Even though Si Yan had broken the Space Folding Array from above, they continued to descend for a long time. An Array Technique utilized the power of heaven and earth; if one did not understand its mysteries, it was incredibly easy to become lost within it. If someone were to wander in by mistake, they would wander forever, never finding a way out, eventually dying of old age or starvation until they became nothing more than a pile of withered bones.
Because of this, they saw many corpses along the rock walls during their descent, their clothes having long since rotted away. Su Tao’er was still in the Xiantian Realm and could not fly, so Si Yan held her as they ventured deeper.
As a young maiden who had never been married, Su Tao’er had never been held by a man before. Being carried in Si Yan’s arms like a princess made her small heart thrum wildly.
Si Yan naturally noticed this. He maintained an incredibly serious and solemn expression as he said, “Tao’er, there is no need to be shy. As your master, I am like your father or brother. I am your family, so you do not need to treat me like a stranger. Do not feel embarrassed; just let nature take its course.”
Su Tao’er did not dare to even breathe. She simply nodded obediently as her answer. She even felt a flicker of guilt; her master was such a serious and upright gentleman, even condescending to personally carry her down here, yet she was a young girl in heat, thinking of such nonsense. If he ever found out, she would surely die of shame.
As for Si Yan, his mind was actually in a state of wild upheaval. ‘My precious disciple’s body is so soft…’
Si Yan’s left hand rested just above Su Tao’er’s buttocks, at the innermost curve of her waist. It was the firmest and most pleasant spot to touch. Furthermore, his extended fingers even reached the edge of her perky backside, quietly savoring that forbidden sensation.
‘Being a master is truly wonderful!’
‘My disciple has no guard against me at all. This is fantastic!’
‘With this silly, adorable disciple, if I coax her for a few more years, she might even be able to warm my bed.’
Bai Lan had previously mentioned that while Su Tao’er looked pure and cute, she possessed the figure of a little vixen. Si Yan wholeheartedly agreed. The girl’s chest was incredibly full, but because of her clothing, it was difficult to tell. She belonged to the “hidden” type. But Si Yan was different; he had peeked at her during the night!
By this time, they had descended several 1,000 feet. Si Yan suddenly sensed something. He immediately released his Divine Sense, and after focusing his mental energy, he discovered that the bottom was filled with water!
The water was quite deep. After entering, they dove for about 15 minutes. Not only did the space not shrink, but it opened into a vast limestone cavern!
Fortunately, Su Tao’er had learned the Turtle Breathing Technique, so she was not in any immediate danger. The space inside was massive, perhaps even larger than the upper part of Shenlie Valley!
“So the Phantom Sea has not completely dried up. There is actually this much water underground.” As he spoke, Si Yan tasted the saltiness of the seawater.
After diving a bit further, they finally reached the bottom. At the very base of this abyss, they found a palace lying quietly on the seabed. This palace showed signs of ruin everywhere, but after entering, they found the interior was dry. The seawater was kept out by a barrier.
The three of them walked to the main gates of the palace. The interior was equally dilapidated. Even the plaque hanging at the front was so worn that the inscription was illegible, save for two faint characters at the end: Water Palace.
Despite having a head full of questions, Su Tao’er followed silently behind Si Yan.
Upon entering the Water Palace, Bai Lan saw withered bones scattered everywhere. He frowned and said, “Honored Master, it appears a fierce battle once took place here.”
Si Yan’s expression was strange. “Indeed.”
He had come with the mindset of treasure hunting, but since this Water Palace had already been breached, any treasures had likely been looted. The three of them wandered for about 30 minutes before finally arriving at the main hall.
“Master, what is that…”
Su Tao’er saw a massive humanoid skeleton, dozens of feet tall! It lay slumped in the corner of the main hall. Although she was not afraid, the visual impact was still quite intense.
Si Yan stared at it for a moment before murmuring, “So, there were actually Deities in this world as well.”
Bai Lan, holding his folding fan, felt his expression flicker slightly, but he did not speak.
Su Tao’er did not understand the weight of his words, so she asked, “Master, are you saying the owner of these bones had already reached the Human God Realm?”
Si Yan shrugged and explained, “Tao’er, the existence of these bones while they were alive was not as simple as a Mortal God. The Mortal Realm consists of seven great realms: Qi Refining, Xiantian, Three Souls, Seven Spirits, Mysterious Origin, Spirit Emperor, and Mortal God.”
He took a step forward and added, “Even if one reaches the Mortal God rank, the word ‘mortal’ still precedes the word ‘god.’ It is still within the realm of mortals. Their lifespan is only 1,000 years. After a millennium, they still return to dust. But the owner of these bones was a true Deity in life. They had surpassed the realm of humanity and stepped into the true Divine Realm, becoming a Deity with a lifespan of 10,000 years!”
A Deity?
Su Tao’er felt a bit dazed hearing this. Did a completely new realm exist beyond that of a Mortal God?
Si Yan also felt a surge of emotions. After so many years, seeing a Deity again was under such tragic circumstances. However, despite the regrets, this was at least an opportunity to teach his young disciple.
In front of them, at the center of the main hall, Si Yan saw surging rays of light forming several curtain walls that blocked their path. These were streaks of fierce Sword Qi!
The Sword Qi contained the Great Dao of the one who wielded the sword—his life’s work, his will, and the presence of his power! It completely severed the path ahead!
The swordsman had likely been trying to protect something when he swung his blade. These strands of Sword Qi had existed for thousands of years, yet they remained here, their ferocity undiminished!
Si Yan signaled indifferently to Bai Lan. “Lan, go forward and try first. If you cannot do it, retreat.”
Upon hearing this, Bai Lan drew the Silver-patterned Flexible Sword from his waist. Meanwhile, Si Yan mobilized his Magic Power to protect Su Tao’er’s physical body and Divine Soul.
Su Tao’er watched as Bai Lan put away his folding fan and moved forward with his sword. He approached slowly, closer and closer… *Whoosh!*
When he reached a certain point, the glowing light ahead suddenly erupted! In an instant, it transformed into thousands of violent streaks of Sword Qi! From every direction, they shot toward Bai Lan and everything around him!
Bai Lan raised his sword to defend. In that split second, it was impossible to tell how many moves he had made. His footwork and sword techniques changed tens of thousands of times!
Su Tao’er was dazzled and dizzy from the sight. Furthermore, she realized that countless stray strands of Sword Qi were striking the area around her. It was only because her master’s Magic Power shielded her that she remained unharmed!
“Tao’er! Hug me tightly from behind! Do not get distracted! Hold on tight!”
Given the situation and Si Yan’s urging, Su Tao’er quickly clung to her master to save her life.
From Si Yan’s back came the sensation of two amazing, squeezed soft masses.
‘So… so big!’
‘How did this girl hide them so well?’
Si Yan’s mind began to wander. He only wanted the girl to hug him tighter. He immediately pretended that he was struggling to block the Sword Qi and said in a panicked tone, “Hug tighter! I can barely protect you! Wrap your legs around too!”
Su Tao’er did not dare to be careless. Terrified, she pressed herself even closer.
This was the first time in her life that she had ever embraced a man.
