As the ice-blue arrow shot toward her at lightning speed, Willis simultaneously heard the voice from the system.
[ Beep! Emergency system mission released. Love and hate intertwined—choose the woman, or choose survival?!
Requirement: Annihilate all invading enemies, or retreat with injuries. Reward: Complete annihilation of enemies—Mana Cap +800, Spirit Force +50, and the Inauguration Speech will be considered complete. Or retreat with injuries—Mana Cap +200. Failure: Death.
Note: Drawing your blade with no woman in your heart is divine, but although that elf is your woman, killing her along with the other enemies will grant you excellent rewards! ]
Unable to ignore the system’s voice, at that moment, Real Eye began operating uncontrollably on its own.
In Willis’ vision, everything around her slowed to an almost unbearable crawl, while the entire trajectory of the Mana Arrow became crystal clear through the Real Eye.
Where would it be shot from?
What path would it take?
All perfectly visible at a glance!
Surprised for a moment, the energy blade in her hand surged forward to meet it.
In reality, Winnie Kanasha’s lips curled into a confident smirk.
Though her arrow appeared ordinary, it was infused with her Spirit Force, so this arrow seemed to fly straight at Willis…
But…
Willis’ energy blade caught the Mana Arrow’s trajectory with incredible precision, and she raised her hand to slash down with force.
If this hit, Winnie Kanasha’s strike would be wasted.
“Haha, wishful thinking! Die, Willis!”
Just as the energy blade was about to touch the Mana Arrow, Winnie Kanasha shouted excitedly.
She had been tricked!
That Evil Princess—today, you will die here!
A look of vengeful satisfaction appeared on the elf’s face, but to everyone’s surprise, the Mana Arrow suddenly made a sharp turn, narrowly skimming past Willis’ energy blade.
Its icy blue magic flame tail curved impossibly, dodging Willis’ slash, and it shot once again straight toward her chest!
No sooner said than done, a crisp sound rang out.
Winnie Kanasha’s excitement had barely faded before it twisted into shock.
That strange expression mirrored that of the Black Robed Men nearby.
In front of Willis’ chest, her other hand’s energy blade had, at some unknown moment, intercepted the Mana Arrow.
Though blasted backward repeatedly by the immense impact, Willis’ Flame Armor absorbed most of the force.
“Phew!”
She let out a long breath, tossing the now powerless Mana Arrow to the ground.
Though that strike involved many twists and turns, it had all happened within a second.
The existence of Real Eye slowed her perception of time; she owed her survival to it!
Still, while the Mana Arrow was stopped, its impact remained powerful enough to numb her palm and ache her chest.
Had it struck directly, she would have faced a chilling end; even her Flame Armor couldn’t have withstood it.
“Th-this…”
Winnie Kanasha stared in disbelief at Willis, who was unharmed, her expression twisting.
“How is this possible!? Why aren’t you dead? How could you dodge a Mana Arrow infused with an elf’s Spirit Force!?”
Willis looked at her with calm detachment.
“Nothing is impossible. I’m standing here just fine, aren’t I?”
Tilting her head, she glanced toward the battlefield.
Hill Yu and that Magic Swordsman were still locked in a fierce duel.
Though Hill Yu seemingly held the offensive advantage, the Magic Swordsman defended flawlessly.
Whenever Hill Yu tried to rush over to aid Willis, he would relentlessly attack, forcing her to focus solely on him.
“Who exactly are you!? Elves? Whisperers? Or an assassin organization of the Nonubia Empire!?”
Hill Yu’s sword moves were as cold as ice shards, but the Magic Swordsman unleashed every skill to fend off her attacks.
This man wielded Swordmaster Krenis’ Sword Sea Tidal Wave technique, but since Krenis traveled throughout the Vistoria Continent, he couldn’t be considered truly affiliated with any nation.
Teaching a few disciples the Sword Sea Tidal Wave was normal, and Hill Yu couldn’t determine this man’s nationality.
“I already said, no comment! First Princess, I advise you to mind your own business. Today, our target is that scum. If you continue to interfere, don’t blame us for being ruthless!”
The Black Robed Man’s voice was hoarse and deep; his gender indiscernible, wrapped entirely in black robes that concealed his form.
Hill Yu snorted coldly, “As an Imperial Princess, I will never allow anyone to commit crimes openly in Montsair, especially against my own family!”
In an instant, Hill Yu caressed the sword Ice Orchid with one hand; cold magic instantly attached to it.
Around her, snowflakes began to drift down!
Ice Sword Dancer!
Hill Yu lunged forward, slashing upward with her sword.
The fierce icy sword energy easily tore through the ground, rushing straight toward the Magic Swordsman.
In contrast, the Magic Swordsman imbued his blade with thunder magic.
Their energies collided and shattered, echoing with violent explosions.
The two turned into afterimages, exchanging strikes rapidly, metal clashes and magical detonations ringing without pause.
Meanwhile, Willis had already been surrounded on all sides.
“If one strike won’t do, I’ll send you ten arrows, a hundred! Willis, I don’t believe you can dodge them all!”
Winnie Kanasha roared angrily, standing outside the fray, drawing her bow and nocking arrows.
As her mana flickered, three Mana Arrows flew toward Willis.
At the same time, the other Black Robed Men surged forward, determined to kill Willis on the spot!
“Willis!”
Hill Yu shouted anxiously upon seeing this.
In that chaotic moment, the Magic Swordsman seized an opening to thrust fiercely like a charging tiger, merciless and fierce!
Hill Yu had no choice but to turn and defend, no longer able to watch over Willis.
“Kill her!”
“Cut down that filthy bitch!”
One Black Robed Man roared in fury, leaping forward.
Willis instinctively surged with mana, forming a Fire Whip instantly.
Snap!
A crisp explosion rang out as the leaping Black Robed Man was whipped back violently.
A fierce blast roared at his clothes, flames instantly engulfing him.
Willis didn’t have time to follow up, rolling awkwardly on the ground as a gleaming sword slammed down where she had just been.
“Po Jun!”
Another Black Robed Man shouted.
Willis’ pupils shrank, hastily spreading her legs.
Boom!
Before her, a burly Black Robed Man wielding a massive hammer had tried to crush her legs in one blow, but the attack landed on the ground.
Damn! That was close, and brutal!
Even though Willis wasn’t conceited, no matter how you looked at it, her legs were truly exquisite.
During her slump, Willis had even indulged in some vanity.
But this Black Robed Man showed no mercy.
That strike seemed designed to pulverize such perfect limbs!
Dust and stones flew; the earth shattered.
The impact left a crater where his hammer struck.
Willis felt her heart sink—if that had hit, her legs would have shattered to pieces.
No time to think further, Willis rolled three times to the side and stood up just as a storm of attacks descended.
They wielded the swords hanging outside the Iron Smithy just now.
Stabs, jabs, slashes—an instant flash of steel and a killing aura!
Willis only managed to block seven or eight strikes with her energy blade.
Two swords struck directly against her Flame Armor, battering it hard against her body.
Shh—shh!
Two sword marks appeared on her Flame Armor, her clothes sliced open twice by sharp blades.
Fortunately, her skin remained unharmed.
Before she could even breathe a sigh of relief, a sharp warning suddenly sounded in her mind.
Real Eye activated again on its own.
Willis saw two Black Robed Men suddenly part in front of her, and three Mana Arrows were already screaming toward her at less than a meter away!
