“It’s such a hassle. Now I have to come up with another surname.”
Vellandelle let out a helpless laugh.
She glanced around but didn’t see any sign of Seleste.
Since she had been reincarnated, she wasn’t sure if Vilan’s disappearance would cause Seleste to react strangely.
“I’ve already awakened my bloodline. With all that’s happened, Seleste must be completely confused. Even if Vilan fails the trial, it’s probably fine.”
Thinking this, Vellandelle didn’t notice how Rosasys’s expression had worsened after seeing something.
“Oh no, sister.”
“Oh no? What’s oh no?”
Vellandelle snapped back to reality and looked at Rosasys.
She was pointing anxiously at the rules nearby.
“Sister, look! The rules say the top three get private apartments. Damn it, I can’t live with you!”
“It’s fine. If we can’t live together, then we can’t. Isn’t living alone nice too?”
“But I want to live with you…”
Rosasys blushed and lowered her head.
Vellandelle didn’t think much of it and continued, “Hmm… It says here you can discuss with others and switch rooms with their agreement. When the time comes, you can talk to my roommate.”
“Okay.”
Rosasys put her hands together and prayed silently.
“Mother above, please let me live with Sister Vellandelle.”
“What are you doing?”
Vellandelle ruffled Rosasys’s hair, finding her actions a bit funny.
“Let’s not just stand here. I already saw a few people pointing at you from a distance. To avoid unnecessary trouble, let’s enter the Academy now.”
“Yes, I’ll do as you say, Sister.”
Rosasys nodded.
Especially now, with her being ranked first, things would get bad if she was discovered.
So she decisively followed her sister into the Academy.
Once inside, they saw a large map introducing the different areas of the Academy.
The entire campus was as large as a medium-sized city, with clearly divided zones and many roads.
Without a map, it would be easy to get lost.
The central area was mainly for leisure and commerce, with parks, restaurants, craft shops, magical tools, weapons, and more.
The eastern area was the residential park, the west was the teaching area, and the north had offices and department residences.
In addition, on the outskirts of the Academy were crops grown by students, teachers’ families, and servants.
Looking at this Academy, Vellandelle even felt like she was staring at a medieval estate.
“Wow, the Academy is huge!”
Rosasys couldn’t help but exclaim as she looked at the map.
“Yeah, it looks like a whole city. Anyway, let’s stop talking and head to the dormitory.”
“Okay.”
After their ranking was registered, before entering the Academy, the teacher gave them their dormitory information based on their ranks.
They were told that for the first two days, they could get used to things, and inside the dormitory apartment, there were course selection sheets.
After choosing courses, they could visit the teaching area and submit them to the administration office.
Rosasys’s apartment number was 112.
Vilan’s was 404.
Vellandelle hadn’t expected Rosasys to get a number starting with 1, while hers started with 4.
Wasn’t that just a difference of a dozen places? Why were the dormitories so far apart?
Vellandelle grumbled to herself, and Rosasys couldn’t accept it either.
“No way, Sister! You’re too far from me. I have to switch and be with you!”
“Sigh.”
Seleste let out a helpless laugh.
Rosasys didn’t even go to her own apartment and just followed Vellandelle to hers.
Inside Vellandelle’s apartment, sunlight streamed in, casting window shadows on the dark green velvet sofa.
The environment was tidy, and in the sunlight, a faint layer of dust could be seen.
On the round table in front of the sofa were two sheets of paper—probably course selection sheets—so it seemed the roommate hadn’t arrived yet.
Except for the top three, the rest had two people per apartment.
“Let’s wait for now.”
Vellandelle wandered around the apartment.
She had to admit, it was well-equipped.
It was a two-story unit, with a living room, study, bathroom, kitchen, and an underground storage room downstairs.
Upstairs, there were two large rooms for the students to choose as bedrooms, and Vellandelle randomly entered one, noticing it even had a balcony.
Though it couldn’t compare to the Royal Palace of her past, it was still impressive.
The biggest feature was the modern feeling it gave Vellandelle, reminiscent of her previous life.
“It’s really luxurious…”
Rosasys’s eyes sparkled, having come from the countryside.
Vellandelle just smiled.
The environment was nice, but it didn’t quite qualify as luxurious to her.
After going downstairs, Vellandelle discovered there was coffee powder provided as well.
A small jar was labeled, “Newly developed coffee for freshmen by the Café King.”
“Since it’s provided for freshmen, it should be fine.”
Thinking this, Vellandelle started brewing.
She picked up a glass cup nearby, rinsed it with water, and began making coffee.
The thing that amazed Vellandelle most here was the presence of a heating magical tool, which solved her hot water problem easily.
Vellandelle brewed three cups, since there would be a future roommate as well.
“So bitter!”
Rosasys took a sip and almost spat it out.
Vellandelle smiled helplessly.
Coffee was supposed to be bitter.
Not long after, her roommate finally appeared.
“404, did I get the right place? Why are there two people in this room?”
The voice was strangely familiar, and Vellandelle couldn’t help but turn around.
