpose was revenge! If it wasn’t for that bastard witch, she wouldn’t have fallen to this state!
Threatened by Felusa, and pregnant with a child whose father she didn’t even know!
She hated it so much; she was so furious!
Why did it have to be like this? Why did she have to encounter such things!
Millie sprinted all the way to the edge of the woods. The aura of that bastard witch had radiated from this very spot just moments ago.
But there was no one here.
Only the wind blowing through the treetops made a rustling sound.
The air was thick with the scent of earth, and a few small birds played among the branches.
Just now, she had definitely felt it…
It certainly wasn’t an illusion. Millie’s perception was superior to most people, and besides, Felusa had felt it too. How could there be no sign of anyone? Could the other party be hiding?
Suddenly, Millie discovered a letter.
The letter was resting on a tree stump; she hadn’t noticed it just a moment ago.
Millie reached the stump in a few strides. She opened the envelope, and as expected, it was a message left for her by the bastard witch.
“Lady Saintess, I hope you have been well.
Do you ever miss those days in the dungeon?
I miss them quite a bit. Lady Saintess was truly exquisite, and I enjoyed myself immensely.
However, I seem to have noticed another woman by your side?
That won’t do. I cannot allow you to find happiness.
You can only slowly fall into depravity under my affection, becoming a sinner of the Church of the Goddess. As for the big sister by your side, why don’t I get rid of her for you?”
“Felusa is in danger!”
The witch’s target wasn’t Millie.
Perhaps they also knew that they couldn’t beat Millie in a direct head-on confrontation.
So, they had set their sights on Felusa. Felusa was also a Saintess, but she specialized in recovery; her combat abilities were inferior to those of the Sanctuary Team members.
Millie gripped the letter tightly and ran desperately toward the village.
Even if she didn’t want to admit it, Millie had a bit of a favorable impression of her. If the child belonged to Felusa, then perhaps she could still pursue her own happiness in the future.
But that bastard witch!
Tormenting me wasn’t enough, she has to torment Felusa too!
I will never forgive her. I will absolutely make sure she has no place to be buried!
—
Millie sprinted all the way back and finally reached the inn.
She pushed open the door and shouted, “Felusa!…”
However, Felusa was not in the room.
In her place was a woman dressed in a black robe.
She wore a long black cloak that could barely contain her trembling, voluptuous curves. She wore a hood, with strands of purple hair hanging over her chest. She had a graceful figure, but her entire body radiated an evil aura.
Behind her stood another young girl in a black robe.
Millie remembered clearly; when they got off the airship yesterday, this black-robed girl had been secretly following them.
At the time, Felusa had even said she was just a cosplayer?
She shouldn’t have believed her. She should have caught her and interrogated her thoroughly!
“Millie, have you been well?”
The witch sitting on the bed couldn’t help but radiate her mana.
Millie knew this mana wavelength all too well. It was exactly the witch who had tormented her! She hadn’t expected her to actually dare to appear right in front of her!
“You bastard, go to hell!”
Millie waved her hand, and golden mana erupted.
She condensed a golden spear. The spear floated behind her, its tip aimed directly at the witch. The witch used her hood to hide her face, making it impossible to see her expression.
“Lady Elena, be careful!”
The black-robed girl behind her quickly stepped in front of the witch to shield her.
Millie furrowed her brows. Only now did she learn the name of the witch who had tormented her. It turned out her name was Elena—a name that sounded absolutely nauseating!
The girl cast a defensive spell.
However, Millie gave a cold snort of disdain.
A defensive spell of this level couldn’t possibly stop a Spear of Light. Millie was confident she could kill the girl blocking the way and then pierce through Elena behind her!
However, Elena let out a cold laugh.
She casually tossed a white object.
Millie looked and saw that it was Felusa’s robe.
Her murderous intent dissipated, and the light spear crumbled into the air. Millie clenched her fists, suppressing her rage, and demanded loudly, “What have you done to Felusa!”
“You care about her that much? Just what is she to you?”
“She is, she is…” Millie was momentarily at a loss for words, but finally just threw caution to the wind. “She is the big sister I like! So what? Is that a problem?”
“Oh?” Elena sounded intrigued. “You like her very much?”
“Of—Of course I like her,” Millie was fuming, but she quickly calmed herself down. “Tell me quickly, what did you do to her? Don’t tell me you’ve already killed…”
“Don’t worry, I’m not that classless. I’ve merely invited her to be a guest.”
“You!…”
Millie wanted to kill Elena, but her hands were tied. Felusa was still in her hands. No matter how she looked at it, they had “blended” countless times, so there were still some feelings there.
“What exactly do you want…”
“I want you to accompany me to a certain debaucherous party.”
“What…”
Millie ground her teeth, glaring at Elena with resentment.
“You bastard, I will never accompany you to such a shameful party!”
“You wouldn’t want your sister Felusa to suffer any harm, would you?” Elena said with great interest. “If you don’t listen, I wouldn’t mind returning her to you.”
“Ha… returning her to me?”
“A part of her, of course. For example, a hand or something?”
“You!—”
Millie rushed forward, wanting to punch Elena square in the face.
