“Mm… First add this, heat it up, then add this, and once it shrivels, fish it out.
Then a little of this, this, and this… finally, add water and bring it to a boil on high heat.”
Very soon, a pot of bright red liquid with some ingredients floating in it
was bubbling with steaming heat under the blaze of the flames below.
Once he felt it was about ready, Genasa pulled out a slab of meat and, using his sharp claws,
sliced it into thin pieces.
He skewered them on his claw tips, dunked them in the pot to cook, then popped them into his mouth.
“Mm… Just a bit more spice and it’d be perfect.”(, ·~· ,,)
And so, the first Potion of his dragon life turned into a Fiery Hotpot.
“Seriously, making me refine Potions on my own—what if it explodes? Better to eat my fill first. If I die, at least I’ll die with a full belly.”
Genasa muttered contentedly as he dunked food into the hotpot, nodding in satisfaction.
He hadn’t expected there to be so many things in Ge Li’s Warehouse that could be used as seasonings.
Oil, salt, sauce, vinegar, ginger, star anise, cinnamon…
Although these could indeed be used for Potion refining, they seemed even more suited for cooking.
As he ate, Genasa’s movements gradually slowed, and the smile faded from his face.
“Sigh, it’s really no fun eating all alone. It’s better with more people around.”
He finished the remaining meat in just a few bites, filled his stomach, and cleaned up the hotpot.
Once again bored, Genasa lay where he was in silence for a long time before finally
heading straight for the hatching room.
He glanced at the Golden Dragon egg first—nothing unusual—then got up and headed to the White Dragon hatching room.
By now, with the passage of time, the environment inside had also been transformed by the Magic Array
into a world of ice and snow.
The dragon egg just stood quietly on the hatching platform.
“Pet, huh. Heh, that old pervert can’t possibly be so kind, and it’s probably not just her addiction flaring up. She’s definitely got some ulterior motive.”
As he muttered to himself, he suddenly noticed something odd.
That egg seemed to move, just a little—so little that Genasa wondered if he’d imagined it.
His curiosity piqued, he hurried closer and circled the egg, eyeing it curiously.
He even reached out a claw and gave it a gentle poke.
But nothing happened, making Genasa wonder if he’d really seen it move at all.
Pouting, he shrugged helplessly and let it be, instead turning his attention to the icy snow beneath his feet.
Even as a Red Dragon, staying here too long made him feel a bit chilly.
“Mm… I think there’s milk and eggs and such in the Warehouse, right? Maybe I should make some Ice Cream right now, give it a try.”
Suddenly remembering this, he ran back to the Warehouse and began rummaging through boxes and cabinets.
Meanwhile, after he left, the White Dragon egg trembled again, the movement even greater than before.
Genasa didn’t know how long he searched the Warehouse, but he finally gathered all the ingredients he needed.
“There really is all sorts of weird stuff in here. Whatever, better not mess with those strange things right now.”
With the magic on the Warehouse, it didn’t just preserve ingredients for a long time,
but could even store fresh food directly.
So even though these eggs had probably been sitting for decades, they were still usable.
Eggs, milk, some sugar, and then…
“Let’s get started!”
After a bout of clumsy tinkering, Genasa carried a basin of freshly mixed Ice Cream base to the hatching room.
The main gate was closed and he couldn’t go out. The weather was nasty, and if he put it outside,
it’d either get blown away by the wind or buried in the snow.
The White Dragon hatching room, however, was as stable as a giant refrigerator—perfect for this.
He casually set the basin next to the dragon egg, glanced at the egg again, then turned and swaggered away.
In high spirits and full of anticipation, Genasa bounced his way back to the Potion cauldron.
And then, just as quickly, his mood soured.
After a long silence, he finally sighed helplessly:
“Might as well refine it. It’s bound to happen anyway. Can’t keep relying on that old pervert. Sigh.”
Resigned to his fate, he began flipping through the Potion Recipe Book, planning to start with a gentle Potion for practice.
Genasa stared at a picture of a pink Potion on one page and fell into deep thought.
Then, trying to appear nonchalant, he kept flipping pages.
“What to refine first, huh? Such a tough choice, cough cough…”
Though he said that, his hands were already moving.
He hurried off to the Warehouse to pick out ingredients.
“Succubus Fluid, Guangnan Fruit Core, and Volcanic Red-Patterned Spider Leg Hair—the third hair from the end, counting forward from the second leg on the left rear…”
Finally getting serious about refining some not-so-serious Potions, Genasa focused intently.
He had no idea that a faint cracking sound was coming from the hatching room.
And his Ice Cream was being stared at intently by a pair of curious little eyes.
Boom—
A powerful explosion startled the just-hatched Little White Dragon, making her shiver from head to toe,
but she quickly focused her attention back on the unfinished Ice Cream.
The hatching room door swung open, and a disheveled Genasa exhaled a mouthful of foul air, his face full of helplessness.
“So it really did explode, I—damn… hmm?”
Planning to improve his mood with something sweet after failing at Potion refining, Genasa stepped inside—only to find a little nose buried deep in the basin.
The Little White Dragon, about the size of an adult’s head, glanced back at Genasa with ruby-like eyes,
her cheeks puffed out and her face smeared with Ice Cream.
But after that single look, she went right back to devouring the Ice Cream.
Genasa was baffled. The eggshell was sitting perfectly intact, yet this dragon, newly hatched, went straight for the Ice Cream instead of eating her own Eggshell!?
“Stop! No, wait, stop eating! At least save some for me!”
Snapping out of it, he rushed over in a few steps and snatched the basin away.
But the just-hatched Little White Dragon didn’t make a fuss about having her food taken. She just sat there, dazed and uncommonly calm.
Her mouth slightly open, but not making a sound, she just stared at Genasa with that same expression.

“What’s with that look? Go eat your Eggshell!”
Even as Genasa scolded her, she wasn’t moved, just stared unblinkingly at the basin in his claws.
Stare– (O△0)
Stare—
“Tch.”
Stare—
“Fine, fine, here you go. Seriously.”
Unable to bear that odd look, Genasa put the basin down again, and the Little White Dragon immediately dove in and buried her head in it.
Genasa watched her from the side, full of puzzlement.
“White Dragons like Ice Cream? Well, I guess it makes sense. They like things that are frozen, and Ice Cream is sweet—kids love that stuff.”
Not thinking much of it, Genasa glanced at the Eggshell nearby, paused, then made a goofy face, reaching out a claw to break off a small piece.
He tossed it into his mouth without hesitation, and immediately his whole body shivered, feeling a wave of cold shoot from the tip of his tail all the way to his chest.
“Eugh~ Tastes awful. Cold and flavorless.”
Losing interest in the Eggshell, Genasa turned his attention back to the Little White Dragon.
Since she was supposed to be his Pet, Genasa figured he should pay her a bit of attention before he lost interest.
Suddenly remembering something important, Genasa moved behind her,
and gently lifted a particular special scale with his claw.
A dragon’s reproductive and excretory openings are hidden beneath two special scales at the base of the tail.
The reproductive slit only opens when, you know, it’s in heat—males open the front one, females the back.
As for the excretory opening, it’s rarely used. A dragon’s organs can digest even stone, so there’s almost nothing left over, except for a few special substances that can’t be digested.
At that moment, Genasa crouched behind her and carefully checked the scale for her reproductive organ.
“Can’t open the front? Don’t tell me…”
Then he saw

“A female? I think I know what that old pervert is plotting.”
He grumbled about Ge Li’s shamelessness, but then thought to himself:
Young Female White Dragon = loli + white hair + not too bright = wife
“Actually, that doesn’t sound so bad… Ahem! What am I thinking? She’s indecent, but I’m a decent dragon.”
Just then, he felt a strange gaze upon him.
Looking up, he saw the Little White Dragon twisting her head around, staring at him with a look of contempt,
then turning her rear away from him.
“I didn’t do anything. Just eat.”

Awkwardly clearing his throat, Genasa suddenly realized something was off.
“Wait, do you have intelligence?”
