For the rest of the morning, Su Ran felt like she had been electrocuted.
During break, when Lin Mo tried to go find her, she shot up like a spring and ran away at lightning speed.
Whenever their eyes met, she would instantly turn her head to avoid him. Once she turned too hard—crack—pain shot through her neck and her eyes instantly went blank.
This state lasted until noon. The moment the lunch bell rang, Su Ran flew out of the classroom.
She didn’t go to the cafeteria. She headed straight for the piano room.
But just as she turned to close the door, she saw Lin Mo chasing after her like a ghost.
“Eek!?”
Su Ran’s pupils contracted. On reflex she tried to slam the door shut.
Seeing this, Lin Mo also launched forward. At the very last second before the door closed, he jammed the bento box into the gap, then tilted his head and peered through the crack at the frightened Su Ran.
“You gonna keep running?”
“You—you…”
“Me me me—what did I do to you? Why are you avoiding me?”
Half-annoyed, half-amused, Lin Mo pushed the door open, closed it behind him, and locked it.
The piano room had only one door. Once locked, the only escape was through the window.
Su Ran looked like a startled little white rabbit, wide-eyed like a cartoon character, retreating timidly.
“I didn’t… I… Why aren’t you eating?”
“If you don’t want me anymore, how am I supposed to eat…”
Before Lin Mo could finish, Su Ran exploded like a炸毛 cat and cut him off: “I didn’t!!”
After shouting, she realized she had overreacted. She immediately lowered her voice and repeated softly, “I-I didn’t not want you, it’s just… just…”
While she lowered her head to avoid his gaze, the corner of Lin Mo’s mouth lifted in a mischievous smirk. Then he put on a stern face, walked over to the piano bench, and said unusually forcefully: “Fine. I’ll give you a chance to explain. Come here!”
Su Ran glanced at the door, the urge to flee surging again.
But after hesitating, she still lowered her eyes, clutched the hem of her skirt, and obediently walked toward Lin Mo.
The moment she got close, a large hand grabbed her.
Su Ran let out a startled yelp. Her whole body was yanked forward and the next second she was sitting in Lin Mo’s lap.
The instant she looked up, their breaths mingled.
There was something strangely magical about school uniforms.
Through the thin shirt, Lin Mo could feel even more clearly how soft and delicate Su Ran’s body was.
Her slightly feverish temperature transferred to him instantly, along with delightfully elastic softness.
Then came her warm breath—like a swan feather brushing lightly against his chest through his clothes.
That itchy-yet-comfortable sensation shot straight from his heart to the top of his head and down to his heels, making every pore on his body open up in bliss.
Holding Su Ran, Lin Mo couldn’t help but lean closer, gazing at her adorable, charming face.
At almost zero distance, under the pure white light, the girl’s delicate beauty was displayed in full.
Strangely enough, after being anxious all morning, the moment Lin Mo hugged her, Su Ran’s heart suddenly calmed.
Instead, her breathing became involuntarily rapid, and her small face grew even rosier.
Her eyes were like autumn water, veiled in a mist of longing. Her soft pink lips parted slightly. “I know I was wrong… Don’t be mad.”
Lin Mo didn’t speak. He simply looked at that innocent-yet-tempting little mouth and slowly leaned in.
Su Ran felt her heart tremble nonstop, melting until her soul seemed to float away. When Lin Mo’s lips finally met hers—greedy, forceful—she closed her eyes and obediently tilted her head up.
Chuu—
Rustle rustle—
Su Ran’s lashes trembled. She stayed perfectly still like a doll.
Her school uniform shirt fit her perfectly, outlining her slender yet full figure.
When the buttons came undone, they practically popped open.
“Open your eyes and look at me,” Lin Mo suddenly demanded.
“No…”
Su Ran mumbled muffled refusals, but in reality she turned her face slightly and opened her eyes to look at the handsome, stern face right in front of her.
“Su Ran, you’re really beautiful,” Lin Mo said with unusual seriousness, then smiled.
Su Ran had always been the extremely refined type—peach-blossom cheeks, skin fair and smooth like congealed cream, and a faint fresh fragrance that only young girls have, like spotless gardenias on a treetop, making people want to pick and smell them.
She truly deserved to be called the school flower; it was just that in the past she had been treated like a freak and no one paid attention.
Su Ran also looked at Lin Mo—her gaze sweeping over his brows, his high nose bridge, his thin cool lips, and finally landing on his sexy Adam’s apple. She squirmed restlessly.
Then she took the initiative, raised her arms to wrap around his neck, tilted her head, and gently bit his Adam’s apple, purring softly like a kitten.
Lin Mo wasn’t idle either. He pulled her shirt out from her skirt, hugged her black-stockinged thighs closer, and wrapped her entirely in his arms.
Su Ran returned to full electrocution mode.
This time it was real electricity—endless.
“Still gonna run?”
Lin Mo was wicked to the core, completely messing up her usual elegance.
Su Ran pressed her lips tightly together. Her eyes were misty and seductive, breath like orchids. “Not running. I like it.”
Lin Mo instantly wondered if he had misheard.
What did she say?
Like?
Su Ran herself didn’t seem to realize she had actually spoken the word “like” out loud.
No awareness, therefore no barrier, and not the slightest pain.
On the surface Lin Mo remained calm, but inside he was ecstatic.
Su Ran’s emotional recognition disorder… seemed to have been overcome in this very moment!
Why?
Because of the intimacy?
Because she was completely immersed here, her brain too occupied to remember her issues?
Filled with quiet joy, Lin Mo leaned down again, kissed her lips once more, then looked at her with doting eyes. “You’re so good.”
Su Ran couldn’t help but squint, showing an expression of pure bliss.
Lin Mo’s voice was soft and low. His embrace was solid, yet the strength in his hands was feather-light, making her dizzy, her calves trembling, her whole body numb, tingly, soft, breathing difficult.
Actually, she wanted to tell Lin Mo—I’m not good, I’m a pervert.
But the words reached her lips and got shocked back. She really couldn’t pull herself away.
After a long while, Su Ran turned her head in extreme shyness and buried her entire face in Lin Mo’s chest.
Lin Mo felt the lingering tremors in his arms and trembled slightly himself. Carefully, he asked the two words: “Like it?”
Su Ran didn’t lift her head. She just gave a muffled “Mm!”
She didn’t say “like” again.
Lin Mo didn’t mind. After all, if there was a first time, there would be countless more.
He gently held the back of her neck and whispered in her ear, “Can you tell me now? Why were you avoiding me? Hm?”
Su Ran seemed to remember something. Her body suddenly stiffened. After a long pause, a soft, wet voice emerged.
“I was scared…”
