“Wow.”
Lorina exclaimed, “What’s with this incredibly beautiful doll?”
In response to Lorina’s reaction, Finihiya, who was somewhat accustomed to scenes like this, first gave a polite bow.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Miss Lorina.”
“The doll is talking…”
Watching Lorina go blank in surprise at Finihiya’s words, Danila scowled and reminded her in a stern voice.
“Lorina, this is Lady Finihiya, so don’t be rude.”
“Finihiya?” Lorina repeated absentmindedly, “You mean that human Saintess?”
“Lorina, watch your words. This is Lady Finihiya.”
“Oh, Lady Finihiya.”
Seeing this, Finihiya immediately put on a smile and said, “Please don’t mind it, Miss Lorina. I would be even happier if you called me by my name directly.”
Look.
“Haha!” Lorina laughed heartily, “Although it’s tempting, proper etiquette is still necessary.”
“All right, let’s end this idle chat here.” Danila said, “Are you ready with the things we discussed earlier?”
“The Seamstress Uniforms, right? I’ve already instructed someone to prepare them.”
“Is that so.” Hearing this, Danila showed a slight smile, then gestured to the two demi-human maids accompanying them, “You two, go inside and take a look.”
“Yes, Miss Danila.”
After the maids lightly bowed, they stepped towards the back rooms of the shop.
At this moment, Lorina smiled again and said, “Lady Finihiya, please have a seat over there. I have prepared some premium tea from Talang for you.”
“Thank you.”
Thinking Danila and Lorina might want to talk for a while longer, she did not refuse Lorina’s offer.
Sitting at the wooden table and chairs in the corner of the shop, she gazed quietly through the display window at the passing Demon citizens on the street.
Danila and Lorina exchanged a few words, then Danila paced along the racks of clothes, seemingly picking out items while occasionally speaking with Lorina.
Taking a small sip of the dark tea Lorina brought over.
When Danila came to her side, she caught the low conversation between Danila and Lorina.
“I want to prepare a few new summer outfits for Lady Finihiya.”
“Leave it to me,” Lorina happily assured, “It’s an honor for Fannis Boutique to prepare clothes for such a beautiful woman like Lady Finihiya.”
Thinking of the countless clothes stored separately in a room in the Western-style Mansion, Finihiya frowned slightly, then softly interrupted their conversation with parted cherry lips.
“Miss Danila, I appreciate your thoughtfulness, but there are already far too many clothes belonging to me in the mansion.”
Danila, unfazed by the reminder, showed a dismissive expression.
“Those are all outdated old clothes.”
“But…”
Danila ignored Finihiya’s words and continued discussing new clothes with Lorina.
So it wasn’t long before Lorina pulled her over to the fitting room in the corner of the shop.
Lorina took out a measuring tape, measuring her height, then her shoulder width… After fiddling for a while, Lorina finally retracted the tape.
“13.1 cm.” Lorina looked at the tape, “Such a particularly cute size.”
Hearing Lorina’s words, usually shy Finihiya blushed slightly and looked away.
Even though the clothes covering her hadn’t been removed, she still raised her right hand to her slightly rising chest.

Stepping out of Lorina’s tailor shop, it was already three in the afternoon.
The blazing sun still scorched the earth, and the heat radiating from the ground distorted the distant view.
Sitting in the carriage returning to the Yabadawi Suburbs’ Western-style Mansion, Finihiya lazily rested her head against the carriage wall, her eyes quietly watching outside.
On the wide main road, several lanes for carriages were painted, with wagons carrying various goods flowing endlessly.
Perhaps due to the day off, the sidewalks were crowded with Demon citizens.
Along the sidewalks were all sorts of shops, and through the windows, one could see strange items inside. Occasionally, there were elegant Western-style dressmakers.
Quietly observing for a while, a small curiosity stirred within her heart.
After hesitating and pondering for a moment, she tilted her head to look at Danila sitting opposite her.
“Hm?”
Danila gave a gentle smile and gestured for her to continue.
“Miss Danila, may I go for a walk outside alone…”
Her voice dropped so low that even she barely heard it herself.
However…
She expected Danila to outright refuse, but the words that came from Danila’s mouth left her slightly stunned.
“If Lady Finihiya wishes so, it’s possible, but please be very careful.”
The simple agreement was unbelievable to her, and the small worry of Danila refusing immediately faded.
“The security in Yabadawi isn’t very good. The bustling districts like this one are relatively safe, but the sparsely populated, remote places often have various dangers.”
“Mm hm!”
The carriage came to a stop beside the stone-paved road.
Just as she was about to open the door and get off, Danila’s voice called out calmly, stopping her.
“Wait a moment, Lady Finihiya.”
Hearing this, she responded with a confused, “Hm?”
“Are you really planning to walk outside just like this?”
Like this?
Danila’s words only added more confusion to her face. Lowering her head to examine her clothes to confirm there was nothing inappropriate, she then raised her eyes to look at Danila.
“Wh-what is it?”
“You’ll be especially vulnerable walking out like this. There are all kinds of malicious people watching here.”
“I suggest Lady Finihiya wear this cloak when going out.”
***
She didn’t know where Danila had pulled it from, but a large coarse linen cloak was placed in her hands.
Her fingertips brushed the roughly made fabric.
From Danila’s words, she immediately understood.
Probably afraid that walking outside like this would attract bad people with evil intentions.
Wrapping the gray coarse linen cloak around her, Finihiya lifted her small hand and pulled down the hood, deepening the shadow cast by the cloak to better hide her face.
“Is this okay?”
“…It’s fine.” Danila carefully inspected her for a moment, then nodded lightly, “Although for better safety, I hoped Lady Finihiya could wear a face mask as well, but considering the hot weather, that idea is dropped.”
“…Well, I’m off then.”
“Please wait, I haven’t finished speaking yet.”
