After all, they were in the Swordbearers Division building, under the watchful eyes of many, and Chu You didn’t want to draw too much attention.
She bit back the shame and anger swelling inside her, letting Lin Mo hold her hand as she stayed close to his side, head lowered, quickening her pace through the lobby straight toward the director’s office.
The moment the heavy solid wood door clicked shut behind them, cutting off any view from outside, a sharp glint flashed in Chu You’s eyes.
Before Lin Mo could say a word, he suddenly felt his wrist—grasping Chu You’s hand—being twisted with a deft move.
Then an irresistible force surged through him, and the world spun rapidly.
“Bang!”
With a muffled thud, Lin Mo didn’t even react before Chu You had already locked his arm behind his back using a joint lock, pressing his face firmly against the cold floor.
“Uh…” Lin Mo let out a short grunt but didn’t struggle.
Instead, a low, mocking chuckle slipped from his throat.
“Senior… are you really this impatient? I wasn’t mentally prepared yet~”.
Chu You pressed one knee against the small of his back, applying gentle but firm pressure.
The friction between her black stockings and the composite Swordbearers uniform hissed softly.
“If you want to die, keep talking,” she said, pulling a dagger from somewhere with her free hand, pressing the blade against the inside of Lin Mo’s thigh, her tone chilling.
“Ever seen a video of a piglet being castrated? One swift cut—that’s all it takes. Very quick.”
Instead of backing down, Lin Mo strained to turn his head and glanced up at Chu You from beneath, smiling slyly.
“Senior, would you really be willing to castrate me?”
At those words, Chu You’s expression shifted again, her grip tightening on the dagger, the blade dangerously scraping against the fabric of his pants.
“You’re useless anyway. I’ll help you escape your misery right now!”
She raised the knife in a threatening motion.
But just as the dagger lifted, Lin Mo suddenly drove upward with his abdomen, catching Chu You off guard.
Like a venomous snake, he bent his leg and struck sharply at her waist.
“Ugh!”
Chu You was caught off balance; her strength in the joint lock waned immediately.
Lin Mo took the chance to free his arm, clamped down on her wrist holding the dagger, and with his other hand gripping her shoulder, twisted his waist.
In a dizzying blur, their positions instantly reversed.
When Chu You came to her senses, Lin Mo was securely pinned atop her, holding her hands tightly above her head.
The dagger clattered to the floor a short distance away.
Their eyes locked, breaths mingling.
Lin Mo lowered his gaze to her flushed cheeks, a dangerous smile flickering in his eyes.
“Senior, since you want to free me from my misery, why not use a more direct method?”
He spoke while freeing one hand to stroke her waist, emphasizing the words “more direct” slowly and deliberately.
Hearing that, Chu You’s embarrassment mixed with anger.
Feeling the warm touch on her waist and the deliberately loaded words whispered in her ear, an indescribable restlessness surged up to her head.
She couldn’t help but regret—back at Beifu University, when she was teaching him martial arts, why had she been so thorough and devoted?
Every move, every joint lock technique, the secret to applying force properly—she had been afraid he wouldn’t learn or master them.
And now look at this bastard, teaching a disciple who starves the master.
He was using everything she’d taught him against her, especially with that infuriating smirk—it was enough to make one furious!
“Heh heh…” Chu You struggled in vain for a few moments, then gave up, slumping on the floor with a look of disdain and contempt as she stared at Lin Mo.
“You’re just all talk, little enoki mushroom.”
At those words, Lin Mo’s pupils contracted, the smile on his lips growing even more dangerous.
He slowly leaned in, neither rushed nor hesitant, but full of intent, his warmth passing through the thin fabric.
Chu You’s body stiffened, instinctively resisting this boundary-crossing contact.
Lin Mo tilted his head, feeling the slight movements and struggles beneath him.
His lips barely brushed her earlobe, breath hot and husky, voice low and seductive: “Don’t provoke me, Senior…”
Each word felt like a tiny electric shock, crawling into Chu You’s eardrum.
“Otherwise… you’ll regret begging for mercy too late.”
Chu You shrank her neck, desperately trying to avoid Lin Mo’s intrusion, her cheeks growing even redder and hotter.
Noticing her mounting embarrassment and frustration, a low chuckle escaped Lin Mo’s throat.
The hand that had been stroking her waist suddenly slid downward, pressing against her leg encased in black stockings.
His palm, warm and burning, gently traced along the fabric.
Chu You shuddered violently, as if struck by an electric current.
The shame and anger she had suppressed burst forth, breaking the dam of reason.
A fierce glint flashed in her eyes.
Seizing the moment Lin Mo relaxed slightly, she exploded with surprising strength, twisted her head sharply, and bit down hard on his neck just inches away.
“Ugh!”
Lin Mo’s movements froze instantly, a muffled groan escaping him.
The sharp pain at his Adam’s apple snapped him awake immediately.
He released his grip, quickly stood, and stepped back.
Chu You took the opportunity to get up, chest heaving violently, eyes blazing with humiliation and anger.
Lin Mo instinctively reached up to touch his neck, fingers clearly feeling two rows of deep bite marks.
A faint sting lingered, accompanied by moist warmth that wasn’t his own.
He stared at the furious Chu You across from him, then suddenly pointed behind her, toward the office door.
“Someone’s coming, Senior.”
“That aura… must be Security Director Zhao Dongyuan.”
No sooner had he spoken than steady, rhythmic footsteps echoed down the corridor outside.
A man in a crisp Swordbearers uniform, his silver eagle badge glinting coldly on his chest, was striding toward the director’s office.
His hair was slicked back meticulously, not a strand out of place.
His face was stern and rigid, the left eye clouded with a strange iridescence—the head of the division’s Security Department: Zhao Dongyuan.
As Security Director, it was part of his duty to identify and verify all outsiders entering the division’s core areas.
Even if this visitor was personally brought in by Director Lin Mo and displayed close behavior, he still had to see them with his own eyes to ensure no potential threat.
Zhao Dongyuan stopped outside the door and tapped it with curled fingers.
Inside, silence.
No response.
He frowned, thought for a moment, then decisively pushed open the heavy wood door.
The instant the door swung open, Zhao Dongyuan’s expression changed sharply.
He lowered his head abruptly.
Behind the desk, Chu You was straddling Lin Mo’s lap, her back facing the doorway.
Her slender silhouette conveniently blocked much of Lin Mo’s figure.
Lin Mo poked his head out from beside her, wearing a clear look of displeasure as he regarded the intruding Zhao Dongyuan, voice casual and indifferent: “Director Zhao, is there something you need from me?”
Zhao Dongyuan slowly raised his head, his eyes quickly scanning the intimate pose of the two before him.
Hesitating, he still said, “Director, I heard there is an external visitor with you. According to regulations, registration is required—”
Lin Mo cut him off.
“What is it?”
His tone was laced with impatience.
His fingers absentmindedly brushed Chu You’s waist, making her body stiffen almost imperceptibly as she glared fiercely at Lin Mo with eyes full of warning and repressed killing intent, still turned away from Zhao Dongyuan.
Lin Mo seemed oblivious, tightening his arm and pulling her closer.
He raised an eyebrow at Zhao Dongyuan.
“Do you really need a full report on my personal relationships, Director Zhao?”
Zhao Dongyuan immediately bowed slightly. “Of course not.”
Lin Mo chuckled softly, eyes flicking to the silent, angry Chu You in his arms.
A teasing glint passed through his gaze.
Then he looked back at Zhao Dongyuan and said, “If there’s nothing else, you may leave.
I can assure you the identity of the person I brought is clean.”
He paused, deliberately drawing out his tone so it echoed clearly through the office.
“Besides, she’s not only my personal assistant of many years, but also my…”
“Girlfriend.”
