The morning birdsong drifted in, and Millie slowly woke up.
Millie opened her eyes, gazing at the ceiling that was both familiar and strange.
A soft sensation came from beside her, and Millie felt a little flustered and enchanted.
Last night, she had taken the initiative to snuggle up with Filusa.
It wasn’t that she had fallen, she just wanted to show her gratitude. After all, who told Filusa to be so protective of her? If she didn’t offer a little sweetness, how would she get Filusa to keep working so hard for her in the future?
Speaking of which, isn’t Filusa awake yet?
Millie looked over. Filusa was still lost in dreamland.
Looks like last night took quite a toll, huh?
“Hmph, serves you right for being naughty. All tired out now, aren’t you?”
Millie poked Filusa’s nose. Filusa made a muffled “mm mm” sound and instinctively pushed Millie away. Millie covered her mouth, stifling a laugh.
So, Filusa has a cute side too?
At a moment like this, she had to capture it with the Image Stone!
Back then, Filusa had taken advantage when she was helpless and snapped tons of sexy little kitten photos, but no matter how much Millie pressed her, she wouldn’t reveal where she’d hidden the negatives.
Millie thought she should have some leverage, too.
Even if she didn’t have any embarrassing photos, Filusa’s muddled, drooling sleeping face was still pretty damaging—enough to guarantee Filusa would be hopping mad.
Trying not to make a sound, Millie slowly took out the Image Stone.
Just as she was about to aim it at Filusa’s face, Filusa seemed to sense something and subconsciously wiped at her mouth. Millie frowned and hurriedly stashed the Image Stone away.
“Mm… Millie?…”
Filusa opened her eyes, still looking groggy.
Millie felt guilty and quickly shut her eyes, pretending to be asleep.
Filusa stopped speaking in a hurry, afraid of waking Millie. But the sound of Millie’s breathing seemed a bit off. Could it be she was just pretending?
“Millie, are you awake?”
“Mm… huff~~”
Millie kept up the act, feeling secretly pleased with herself.
Out of sight, out of mind—this way Filusa wouldn’t start spouting sweet nothings.
Filusa frowned, quietly lifted Millie’s blanket. Millie’s shoulders tensed, but she was in too deep to stop, so she gritted her teeth and continued playing possum.
Filusa wouldn’t ambush her, right?
Last night had been so intimate, both of them satisfied. Would she really go for a second round?
Just as the thought crossed her mind, Millie felt a sudden jolt. She almost let out a sound but managed to cover her mouth in time.
She looked down to see Filusa burrowing under the blanket.
“Filusa, what are you doing?!”
Millie’s face turned bright red as she threw off the blanket, only to see Filusa lying atop her, her cheek pressed against a very odd spot, doing unspeakable things.
“Stop bullying me, let me go now!”
Filusa didn’t answer; instead, she continued teasing Millie.
Millie’s eyes filled with tears as she desperately tried to push Filusa’s head away, but her weakness was being exploited, leaving her with no strength at all.
All she could do was collapse on the bed and let Filusa have her way.
After a while, Filusa finally looked up, satisfied.
“Still pretending to be asleep?”
Millie’s cheeks were crimson as she clenched her fists in embarrassment and anger.
“Even if I’m pretending, you can’t just ambush me!”
“It was just a good morning kiss,” Filusa replied cheerfully. “Don’t you know how sweet and delicious Millie is in the morning?”
“You pervert!—”
Millie lifted her leg and kicked Filusa.
But Filusa wasn’t mad at all—she grabbed Millie’s ankle instead. Millie shrieked, hurriedly covering her most vulnerable spot.
“Let go of me!”
“You can kick me, but I can’t fight back?” Filusa grinned mischievously. “Or maybe, I haven’t teased you enough?”
“No, you’re not allowed to tease me!”
Millie tried to kick with her other foot, but Filusa grabbed that one too. Now both her feet were caught—this position was way too shameful.
“Millie, my little sister,” Filusa slowly closed in, “You’re my partner. I can ambush you however I like. I don’t even need a reason.”
“Didn’t I keep you company all night already?!”
Millie grabbed a pillow and swung it with all her might. Filusa, hands full with Millie’s ankles, couldn’t block in time.
The swing was so strong the pillow burst apart.
Feathers flew everywhere, a few landing right on Filusa’s head.
“Pfft, hahahaha! You look like a fluffed-up duck!”
“You!—”
Filusa’s veins bulged in anger as she pinned Millie to the bed.
Millie struggled desperately but couldn’t break free. Filusa’s kiss came down, and Millie’s shoulders trembled as their lips met.
A faint citrus scent filled her mouth.
The taste felt oddly familiar, yet hard to place. Suddenly, she realized—it wasn’t Filusa’s scent. It was her own.
Just now, Filusa had sampled her thoroughly.
And now, it was Millie’s turn to taste herself.
“Mm, mm mm!—”
So hateful, she wanted to resist, but Filusa was so domineering. Or perhaps, Millie had already surrendered long ago—her body simply didn’t want to resist anymore.
After who knows how long, Filusa finally let go.
Millie lay limp, her expression dazed.
Her body had already awakened. Even if Filusa took things further, Millie wouldn’t resist—in fact, part of her was looking forward to being entangled with Filusa again.
“Not being tsundere anymore?” Filusa nudged Millie’s cheek. “Wait, looks like there’s no more tsun, only dere now?”
“Ugh, it’s all your fault!—”
Millie snapped back to herself and pushed Filusa away hard.
She clutched her chest and stumbled off the bed. No time to find her slippers—her bare feet hit the cold floor, making her shiver.
“All right, I’m going to take a shower.”
She was covered in Filusa’s scent. If this kept up, she’d never be able to break away from Filusa. She really needed to calm down.
“I’ll just rinse off—don’t you dare ambush me!”
“No way, I have to ambush you.”
“Waaah, you’re so shameless!” Millie pointed at Filusa’s nose. “Don’t forget, we have a mission this morning. You don’t want to be worn out and listless, do you?”
“You!……”
There were better ways to say it, but Millie deliberately picked the most infuriating words. It sounded like Filusa was all used up, out of energy for such things.
“Fine, on the way to the mission, there’ll be plenty of chances to tease you.”
“Hooligan!—”
Millie, thoroughly spooked, dashed off to the bathroom.
She locked the door tight and pressed her hand to her chest, letting out a deep breath.
Suddenly, a wave of discomfort hit her.
One hand clutching her stomach, the other covering her mouth.
“I feel terrible…”
Did she eat something that didn’t agree with her?
She hadn’t really eaten much yesterday. After all, she was planning to go serve in bed, and if she moved around too much, her stomach would act up, so she’d just nibbled a little.
Could it be—she was hungry?
Millie cupped her cheeks, thinking hard, and soon realized something was terribly wrong.
Could this reaction be… pregnancy?
After all, time spent together doesn’t always lead to feelings, but it can definitely lead to children!
“What should I do… No, calm down, maybe it’s just a false alarm…”
She didn’t have a pregnancy stick on hand—the last one had been used up when escaping the dungeon. Come to think of it, she’d overlooked a serious problem.
You can’t detect pregnancy the same day!
There’s always a three-day delay or so. Which means, if she really was pregnant, the child in her belly could very well be that bastard witch’s!
