This Dress Shop, situated at the heart of the Empire Capital, occupied an impressively vast space.
Rows upon rows of luxurious, exquisitely crafted dresses in a variety of styles and extravagant prices hung neatly on display racks.
Even more, an array of dazzling accessories adorned the showcases, their sparkling gems proclaiming the noble prestige of this establishment.
The owner of this shop was none other than Princess Kresia of the Kalishi Empire—here, authority had a name.
The shop’s decor exuded opulence, the attendants were dressed with elegance and courtesy, and each time the Emperor’s Banquet drew near, countless Nobles flocked here to choose their gowns.
The Servant Girl noticed that Charlotte had returned, yet the blue-haired youth was nowhere in sight.
She understood instantly what must have happened, though she had nothing to say about it.
After all, affairs between Nobles were none of a mere Servant Girl’s business.
The Servant Girl led Charlotte to the fitting room Bella had just entered.
She also knew her place. “Marquis Charlotte, I’ll wait a little ways off. If you need anything, just call for me.”
“Alright,” Charlotte replied softly.
With that, the Servant Girl walked away on light footsteps.
Inside the fitting room, Bella caught Charlotte’s voice. “Charlotte, could you do me a favor?”
“What is it?”
Charlotte had barely approached the changing room when Bella suddenly flung open the door and dragged him inside.
With a “click,” before Charlotte could react, the fitting room door was locked.
Bathed in the glow of the Magic Stone, the changing room was rather bright.
It covered nearly ten square meters, and even featured a dressing table, a full-length mirror, and a rack for hanging clothes.
On the rack hung two particularly revealing dresses—one black, one white—as well as a few undergarments.
There was also a long bench.
“Master~”
Bella purred in a seductive tone, pushing Charlotte down onto the bench.
She kicked off her shoes and stood on the plush rug, beginning to remove her armor.
All her close-fitting garments were already damp from earlier, so Bella had spent the whole day with nothing on underneath.
Now Charlotte finally understood what Bella had meant when she said she’d drink water herself if she was thirsty.
Looking at her now, she did seem truly parched.
Bella caught a glimpse of her own reflection in the mirror—her sycophantic expression was one even she had never seen before.
Had Charlotte really managed to “teach” her so thoroughly?
But she couldn’t be bothered with that now—right now, she needed to prove her loyalty to Charlotte!
Charlotte’s gaze lingered on Bella.
Before, it had always been in dimly lit rooms, but now, under the clear lights, Bella’s skin seemed to glow.
Her abdomen was smooth, her waist slender, and even her navel was adorable.
If only her curves were a little more pronounced… Yet her legs were exceptionally long for her height.
After undoing the last of her restraints, Bella deliberately leaned closer, pressing her knee to Charlotte and reaching behind him for the black dress.
It took all her effort, and as she finally straightened up—slowly and teasingly—she rubbed her “bunnies” against Charlotte, clearly on purpose.
As Bella changed, Charlotte teased, “I’ve noticed you seem to lack a sense of security. Is it something from your childhood?”
Bella was surprised. Could Charlotte really think so calmly about such things in a moment like this?
“Master, I’m not sure, but I do know that choosing you is never a mistake.”
Charlotte nodded. “You’ve made a very wise choice.” A mischievous grin spread across his face.
Bella was startled. Another test of obedience? This man really was so petty—even at a time like this, he still had to test her.
“How about this one, do you like it?”
Bella didn’t look in the full-length mirror, instead locking eyes with Charlotte—she wanted to see where he was looking.
“Turn around.”
Charlotte stood, took Bella’s hand, and with the ease of a seasoned ballroom dancer, Bella spun around in a graceful twirl.
It was a backless gown.
Bella’s fair and beautiful back suited black perfectly—a color both mysterious and dangerous, set off by her pure white skin.
Because Bella wore nothing underneath, the sides were daringly revealing.
As she spun, the skirt’s hem fluttered, and Charlotte caught a glimpse of a breathtaking scene.
“How is it?”
Blushing, Bella clutched the skirt and looked at Charlotte, seeking his approval.
After all, it was her first time showing herself like this to anyone.
“It looks wonderful.”
Charlotte pulled Bella by the wrist, bringing her down to her knees before him.
Bella knew exactly what Charlotte wanted.
She smoothed her violet hair, but Charlotte gave her no time—within moments, her eyes widened, and the light in her soft purple gaze began to fade.
……
“Hmm? Did I just hear Teacher Charlotte’s voice?”
Elsewhere in the Dress Shop, Lilia was puzzled.
She too had come tonight to pick out a dress for the Emperor’s Banquet.
But every dress in this area was a bit too revealing—she didn’t dare try them on.
As she hesitated, she thought she’d caught the sound of Charlotte’s voice.
The Servant beside her replied, “Miss Lilia, perhaps you misheard?”
Lilia’s moist eyes sparkled, her long elven ears twitched, and hearing no further sound, she said, “Maybe I really did mishear… Could it be that I miss him too much?”
Thinking this, Lilia blushed. How could she be so improper?
He was someone else’s fiancé… She shook her head, tossing her silver hair, telling herself to forget about it.
But another voice in her mind whispered to her: A Noble as gentle and self-restrained as Charlotte would never do anything improper before marriage.
All the rumors outside were just that—rumors.
Unmarried, unmarried—that means there’s still a chance!
Two conflicting thoughts tangled inside Lilia’s head.
She remembered the night Charlotte proposed to her, and felt like smoke was rising from her ears.
“Miss?!”
The Servant Girl at her side was startled.
……
As the saying goes, a fine drum doesn’t need to be struck too hard.
Miss Bella was awkward at first, but after a while, she began to find Charlotte’s weaknesses.
Charlotte, in turn, was amazed by Bella’s capacity to learn—perhaps their compatibility was better than he thought.
Once her thirst was quenched, Bella obediently opened her mouth wide for Charlotte to check—her teeth were excellent.
Charlotte didn’t make things hard for Bella.
For the next ten minutes or so, he simply watched her try on various outfits, admiring her in several cute and seductive lingerie sets.
Everything fit well, so Bella planned to buy them all—especially since a few pieces had been dirtied, leaving her no choice but to purchase them.
Bella, rare for her, made a request to Charlotte.
“Master, could you help me get another dress from outside—one not quite so revealing? I don’t want anyone else to see me like this. Some sights should be for your eyes only.”
Charlotte, of course, had no reason to refuse.
He straightened his own attire, opened the changing room door, and stepped out.
But after only a few steps, he ran into an unexpected person.
“Teacher Charlotte! I knew I didn’t mishear you.”
